Hi all, I've got my surgery on the 9th Feb but my X-rays are over a year old now. Does having new ones make a difference? does everyone get new X-rays before surgery?

my xrays were about 6 months old ...
I think linnet is right ..
on first day post-op, a new xray was taken to make sure hardware was placed correctly. ...

I had mine done on the morning of surgery (I am in Cornwall). My surgeon likes you to have a two pence piece wedged between your thighs (yes really) - something to do with measuring during the op. Mine wouldn't stay put because I kept giggling.

No difference, the OA would only have shownup as being worse.
