Who said Orlistat dont work? 11lbs loss in my first week!

Im simply amazed! And I wanted to share with everyone my fantastic news! Today was weigh day and yes, I thought I had lost weight as an old pair of jeans fit. But no way did I think the weightloss would be so big! Granted I have a good few stone to lose and I know this is a first week (plus water loss) but for all the naysayers out there who say these tablets dont work, I would argue they do, if you do the work. They are not a magic weight loss pill whatsoever and this is what I think people sometimes expect.

I would like to thank everyone for their tips at the start, I have learned alot about Orlistat and actually felt one of the 'gang', knowing that other people were in the same boat! 

I feel Ive broke the camels back and there is NO stopping me now! 

Next weeks loss to follow.......     smile

    That's incredible!  Great going!  I'm a bit jealous as my loss wasn't so much.  But you've inspired me to keep at it!

      Ah no, you MUST keep going. My weight loss is so big because a)I havent dieted for some time and b) my starting weight is similar to that of a baby rhino! I have 7 stone to lose, so the first week is always going to produce a large amount as a lot of it is water. Good Luck aurynstar Keep plugging!

      I was like you last week, so count those days down, stick with it and I am sure you will have great weight loss! Remember though even 1/2 a pound is a loss! Good Luck!

    That's fantastic. Can you share a typical days diet?  I am struggling to lose I don't know what I am doing wrong. sad. I think it might be not enough water

      Everyone loses weight at different rates try drinking more water see if that helps.

      Just because Dawn lost weight by eating whatever she ate does not mean another person will lose the same or more weight by eating exactly the same things everyone is different.

      Any weight loss or STS is good anything is better than putting on weight!

      I think what Britney says is very true. No one is the same as far as metabolic rate is concerned, we all expend calories in different ways, at different rates.

      I also think some people dont eat enough to sufficiently keep the metabolism raised enough to lose weight. A typical days eating for me though would be porridge or toast and marmalade for breakfast... a sandwich and fruit/diet yogurt for lunch and then a low fat dinner of salmon, new potatoes, sweetcorn, carotts etc. I dont like rigid diets, as soon as I have no choice, I need to binge. So I keep taking those tablets and eating the good stuff! Realistic expectations are needed sadly.
