Wow where do i start..................it all began about 6 weeks ago driving early one morning and had a violent dizzy spell so bad had to stop the car.
Anyway drove home and just felt muzzy headed all day after that so went docs on wednesday he said it sounds like labyrinthitis to me anyhow cut a long story short went private after having another violent dizzy spell where i felt like i was being swung around by my ankles where he diagnosed bppv..... done epley manouvre but no change had MRI scan all clear went to hospital again last week another doc says bppv aswell.
But i cant sem to make them realise i just feel really foggy and probably light headed in mornings untill about midday when it seems easier feels like real heavy head cold where your head just feels completely bunged up but with lightheadedness thrown in aswell.
some days feel about 95% next day feel bloody awful and its starting to make me depressed now as there seems no end in sight!!

Marlene, i gave up smoking 6 months ago, after 40 years of smoking my head off, still miss having fag but hey ho. Anything to try and help, drink decaff coffee now, gone vegetarian also. Big changes considering i am now 57 yrs young. Things are improving but think that's more to do with adapting to the condition, who knows? Wouldn't want to go back to smoking now though as feel much improved but have put on a stone in weight in that time, so had to go up a dress size. Also just got myself a wig for bad hair days Just pop it on my head like a hat and ready to go.

unfortunately there is also caffeine in tea and caffeine is something to avoid according to the mirgraine associated vertigo diet even if you don't get headaches vertigo allegedly can be triggered by caffeine.

correct, it's all come on top with the menopause, giving up smoking, vertigo, if it were a game of bingo i would have a full house. Serious about the wig though, don't know why i didn't get one years ago. They're all waiting for me to wear it to work tomorrow. I told them it will be staying on my head and not for passing around to see how it looks on them. They'll all want one. Guess i will keep warm with that on my head
