following on from my comment about bath water in another thread I thought we should share the little things that tell us we have lost weight even if the scales don't tell us.

So to start

You know when you've lost weight when the water can get round you in the bath

You can zip up the boots you haven't worn since 2003

Someone at work notices you look different

You run for a bus and your flab stops moving at the same time as you (not several mins later).

You can roll over in bed without mechanical assistance.

Yr mother stops asking you if you've lost weight.

.....when the stairs no longer groan when you run up them and you're not out of breath.

.....when you can now fit into that suit you stopped wearing six years ago because it became too tight.

.....when you look forward to going to the theatre again because you are no longer worried about not fitting into the seats.

    Hi,

    * When you can get in those coveted pre baby jeans and look better than they ever did before!

    * When you have to make an extra hole in you belt!

    * When you go to aqua fit and do not have to stop half way through!

Thank you so much for this forum, I really do not think I could have done this without all your positive comments and brilliant advice!

1 stone down, 4 to go,

    Keep losing,

    Sasx

When I wrap myself in a towel and my tummy doesn't open it up in the kitchen in front of the windows, and everything falls out.

When my husband can out his arms around me and touch fingers.

When I am confident enough to hold my head high and feel a sexy fox

You set off for work in the size 18 you bought 2 weeks ago (been a size 20 for years) and it ends up round your ankles. Good job it happened before I got out the front door.
