8 WEEKS... WHERE ARE U AT? BODY/THOUGHTS/WORK
Posted , 6 users are following.
I have hit 8 weeks today, from a TAH. Would love to hear from others at this point... "How is your body recovering", "How are you dealing with it", and if you are "Back at work", if so... how is that?

I don't like that sore tummy feeling at all.. do you notice it gets worse in a sitting positon TOO LONG?!?!
I went back to work 3 days ago... terrible... terrible.. I need to GET UP and walk.. I am exhausted going home..
7 hours straight.. no break or lunch.. I am TOO BUSY
I don't have the back ache.. but I do feel that incision area and my SIDE HURTS..
Guess we just need more time
But I feel SO MUCH better than day 1.. that's for sure!

I didnt eat all day, I think I was a lil' weak..
I plan on resting some this weekend.... honeslly.. I think I needed another week off... my dr. told me 7 weeks, I just went along with it...
Well.. I know I won't split open again (did that twice)..its just the tired thing now....
Even though my job is a desk job, I am sitting TOO LONG... I tried getting up a couple times, not enough... I need to make a big note to remind me
I"ll keep ya posted...gosh, I do NOT want to set myself back.

I teach a part time SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS for kids.. and I had to buy games/prizes today, for tomorrows class... I had my cart filled at the store, they lady rings me out, then says "oh, you cant take the carriage out, they're new".. We had snow today... just 3 inches, not much, and it was plowed.. soooooooo.. ok.. I carried 7 bags in on my arms ACROSS a lot... O-M-G my stomach.. I felt all these sensations.. and not good ones...
I was bad
I will try to be better this weekend! shhhhhhhhhhh .. dont tell!

As for the snow, keep that over there, you always seem to send us the snow after you guys in the USA had had it Anyway is that a ladies 3 inces or a mans? If it's a mans three inches then we are in trouble! x
I'm also trained as an LSP (we call it a Learning Support Practitioner over here, teaching special needs children on a one to one basis), I specialised in Speech and Dyspraxia but I don't do it anymore, I've moved into special needs adults instead. I do miss the children, I loved that job, just the head teacher (Principal I think you call them) was not very nice and I ended up leaving not only my job but education all together x

SNOW...... THAT'S TOO FUNNY 3''
That is awesome that you work with Special Needs.. I've been in special needs now for about 20 yrs... I actually worked mostly with Autistic children... but have also worked with Downs... love my kids! You must have LOVED that job, so rewarding... but... I'm sorry to hear that the head teacher was not pleasant to work with
I am very lucky... love my principal!
