Will norethisterone affects the date of your next period?

I was on norethisterone last month till the 20th Aug and my period came on the 22nd Aug. My period has not come ever since and it has been 41 days since the start of my previous period. Is anyone experiencing the same thing too? I hope I am not the only one.

    I was on primolut n two months ago and my period came two days after I stopped it and now am almost 8 days late, and am worried

    I know this was posted some time ago but I was taking norethisterone for my holiday I started takiting them before i left and I had already came on, I went on holiday on the 30th on July through my holiday i Carried on taking them but still had my period I came back on the 6th and came on again. I then was then late by about a week and a half for my period and now I haven't came on for my next one and I think I am due on and might possibly be late

    Is it possible to come on late and then be late for my next one too?

    I've got the same issue and it's driving me mad! I took the tablets until 19th of December and had a period the 23rd for 10 days but now I am 3 days late, definitely not pregnant and I don't know whether or not to just go on the implant again? I've been struggling to regulate for years and thought this would be my answer but it clearly doesn't work

    Hi, I am thinking of trying norethisterone because I have a holiday coming up and need a solution for the burden of my period. Would you mind telling me the generic name of the pills you take?

    Hi I know your post is over a year old but I wanted to ask how it turned out? As I am now in this position of waiting currently 10 days late. Only took the tabs for two days. In the middle of a period. It stopped it. I had 3 bleed free days then back on for at least 6-8 now nothing. TIA

    Hey m having the same problem i took primoult for an occasion for 5 days after 6 days i stopped i had periods. Now my periods is 13 days late m worried pleasse suggest or help me. I didnt had sex too. I took it for my sister marriage. Please help

    I know this post is old but is it safe to say that none of you were pregnant even though your period was late? I just started taking these pills 3 weeks ago on a Sunday the day my period started . This is the week no pill and I havent come on. I've been feeling nauseated and vomiting, is this normal?

    My wife was on norethisterone last month till the 10th march and my period came on the 14nd march. Her period has not come ever since and it has been 15 days since the start of her previous period. Is anyone experiencing the same thing too? I hope I am not the only one.

      Im a week late for mine and freaking out my boobs are killing me and feel so drained took a test says im not pregnant! So confused and nervous

      i really dont understand whats happening?!

      i took primolut last month for about 4 days..now i am almost a week late..

      i am freaking out cause this never happens..

      at the same time i feel bad for messing up with my system..reading all your comments i feel like this medicine should literally come with a side effect warning on the leaflet..

      am really stressed..

      any advice is welcome!

      hello,

      i usually get my periods exactly on the same date every month,no irregular menses at all..

      but then i took primolut that one time..and it got messed up..

      i had the next period delayed by 10 days..

      which was not bad,since some of the above comments claim having irregular ones for months..

      i think it depends on how regular ur original cycle is..

      anyways..you should calm down..if your so sure about having protected sex..!

      you will get them soon!

      Hi again just to say I’ve sataryed bleeding but not heaving it’s more in my urine and discharge what was your blood like when it’s started up was it light?

    Hi there, before my last period I took period delaying tablets and it came a few days after and everything was fine. I’m a few days late on my next period and my boobs hurt and I’ve also recently had sex but nothing that I’d be terribly concerned about as it was highly protected. Please help us my period delayed by the tablets I took a few weeks ago and has it messed up my cycle and are your boobs sore too? (I rlly hope I’m not pregnant) can someone help asap!!!
