Would ladies attend a social group for pcos suffers offering advice and support about diet fitness ?

I was diagnosed with pcos at around 21 I am now 27 and as I've got older and struggled more with the different elements it can bring I'm wondering why there is not a local group who meet to support and discuss maybe even advise and share their experiences? I'm wondering how other ladies feel about this if there was such a group would you feel it's something that would benefit you?

Great Emma. I've not currently got a facebook account, but will set one up so I can look at the site you have done. What do I have to do to find it? I don't understand much about facebook, so would appreciate your help.

Hi Emma. I think this is a brilliant idea. I live in London. If it helps, I have a suggestion. Since everyone is based in different locations, would it work if we did some type of Skype chat group to begin with? I'm not great with technology so don't know how condusive it would be to have loads of people logged on at the same time but I'm sure we could give it a go smile

    Please keep me updated.

      Hi J

I'm thinking Skype could work. I do suffer with confidence issues, so this could be really good for me.

Not sure fully how Skype works and how many people could be involved at once, but I'm up for it.

Hello All. This may have already been said, but there used to be national groups for PCOS sufferers listed on Verity's website. They are the PCOS charity, but I haven't looked at their web site recently,so it may have changed. Dorothy
