Worried sexual dysfunction is permanent

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hi I'm in my twenties and was on venlafaxine for four days. Took 1 Tuesday 1 Wednesday 2 thurs and 2 Friday. I straight away noticed bad side effects. Couldn't get erection at all and lost all interest in sex. But I'm really really worried because four days after stopping I've noticed no change and feel worried that this is permanent. I understand that had I been taking for a long time it might take some time but I only took for four days surely it should have come back by now,

Thanks and I appeciate any replies. Hope everyone is doing well x

Hello jimmy, it's very kind of you to ask I appreciate it. Well it's been 2 and a half weeks nearly. I feel pretty good generally but there's only slight difference so I do still feel quite on edge about it. But I think, not 100% sure that it's gotslightly better which is good. I could be imagining tho. Still in shock how these 6 pills may have impacted on my body so strongly and I'm quite confident that it's not all in my head. Maybe slighty. Before I would have to think about something to keep it down lol now i struggle doing the opposite.  So I suppose I'm feeling a lot more optimistic but still very tears at times x

      Cheers mate
