Chest pains

Sorry to post this in here but i'm dying for answers, its driving me crazy. Basically about 2 years ago I was diagnosed with anxiety after weeks of chest pains and dizziness, i had 2 ECG's one at A&E and one at my doctors which both came back normal and then i had a stress ECG, which also came back normal. The chest pains and dizziness have come and gone now and again since 2 years ago but for the past 2 months i've had a bad patch of it, every day basically cant seem to shake this one off and now it seems to get me when im excercising as well, like going for a jog or on the bikes are the gym. So i went back to the doctors again last week and had another ECG done which came back fine, then went on a health test where I had an ECG done and a stress ECG done, both came back fine again but during the stress ECG i didnt have any chest pain, so maybe the ECG wouldnt of caught anything if i didnt get my usual symptoms?
I'm worried sick i've got something wrong with my heart, i want to start going to the gym again but i'm too worried about it. Do I go back to the doctors and ask for more tests or is an ECG & stress ECG sufficient enough to put my mind at rest? I've now had 4-5 ecg'S over the past 2 years and two stress ECG, but i just can't get over it.

I have constant shortness of breath since past 7 years and also chest pain & very fast heart beats over the years which is often followed by burps of acids and i feel relieved after that but during last 2 weeks i have started feeling chest and back heavy and again ECGs are normal ! I am everytime thinking about it and therefore doctors think i have anxiety. please help if you know what my symptoms are. I am 19 years old and don't know what tests to do for further clarifications. Is it that i myself make this things happen or it is a heart blockage! please help.

Hello mehtac , anxiety is defo a factor that causes all sorts of symptoms , I am no health expert by any means therefore can only reply in a manner to try and re assure you that positive ECG results are exactly that , positive.Has doc done your Bloods ? that also would give you reassurance.I know when I am anxious it's because it's natural to worry when you can't get a definitive answer.Just go back to doctor and ask him to look into it further even if you have to take someone with you.Try not to worry I am sure you will get to the bottom of it so just you look forward , keep your head up and I'm sure you will be fine.Remember tests done so far are a big positive ! Your to young to spend your time worrying needlessly.Dont keep your concerns to yourself speak to someone , a good listener always helps.Keep your chin up youngster you will be fine.😁

I was wondering how you are feeling now. For years I've been going thru the same thing. I'm 39 years old married and mom of 13 yr old daughter I adore. So I'm scared. I feel something is terribly wrong. Just last week I was taking my ambulance as my chest pain knocked the wind out of me and I couldn't talk. I was at the hospital 6 hrs had 3 Ekg a chest x-ray and blood work all normal (textbook normal per the emergency room doctor). My blood pressure was 299/? In the ambulance and I take blood pressure meds plus anxiety meds plus antidepressants. I'm scared that they have missed something . Please ANYONE HELP?

Hi,
I didn't get a response on my reply so I'm writing to let you know that age is not a factor these days when it comes to heart or organ problems nor stroke.
I had a dear friend whom I worked with and he was 25 years old but the company we worked for flew him back to his family after dying of a massive heart attack.
It's your pain that no one should ever suffer thru pain....go to my reply and initial story. Don't be the person to suffer through pain as I did for 20 years. Either you need a second opinion or find the source of the pain.
We know our body and what we feel better than anyone... That's why you need to keep a journal of the onset of your pain daily.
Sometimes it a change in our eating habits and then it can extend to change in our whole lifestyle when the final results are discovered. Never give up on you and settle for what you have been told especially if you have pain daily. If it's heart related then you will know by symptoms and locations....if it's digestive then your journal will reflect what and when you ate or drank. If it's some other cause your pain levels can variety due to the problems....do the the journal...within two weeks to one month you will have the documented results you need to further your resolution needed.
Best Wishes On This Journey For A Painfree Life...

Hi there everyone!
I am 22 years old female and I have severe anxiety and I have been having on and off chest pains for almost 2 months now. I have had every test I can think of, ECGS about 5 or 6.. all positive, one doctor even said that it was better then his. I went to the ER one night and had a full cardiac examination, chest x ray, blood tests, another ecg and everything else to test the heart. My doctor said that it is very unlikely that a 22 year old would suffer from a heart attack or heart issues unless you are born with a heart problem which i was not born with. I have been to 6 different doctors who all examined me, I also was referred by one to a cardiac specialist who did a stress test, even checked my lungs for clots and he checked my body and eyes for anything for even the future that could mean a heart issue. All came back fine and I do have high cholesterol is it currently 6.7 but he has put me on medication, it use to be a lot higher. I also know many people will have there say about this but i do believe in psychics and my mum has a very close friend who is one and i speak to her a lot and she is very good at what she does, can see your whole system and I truly believe her. She said my heart is fine and that with how my bad anxiety creates the pains because I always think about it so it appears. It's like i'm waiting for something to happen so i freak out when literally nothing will happen it's just anxiety causing it. ANYWAY - after all these tests i still am getting on an off pains.. it isn't fun at all and i really wish i believed everything the doctors say but sometimes it's like i think what if something's wrong now after all these tests.. i can keep going to the doctors and they'll keep saying the same but you can get indefinite chest pain if you have that bad of anxiety but it can go away once your anxiety gets better. I do still freak out that it could be something else and i know what others about saying get a second opinion and what not is an option but the 25 year old mentioned above who i'm really sorry that passed away of a heart attack could of smoked, drunk, did drugs or was born with something. I know it isn't impossible but if you take drugs and alcohol then yes you may have a problem but if you don't and have anxiety and you're around my age.. i can tell you it is very unlikely and that many doctors have been telling me but until your anxiety gets better you will keep worrying and it will keep causing it. But just cause it's there it doesn't mean there is something wrong

Raj.... sometimes when you have has in the stomach it feels like gas bubble close to the heart....the heart sits closer to the middle of the chest close to the digestive system.... If your prescribed or Over-The-Counter tablets aren't Wor for you the doc will prescribe something better for you.
You may also need to check the gallbladder which causes a great deal of stomach issues if you have gall stones. The doc should give you the best advice and care...if you aren't pleased with your results prescribed then give the doc a second chance to correct it.
..then you may need another doc second opinion if the second chance doesn't work. There are many doctors so one will relieve your pain issues....

The Stress Test, Echo cardiogram, And EKG are all reliability and validity test... but at times other test are required. Cardiologist are highly skilled doctors and give great care and concern to each individual patient.
There may be other issues happening here. Diet, weather elements, gallbladder, stomach issues, lung issues etc. If you're still having problems.... checkout the other possibilities.
Trust me when I say, if you have heart issues then you would definitely know it ...And rightfully so, never disregard pain, nausea, any discomfort..... As a congestive heart failure patient with a pacemaker/defibrillator all because of a heart virus. As the doc said, "Sometime in life I got a virus and it caused a heart virus. Just had a 53 year old female relative to have an emergency heart valve replacement...she felt healthy and and bam.
There's a lot that can be symptoms going in the body that can happen all of a sudden like a widow maker heart attack to trouble with food not feeling right in the stomach but finding out it was a gallbladder, liver, intestinal issue. You just got to get a good family practice doctor and from your case symptoms...that doc will know who to send you to and explain to you why....good doctor do that.....Your worry will cause further issues and definitely effect you in so many ways so go to a good family doc....if anything is wrong with your health they will get to the bottom to help you. From infections to any pain problem they check your blood panels and check the areas of pain then refer you to good specialist if needed.
