Telling me I'm always sick! Yes I am an alcoholic... You can't handle it..that's what doors are for...can't stand someone walking around cleaning around me making me feel more guily as I'm just struggling to make broth. And he did his thing last night...drugs. Has a good pattern of that and just got up..but that's OK...and is to him cause he functions. However this is first 2 weeks he's buys his own...and think he's dealing the financial stress and harm it causes. Trying to make me feel bad by saying he's going out with a buddy tonight..he NEVER does. .and I doubt he can stay away from HIS problem... Needed to vent

Hang on in there, you know you can do it. Know just how you feel about being on the couch when b/f comes home from work. Hardly moved since he left me ten hours ago and nothing done since he left. Take care and watch AWS.

AWS is something I learned about years ago..can last up to a year...ACUTE WITDRWAL SYNDROME.. Explains alot in first year of sobriety

Hi Missy2 u are lucky to have someone that's loves u, bcz most men will not stand a alcoholic wife/ partner, try to both go for councelling to solve your demons, wish u good luck dear.

I know I am lucky that my husband and family have stuck by me. I agree many men would have walked years ago. Three kids and families came to see me yesterday for my birthday. It was also my sons birthday as well. He said I'd given him the best birthday present, a sober mum. However after my last huge binge, I know my husband would find it hard to still stay with me if i have another binge.

      I don't know about lucky...LOL.

But we BOTH are fortunate to have someone to put up with our crap! YOUR right!

And no one would have came to see you if you were sloshed.  You have been a great example for me in the past couple months and I SO appreciate you and these little "stories" of success.

And you have been thru alot in the past month alone!
