It's been a very very challenging past 9 months my cycles has been very erratic early, late, heavy, light, longer shorter and since this heck has broken loose. I've had extreme hot flashes that made me so sick I thought I was going to die lasted three weeks just to develop burning skin rapid heartbeat and nervousness. These subsided just to develop hot cold same time to extremely dizzy off balance anxiety this dizziness lasted 5 months just stopped recently. Now here I am still not catching a break my cycle was 11 days late lasted 6 days which went longer this month. I've been having the nervousness and palps and racing heart again bp spikes on meds for that and anxiety. Every night for a month now I doze off to be woken what seems like some kind of adrenaline feeling every single time I doze off takes forever to get some sleep.I been feeling some hot flashes again burning face its just never ending can anyone relate to any of these things? And how do u get through all this peri has destroyed my life and consumed it symptoms get so intense hard to function. I've had ekg labs all normal I just want to feel normal again and I'm 39 years old been going through this since I was 34 all women in my family has went through this journey in their 30's. Thanks for any suggestions in advance

    Hi Pamela

Yes I only wrote a piece on here yesterday or the day before.

It is awful I agree. I feel exactly the same.

When you are going through all these symptoms you actually think you have something wrong. To this day I cannot believe hormones can do all this.

I have the burning body and buzzing all over body. My sleep is non existent. Luckily I gave up work 4 months ago. My life has changed dramatically from laughing, working and socialising to existing. I feel all anxious and twitter in bed and doze for an hour and wake up sometimes not knowing where I am. The worst for me is the acid reflux, throbbing jaw and face and burning and cold nose.

I can't wear my bra at the moment with the tightening chest.

I don't know if you suffer the full ears with tinitus?

I've had the severe symptoms for 5 months now. They were gradual for 4 years before that.

I know you can't think straight but as I've been told hang in there. You are so not alone. I just wish us ladies could meet up. That would be great. Sending hugs xxx

pamela a lot of my palps were at the same time as hot flushes  they seem to have stopped since i started the sage ,the anxiety comes on when we panic about these things i was sure it was my heart try the sage pills x

The palps can come with hot flushes, or just randomly on their own. Its the sudden drop in hormones. The sage will help with flushes and can ease the palps as well.

    Hi Pamela

I can totally relate also. I just turned 47 and for last 10 months I've been experiencing most of that. Looking back I've probably started peri years ago but symptoms got my full attention back last summer with severe depression starting it all off. I was put on antidep and BC pill. Now I'm trying to get off it to try HRT. I can't believe this is happening. I'm still in shock. My days are barely existing. Symptoms change so quickly and add on. New symptom last few weeks is my head keeps turning to the left and have dizzy sensation much worse than the off balance/woozy feeling. Can't believe it's all hormones.

I still can't believe this can all be from hormones. I have about 20-30 different symptoms, with new ones coming every week. Feeling like this is the pits! I feel like I'm one existing too, and sometimes like I've been poisoned. Want my old life back!

      CC Also,

Just to let you know I am 53. I have never been a part of any type of forum. I think this is an awesome site.

Hi Cincal...i am meant to be starting Hrt but can't start until after breastscan which is on May 16th. I have been feeling a lot more stable the last 10 days and have cut out added sugars and caffeine. I woke up this morning feeling crap again....i have been tracking my symptoms on an app so if its like last month i am in for a rough week.....i hate the anxiety and spacy feeling i get...its hard to function.

      Hi Janine

I woke up feeling same way this morning. Hopefully my period will come next day or so. Feeling jittery, on edge, neck tilting, dizziness weepy... God when will this end?

Hi Cincal.. i woke up the same yesterday. I have to work today and feel a bit jittery so have to push through it. It is not really an app although i believe there is one. I have a calendar planner on my mobile and i have been entering my symptoms etc on there for about 6 months. There is definitely a pattern. I hope you feel ok today...we have to remember its the hormones not us...we are all strong intelligent women (even if we don't feel like it most of the time atm lol)
