Breath smells like faeces (Poo)
Posted , 379 users are following.
I have this horrid poo smell from my mouth. I brush my teeth twice a day, floss, use Dentyl PH mouthwash, I have the best oral hygeine of anyone I know but I still have this smell. I am too embarrassed to even ask my flriends or family to tell me my breath stinks. I am becoming totally reclusive because of it. Id rather go to my GP and tell him ive got an STD. I know ive got it coz sometimes people look around and ask if ive farted, and I see people with babies smelling their nappies when I speak. It really is starting to badly affect my life but I just cant pluck up the courage ot go to my GP. How on earht can i ay \"DR, My breath smells like poo!\" Please, if anyone has any tips let me know.

I took mine on an empty stomach. I am also taking a table spoon of virgin coconut oil and rinse for 10 minutes. I pray this will be successful for you. I'm on day 7 and still no bad breath. People posted that it will come back but I have faith it won't. Let me know how it works for you. I'm so excited. I'm praying for you.

- I have silver fillings
- prolonged stress
- past few years developed rashes off and on
that I never had before ( look like ringworms)
- oral thrush
- excessive passing of gas
- had appendix removed( I added this because it's just been recent in the medical community that they now discovered that your appendix was a reserve for good bacteria, so this actually seems very important seeing how if bad bacteria overran my digestive system and normally I would have that reserve to help fight it off, but I no longer have my appendix. I thought that was worth mentioning.
So I'm just trying to find common denominators with people with bb. I truly hope you have been cured. Maybe it won't if you have your appendix and if the antibiotics kill off all your good and bad bacteria that your appendix will kick in and replace he good bacteria. In a way I hope the appendix has no contribution to bb, because then I'm screwed.

I bought it from pharmacy online, but I have not received them. But yesterday I went to a diifferent GP. I was able to convinced him.
He prescribed me the 400mg yesterday and I have just started after my dinner.

Yeah no worries. I will. My BB is probably coming from my spicey food. We are vegetarian but not raw as in fresh vegeatables. I cooked them with lots of spices. So I think Im going to stop using spices and see if my BB will go away. I will let you know after I finiz my metro but you can try them as everyone issues are diffrent I think.

you need to know what kinds of food triggers your BB. To me I know what foods. I have a decent breath at times as long as I don't eat foods that makes my breath stinks. It's just so hard to be selective on food sometimes and I would say f*** it and eat a whole chocolate and drink milk.
Pls go see a periodontist and have them check your throat. You never know you might have something hidden inside your throat like I did. Or I guess ENT dr can also check your throat.

Start gargling tea tree oil. Gargle tea tree oil 10 - 15 mins before your interview then rub some peppermint oil all over your gum!
Tree oil and peppermint oil are not expensive. Go get it

Already 3rd into the treatment with little side effects, little nauseated, noticeable rusty urine, but that's pretty much it. All those are normal side effects and should go away after day 10 of the treatment I'm told.

I've given up on it now because I'm so fed up. Drinking red wine right now thankfully nobody home. I'll get some more vit c as it definately helps. It seems to produce lots of saliva in my mouth, I just suck it slowly and let it dissolve on my tongue.
We are all different though so it might help some but not others.
I had my tonsils removed which I think has made my bb worse. I didn't have tonsil stones. Now I'm thinking my tonsils stored the bad bacteria but now my mouth has more.
It's so hard to know without having somebody to ask. My husband never admits I've I have it.

Hi, did you have chronic bb and it was solved by chewable vit c?becouse I have this problem for more than 10 years and have tried anything possible (brushing after every meal, floss ,mouth wash , see a dentist....)to get rid of it but I couldnt , it's always there . it is so depressing and my life is so hard becouse of it .so cheweable vit c will help for my case?

Hi yeham
I've suffered my whole life and I'm now 43 with no cure. However I do feel like there's some relief when chewing vitamin c. I got the tip off another bb forum. If I let it dissolve slowly in my mouth, usually let it dissolve at the back of my tongue. I use the high strength one too. I chew them all the time which is probably really bad for me. I met my husband while I was doing this and he always says he never noticed my bb. I stopped doing this as I was breast feeding so worried about too much vit c in milk.
Others on here have tried and said it makes no difference but you should try everything just incase something works for you.
So high strength chewable vit c as many as you think keeps your mouth moist and fresh.

Hi Daniel,
I am trying to figure this out - since it's just starting for me. I've had this kind of breath for 3 weeks and I realized that I had started taking a supplement around 3 weeks ago with caffiene in it. I see from this discussion that caffiene is a big acid reflux trigger... and I've never thought about it before but I might have acid reflux. I'm reading up on that now. I've always had excessive gas. The acid reflux was never very painful and it didn't have a lot of negative side effects for me until now. I hope that treating that will make this breath go away. I'm responding to see if you've had any luck from 3 years ago when you posted this.
