i am a 50 year old male and 5 weeks ago i had a cystoscopy and was told by the specialist that everything seemed ok i had this test because there were traces of blood in my urine and now 5 weeks later my doctor wants to see me,why would the doctor need to see me if the specialist said everything was ok?the practice nurse telephoned me this morning and said my doctor had received a letter from the specialist and the doctor wants to see me but said it was nothing urgent and nothing to worry about but i am worried, there would be no reason for the doctor needing to see me if everything was ok can anyone help please?

The year of my cardiac arrest I had had this & heart not investigated despite classic symptoms & weekly requests.Instead had acupuncture all year. The Doctors said I was lucky having revived with angioplasty.

So, after having five different procedures to diagnose my haematuria, the CT scan has shown that I have a cyst on my ovary, and haemangioma on my liver. Not sure if these are connected with haematuria, as only spoke to GP over the telephone.  So next week I have another scan to see if cyst has grown in past four weeks. If it has, I will be facing surgery to have it removed. Not sure what type of cyst it is yet, so fingers crossed again.

That's reassuring Andrew.  Had your wife's cyst ruptured?  I ask as it was removed the same day, sounds like it had.  Also what age was she when it happened - as cysts are usually benign if under aged 50.  Thank you for replying.
