Blotchy red rash/irritated skin on penile head (lasted for over 3 moths now)?

Posted , 410 users are following.

Part of the skin on the head of my penis has become slightly red and is causing some pain/irritation.

It first appeared the day after I used a condom so I think I must have had a reaction to the latex or some other substance in the condom.

The tip of the penis became super sensitive and noticeably hurt whenever it touched my underwear.

The skin was and still is noticeably red close to and directly around the meatus. This redness gets worse and bigger after I've come out the shower or masturbated.

An hour or so after ejaculation, I get a slight burn/irritation at the very end of the urethra when I urinate and this can last for a few days before subsiding. This has put me off from masturbating as much now.

This has lasted for about 3 months now with no signs of improvement.

I saw a doctor and was prescribed timodine/hydrocortisone cream and this didn't have much effect and am slightly worried it may just make things worse so have stopped using it for now.

It almost seems as if the redness comes from within the skin rather than on the surface.

I don't think its balanitis as I haven't had that for over 12 years when I was a kid and that was with the usual smegma discharge etc, whereas this is just redness.

I've attached images to show how it looks straight after showering, which is when the redness is at its worst and the contrast between the normal skin colour and the redness can be clearly seen.

Amazing how often gut issues has come up on this thread yet the majority of readers seem to ignore it as a likely cause and continue to bang on about the same old stuff that's been bounced around on this thread for years! Why does it seem so impossible to some of you that how you treat your body internally can manifest externally in all manner of ways? Maybe because it would require a lifestyle change and some long term effort to actually see improvements, rather than just popping a pill or buying the newest cream. For those of you who haven't taken the time to study this thread in it's entirety I suggest you do because there are real answers in here, and if you've had every test and tried every cream like so many on here.. you need to look inside. Your gut health dictacts your entire physical health and immune system.

I SOLVED (well found out what my issue was atleast) and posted a huge comment regarding it. The moderators deleted it. Why?

Good job man!! Thank you so much, let us know! Try it again and omit anything that could be against the terms and conditions maybe? What is the short answer anyway?

Yeah, I edit it a bit, shorten things up and keep it more general I think... stay tuned...

    [SOLVED]

keep in mind, this is my personal case and this will not be the case for everyone but I do believe this will solve MANY out there.

This was self diagnosed so far but the situation I'm about to discribe is pretty unmistakeable. If you're just tuning in now, try to go back a few pages and follow my original posts through to this one, there, I attach images and pictures documenting the progress.

My diagnosis of HPV was incorrect.....

    IT'S LYME DISEASE/MORGELLONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not from tick bite but through sexual transmission

In my case it expressed as Morgellons also. Apparently happen in only 4 - 6% people with Lyme infection.

So right after my last post, showing images of the "flare up". I applied a x3 antibiotic ointment and started noticing what looked like worms coming out of the skin in droves, worms, hard black specs, crystals, tiny white stones.....I was in shock. Anyway, after a lot of research, I figured out it was Morgellons (no it's not nanobots from chemtrails, I'll explain)

So Morgellons is related to Lyme disease. The exact cause is still pretty unknown but basically 98% of people with Morgellons, test positive for the Lyme bacteria, some strain of Borrelia. With Morgellons the current theory is borrelia miyamotoi or duncani. The bacteria are said to affect the cytoblast cells communication with the skin cells and cause the hair (keratin and collagen) producing proteins to miss fire and produce mutations. These mutations show up as little fibres(hairs), fibre entanglements (little black specs), sometimes crystals or calcifications (little white stones) and other crazy $hit you wouldn't believe. These build up under the skin, cause pain and inflammation.

These bacteria are resilient, they can go dormant, they can change forms L-shape cyst type which are impervious to antibiotics. They can PERSIST for years which I think would explain why lost of people aren't having success with antibiotics and have had this "balanitis" type rash for years. They can live in the mouth, vagina and semen. But so far the focus is on transmission by black legged deer ticks. But I think we're entering a new paradigm with how these are transmitted... it's like the new silent STD no one knows about. Eek.

There's another forum out there, full of guys who came to a concesus that they got this specifically after oral sex so these strains of bacteria are WELL KNOWN to live in the mouth. Borrelia denticola just to name one strain smile

Again, this won't be EVERYONE's case, but it is definately mine.

Thank you. I am definitely diving into this subject and learn more.

Do you just have the unofficial diagnosis?

How to get rid of it?

Can you link the other forum, please?

Very interesting find, thanks for sharing with us. Do you have a link to that forum you referred to if possible please?

Thanks, all the best with your treatment.

      Hey man,

Interesting find, but how does one get rid of it? Is it even curable?

      Hi Canadianmale81

The information you shared was really helpful, I believe in what you explained and I think it was also true in my case, my symptoms were the same as yours, I also applied a lot of cream but has no effect, and the appearance is very similar to the Morgellon you mentioned above. I believe in you and want you to share specifically the implementation method + the required materials

The materials you mentioned above I do not understand what it is:

      What is ACV?

      What is x3 antibiotic ointment?

Would you please show me how to do it!

      Thank you very much!

So far just self diagnosed, but with the expression of Morgellons, and the fact that the research shows that Morgellons is related to Lyme type bacteria or co-infectors like bartonella, it's pretty cut and dry.

If you have tiny fibres, fibre tangles, crystals, calcifications, etc. coming out of your skin, there's not too many other diagnosis you can give smile.

    AGAIN,

AGAIN, VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER, THIS IS JUST MY CASE, DOESN'T MEAN IT'S YOURS ALSO.

Treating lyme related infections is a whole discussion in itself. Most people treat Morgellons using a Lyme treatment, because apparently it's caused by the Lyme bacteria (no proof yet but 98% of people with Morgellons have the lyme bacteria so some relationship exists)

If you do have a Lyme bacterial skin infection:

for topical treatments, definately use anything with sulfur (DSMO), anything with terpenes in it, pine oil, lemon oil. Oregano mixed with coconut oil or olive oil. Any high potent anit-bacterial essential oil will work. So for oregano oil seems to be working for a lot people. You need to mix it or you'll burn your skin.

But more importantly, you need to treat it from within, need to alkalize your diet, eat clean and healthy, exercise, take anti bacterial herbal remedies. Really too many to list... start doing research on-line.

For people with Morgellons, no one knows if it's curable, but if it's bacterial, it should be. With Lyme type infections, I think it's a matter of getting your body and immune system back into balance so it can suppress it.

Yeah ofcourse, I documented it all.... it's very weird, don't really feel like sharing them here. I don't think it will help anyone. If you have Morgellons, you'll know it! lol. Microscopic Fibres, crystals, white stone calcifications, fibre tangles, fuzz balls and more come out of you skin like magic...

My suggestion would be this, treat the rash or inflamed area for 1-2 weeks with Castor oil. Spread it all over... castor oil really helps to bring toxins out from deep layers of skin. That's what I was doing before the flare up and I think it caused the flare up initially. Then once you flare up, if you do. Soak in 50/50 vinegar (preferably ACV) mix for a long time, 30min-1hr... See if you get white demarcations. If you do, most likely means bacterial skin infection. Then, wait a day or so to heal up (The ACV/water mix seems to really do a number on these things, so your flared up rash will essentially scab over, it's like the ACV burns through the bacterial colonies and the thin skin protection they create).....and hit it with x3 antibiotic ointment, see what happens then. When I did all these steps, that's when I got an explosion of morgellons symptoms, spent about 2 hours picking them out, they just kept coming out from the inflammed skin... then from then on, I havn't had any issues since on my glans smile inflammation went down, glans and head are almost back to normal except for a slight, non painful reddish patch that's almost unnoticeable.... but what happens is these bacteria are smart, so they sensed the attack and moved to my balls, so now I'm treating that. Same method.

Doing topical stuff is really annoying and time consuming though, for bacterial stuff, I really believe treating internally is the way to go. Topicals is more of a band aid solution, can provide some temporary relief.

More evidence of bacterial infection, I bought some essential oils, Cinnamon, black walnut husk etc. started putting drops of those in my water, the first few days of doing that, didn't think of it at the time, but I actually started herxing. I got itchy all over, had major crawling sensations ( which is apparently acetylaldehyde being released when the bacteria die).. A common symptom for Morgellons sufferers.

But yeah, overall, after doing what I described above, and researching all about how to treat lyme, and treating myself, along with good diet and excercise, I'd have to see I feel like everyday I just get a little better and more back to normal. Seems like the glans look more and more back to normal everyday. The penis no longer looks sick, feels stiff or inflamed... I have a few little pimpl/cyst bacteria colonies on the scrotum now but I'm treating that with the ACV mix and an oregano oil mix and seems to be under control. One day at a time.

      Hey man,

It's great to hear that your treatment is going well. But it would be helpful if you posted photos of those colonies and stuff coming out form under your skin. For comparison. Of course only if it won't make you feel weird too much to post it here.

Thanks for considering and good luck with your treatment.

I REPEAT. THIS IS MY CASE, AND DOESN'T MEAN IT'S YOURS.

Just because you have redness and irritation, doesn't mean you have morgellons/lyme. There are VERY specific symptoms related to Morgellons and YOU don't have them. Unless you have microscopic fibres/crystals/white-stones and other weird debree coming out of the skin, you DON'T have Morgellons. Keep researching.

The first thing that sends up a red flag in your case is "cold sores"...

have you been tested for all common STI's? HSV-1 HSV-2?

If you're partner had cold sores on their mouth, that's not a good sign. Your issue could be viral, HSV-1.

Nah, I've posted enough so far. The description explains it well. Just retrace my posts, I've posted pictures of the "flare up".. I think that's good enough. This was my experience and DOES NOT mean it's everyone's issue. Let's not fall into the very easy trap of assigning the same cause to somewhat similar symptoms..

I think this forum will have a variety of causes,  it's a variety of bacterial/viral infections, autoimmune disorders, pre-diabetes (ie. bad diet)

Lyme disease (bacterial), physical chaffing, probably a few others also.

Just turns out that I found out mine was Morgellons/Lyme.

Keep researching and you'll figure it out also smile any pain, any swelling, any inflammation, anything different about your body, there is ALWAYS a cause! just a matter of finding out what it is and fixing it.
