Whats the duration of the operation=?

Hello whats the duration of the operation, like since you enter the operation room till you  go out

    About an hour and half, then into recovery room and after half an hour, had tea and toast and then back on the ward.  Feeling was back in my legs by then but no pain at all, just feeling a bit tenderness, but not in any pain, wonderful.  Good luck to you.

    Wow, reading everyone's replies are really blowing my mind.....  My surgery took 4 1/2 hours.  THR from the rear.  Incision about 12" long.  I had more of a complicated surgery .  I have ceramic and titanium.  I did not have spinal i was intibated with tube.  Was in recovery room for 3 hours......  My surgeon did say that my surgery was a challenge for him, i'm guessing he wasn't just saying that now considering everything i'm reading here.  But, post op 6 weeks and i'm feeling better and better every day.  Can I ask what is a "Theatre" terms are so different here in the USA....
