WORRIED ABOUT HERPES AND PERMANENT CHANGES ON PENIS HEAD DESPITE NEGATIVE IGG AT 4 MONTHS

hi guys

this all started a year and a half ago i had unprotected sex with a girl

a few days later i had red sore dots on my glans..no crusting or oozing but burning ..hoping it was yeast as the girl did say she got regular yeast infections

I was to scared to go to the doctors at the time and decided that if the dots came back I would get a swab and ordered a igg which I took at 18 weeks which came back

positive for hsv1 (no surprise as I've had it since childhood)

but completely negative for hsv2

the red dots have never came back like they did the first time but my glans doesn't look the same anymore ,the front of my glans is now scarred with ridges when before it was smooth, I've tried clotrimazole on my glans which hasn't changed it..just wondering if anyone else has glans that have permanently changed with scarring after yeast, hsv or even hpv

if anyone has any advice or opinions I would really appreciate the input

Those are normal I believe. They look like pearly penile papules to me. Not a doctor here but I do not see anything abnormal.

thank you so much for the reply

just worried as before the sexual encounter the glans was smooth

now it seems like some sort of permanent balanitis which seems to affect the actual tissue of my glans hence the pearly papules look

I've read that some men end up with erosive balanitis after having hsv2 and even tho I've tested negative i know that the igg is no where near full proof

I'm also concerned that maybe its hpv,i guess on wondering if theres any other guys on here who have had permanent glans changes after a unprotected sexual encounter?

imageimageI've tried clotrimazole and fluoxetine but its hasn't made any changes..imageimage the attached pics dont really show how bad it looks in person, there are cracks that weren't there before the sexual encounter and the glans now have a pitted and wrinkled look...anyone else have anything like this??

from what I can see it looks normal. You can develop pearly penile papules at any time.

same here man , i just think thats how our glans skin will look from being irritated at some point maybe from a fungus but there is no one that can tell me that it is HPV and i know its definitly not HSV

what testing have you had for hsv

have you ever had the area swabbed?

I had to pay for a specific typed igg at 4 months and it came up negative for hsv2,really I should be happy but as you probably know it's only 92 % accurate and I cant help feeling I'm in the other 8%...

I've tried clotrimazole which didn't help my glans and the girl I slept with did say shes prone to yeast infections, interestingly I did have red burning testicles which the clotrimazole did stop but sadly my glans is permanently irritated and scarred

sooo if it's not hsv which I'm not 100% convinced and it doesn't seem to be yeast related unless yeast infections can cause permanent scarring and irritation on the glans then the only thing left is hpv which I dont know if theres oitments or creams that males can use??

the biggest fear I have is passing this on and I've stayed single for over a year because of this...but with a negative igg at 4 months no recurrence of an outbreak so nothing to swab, and no real testing for hpv I'm kinda in limbo...I've come to the thinking that I've done all I can and we cant live our lives in fear..the truth is all penises look different and most women wouldn't even notice

anyone else have one primary outbreak of hsv2 on glans only and no further outbreaks but erosive balanitis forming in the months after??

alot of people are having this and they are virgins and some have no herpes and herpes is on the shaft , i believe its ethier broken blood vessels to the glans or infected blatter

The photos you have posted are of a completely NORMAL penis - the glans / head would have developed like this anyway irrespective of whether you had unprotected sex or not, or whether there was an infection from yeast or anything else for that matter, previously

= this is the natural development of your penis !

      thanks the reply

I sincerely hope your right, all I know is it was completely smooth and unblemished before sexual contact then red type sores and after that in the following months this wrinkled pitted red patch with ridges in the glans formed

If you are still concerned go to an STI or sexual health clinic and get it visually checked

already have mate...the gum clinc wont swab as theres no open sores and theres no pain or itching on the affected area on the glans...I had to pay for an igg bloodtest privately

I explained to them about the original sores and they said if they ever came back to book in and get swabbed asap

all I know is after unprotected vaginal sex there were sores on glans once and after a few months scar tissue and ridges developed in that area which is how it looks permanently now

my worry is a far from accurate igg and passing this on to someone else

Any updates? Are you using any creams, seen a doctor?

I'm using coconut oil but the damage seems to be permanent

it's doesn't seem to be superficial and only on the surface level of the glans but actually damage from the inside if that makes sense?image

really worried that my balanitis is where hsv2 entered my body as my glans use to be completely smooth and unblemished before

image anyone else have this problem after a primary hvs2 outbreak??

any updates i been seeing doctors almost think its from rough masterbating

Exact same problem here. Have you tried pimecrolimus / tacrolimus?

It helps with my inflammation - but basically looks the same.

Come on man. It has nothing to do with "rough masterbating". That's a plain stupid comment if people are having this very issue for YEARS.

bruh stfu are u a doctor why u telling me its not from masterbating if u even stop and think about broken blood vessels to the glans what would happen ? no one has a cure yet so
