Here is the radiologists report
Severe global osteoarthritic changes right hip with almost no remaining joint space, but with sclerosis confined to the articular surface of the acetabulum. Relatively normal looking femoral head, but inferiorly there is a bony bridge extending from the femoral neck towards the inferior aspect of the acetabulum. There is global joint space loss in the left hip with early osteoarthritic changes in the roof of the joint. Normal sacroiliac joints. Normal pubic symphysis and pubic rami.

Just been out for a walk my right hip felt the same as usual but my good hip (the left one was in pain and still is )
this is the first time i have felt this , does anyone else get this ?

It must be a certain amount of deferred pain Billy, I was getting in my left hip at times. Have you tried using ice on it??
