White bumps on vulva

Hello!

I'm a woman in my 20's. I gave birth 11 months ago and ever since my vagina hurt and was kinda swollen and I could barely put a tampon in. (Because I gave birth and I was stitched up?) After about 4 months after I gave birth I tried to have sex with my partner but it hurt too much so we quit. So we had genital contact but not full intercourse. I found out he cheated when I was pregnant and did not have any sex with him after that.

I never had a STD and neither has he (and still doesn't or atleast no symptoms???)

But since a week my vagina kinda hurt and I made a picture and I saw this white bump in my vulva. So the last time I had any sexual contact was 7 months ago and did not have any white bumps of anything this just started a week ago. A few months ago I also had a random sore/cut (on my clitoris) out of nowhere that lasted pretty long.

Does anyone know what this could be? It doesn't look like any STD if I google pictures of STD's. And I can't find anything similar on the internet that looks like this so that's why I'm posting it here. 😃

First it was one big white bump and a few days later it looks like it's spreading or something? It doesn't hurt either. Does anyone recognize what this is?

Hi there, Is it painful? I would recommend checking in with your GP 😃

      Hello! 😃

No it's not painful, it's sometimes itchy. I will go to the doctor on Tuesday because this is obviously not normal 😉 Hopefully I'll figure out what this is soon!

      Hi Luna!

I'm sorry you're experiencing this! As previously mentioned you should get to the doctor ASAP and request an STD panel...I'm not a doctor but based on your history and symptoms it could be syphilis (secondary stage). There** is a treatment** but that is why it's so important to head to the doctor and *avoid it's progression *.

Good luck at the doctor! And if you're feeling up to it give us a update!

      Hi YMB90,

Thank you for your reply! 😃

And I will, I'll keep posting updates!

It might also help other women who are browsing the internet and stumble on this thread in the future and have similar symptoms and are curious what they might have.

      Hi YMB90,

I went to the doctor and showed the pictures because the bumps suddenly disappeared. And they had no idea what it was either but they said it might (small percentage) be syfilis. I will get a bloodtest soon and then it will show if it is that. Otherwise they have no idea either..

      Hi Luna!

Wow how strange that it just disappeared like that! I'm glad you got the blood tests at least the worst case scenario can be ruled out... thanks for updating! Hopefully that's the last time that happens 😃

      Dear YMB90,

The bloodtest was fine! No syfilis. Yeah in one night everything was just gone... so for now the doctors just leave it how it is because they have no idea either and there's nothing to test now.

If it's back again I'll post another update. 😃

So glad to hear that!!! I'm sure you're relieved 😃 Well I hope that's the last you have to post about it!

      Thank you for the update!

hi there. Looking at your symptoms there is a disorder called Behcet's disease or syndrome which involves these kind of sores. You really need to have them swabbed for analysis. Is your general health ok? Or do have other health issues like tummy or bowel issues? Mouth ulcers are also a part of the syndrome and I see your post elsewhere which shows mouth ulcers. Do have this checked.

      Hi there!

      Thank you for your reply!

I don't have any other health issues, it's solely in my vagina those white bumps. I don't have any other ulcers or rashes anywhere on my body, not in my mouth either.

So you might have seen someone else's post? Because I don't have any mouth ulcers.

I do have some abdominal pain but that might be because my period is coming up so not sure if that's related.

ok sorry maybe I saw someone else's post and thought it was yours apologies. However I would have that swabbed and looked at sometimes Behcet's presents itself with single symptoms. Good luck with it whatever it turns out to be. x

    Update Sunday June 7:

It just seems to be gone overnight:

So I think I might cancel the doctor's appointment? Cause it looks normal again... not sure what it was.

If it changes again or comes back I will post another update. 😃

      Update Thursday 11 June:

Bloodtest was fine! No sign of syfilis. Doctors have no idea what it was, doesn't look like a yeast infection either or any other STD.

Because it's gone now there will be no testing or something so no idea what it was. I'll post updates if it's back again but for now it's gone so I have nothing else to update you about!
