Hi, it's my first time here..as i was reading all this comments i felt some kind of relief!
i really thought that i was the only one feeling this way or that i could have cancer i was thinking the worst because nobody seem to tell me what i had, i have exact the same symptoms as mostly everybody here! PAIN ON MY WHOLE LEFT SIDE! My pain started about 3 yrs ago as i can remember. it starded in my knee i thought maybe because of my workout routine, so i didn't put much atteintion to it. As time passed it kept getting worst and worst, from my knee it went to the back of the leg then to the side of my leg, after that it went to my hip arm, shoulder, neck my face, eye and brain then least my chest and big toe! nothing on my right side!!! just LEFT!! i felt so weak! tired of not having enough sleep! around June 2016 i decided to go to the doctor to see if they could help me with some answers... they did some blood work even checked my heart bacause i was getting heartburns once in a while. They did a scan on my brain and said we found nothing! they just gave me medicine to sleep and muscle relaxers. It help me for a few days and from there it was the same so i decided to try another doctor to see what they could tell me because i knew i had something and the last doctor didn't find anything! so i went to a new clinic and they did another blood work, they found out that my Vitamin D was too low so im currently taking Vitamin D to see it that helps! i need one more to take next week and still feel the same so i know its not that. I was gonna ask to get an MRI on my brain but as i was reading all this comments i dont know what to do since everybody says that theres no cure instead i might just try going to massage therapist. i don't want to have all this bills so at the end they can tell me there is nothing we can do. I don't want to be living taking medicines i know it can even make ur boddy feeling worse so i just wanted to leave this comment here in case anybody finds out more about this sickness that we all have and have to live with. I am happy that i found this last night because i was really freaking out!! i started serching symptoms of Cancer you'all made me feel better! Thank you for sharing ur symptoms!

I had an exact symptoms for over 15 years. I went to johns hopkins, cleveland clinic, vanderbilt, all over the country and i even went to out country look for these mysterious hell. I was miserable 24/7. More I see doctors, they were throwing meds at me which led me to diabetes and evetually caused daily seizures likely it was wrongfully diagnosed (fibro, MS, polymyalitis, RA, eventually ALS). They were all wrong. Each treatment led me to more debilitating state. Eventually, one of the chronic illness fb group lady has approached (she is an angel) and shared her miraculously recovery. And introduced me to a practitioner, JL from Ohio. She uses tens of Russian medicinal herbs (she goes thr monthly to get the best kind) to detox and boost your immune system. She works with cancer, chronic debilitating lyme and autoimmune dz clients. She uses multiple tools to heal you. I know she works with international clients and ppl come and see her from all over the countries. I was 90% bedbound. I have been working with her for 9 months and I am 85 to 90% recovered. I have went back to school, i work out, and work part time. I owe my life to her. U should really reach out to her. I don't know she will take new clients as she is so busy all the time but she is extremely kind so she may. The down side to this is she has no website (i think one of patient has been offering to make website for her) and it is not cheap but I have been spending thousands of dollars per month already so it wasn't a loss on my end. I know she does skype consult so at least you should reach out to her. She is amazing. Best luck to all of you and god bless. Mon

It's coming from your neck.
I've been living with the exact same symptoms for years and have had every test under the sun!
It is frightening to see how GD dumb these so called Drs are ending up being these days!!
They cant/won't get to the root problem, all they know is to throw pharmaceuticals at you!
You have a misalignment in your cervical spine at some level and the nerves are angry !
Don't let it go for long....see if you can find a reliable safe chiropractor or therapist for the spine!

Hi Everyone,
I have this too. I'm so sorry you all are suffering out there, and most without a solid diagnosis. I've had pain on my left side for about 20 years now (I'm 40 years old) and have been diagnosed with "familial hemiplegic" migraine disorder only 2 years ago. Although I generally trust doctors, sometimes I don't believe this is a proper diagnosis of what I'm experiencing. For example when I get these migraines, there are all kinds of other side effects caused by my tense muscles which I don't think should be falling under the diagnosis of migraine (clicking jaw and shoulder blade, sore hip joint, cracking ankle and toe bones as well as sore spots on the surface of my body and most recently, a deformed and painful big toe on the left side (bunion)) in addition to the usual things like blurred vision and dizziness. I'm pretty sure headaches are not going to cause physical deformation - but no doctors believe it's anything other than migraine. I've been advised to take as much paracetamol as I need and there is nothing really else for it. Plus, to my horror, I can feel like this for weeks on end only for it to go away for a while and then reappear. I live a very heathy life style, so I am sure it's not something I am causing to myself. Which is the worst part - I keep trying different lifestyle changes desperately and can find no relief! I am aware of what can trigger the sympoms (stress, loud noise, etc) - but they aren't things I can easily avoid in my everyday life. I don't feel happy about constantly eating paracetamol either. I feel so angry that doctors can't give me a better explaination and of all the ones I've talked to - most want to downplay what a pain it is for me to live with. My greatest worry is that it's getting worse and left untreated, I'll turn crippled before long. I already feel so much older than I am some days, as I'm often limping around on pins and needles. I also had an MRI brain scan with no "unusual" results aside from some "abnormally large blood vessels" in the brain. Why would all of us here on this message board being having the exact same symptoms yet such a wide variety of (unsatisfactory) diagnoses? I'm convinced it's something yet undiscovered. Good luck to all of you and hang in there!

I have had the same kind of symptons as you and have gone to several physicians, physiologists and neurologist but I never found an answer to my pain. I went through several x-Rays too. They recently told me to get MRI of my brain.. the thing that helped me the most was going to a psychiatrist.. he told me that I was too stressed out and this pain was caused because I was keeping things in. In short go see a psychiatrist because it helps a lot.

I am 33 and have been suffering every detail of every symptom you mentioned, for about 6 years now I believe. No answers, no one can really comprehend what I go through daily trying to lead a normal life while in constant discomfort and pain. It's hard to explain it cuz it entails so many areas and could fall under different systems where it derived. I hope you get helpful answers because I need to know myself. Thank you for posting, I thought I might have been a rare breed for awhile lol

Hi. I was surfing the internet and i stumbled across this thread.. I'm having problems with the left side of my body - severe eye pain, knots in my back and shoulder, my leg aches and even my fingers! i don't know what to do and i'm scared of going to the doctor so he wouldn't diagnose me with something weird like "fibromyalgia". Any help, please?

The entire left side of my body has been in constant pain since 2001. While I was in a bicycle (me)/car crash in 2001, I feel like the pain should not continue for 16+ years. Upon my return, over the past 15 years, I've been in 3 more car crashes.
?I now live in the PHX area, where it super hot for 4-6 months of the year. I was fainting a great deal. I was told I have vaso-vagal syncope (low BP with fainting). On top of this condition, I have epilepsy, migraines, and colitis. I had always thought I was having a black-out seizure, but it was this fainting condition - or not?
?I'm on several Rx's now, and my pain continues. I passed out again in the grocery store a couple Sundays ago. It always tends to be on the left side that I fall on. My neurologist simply told me to drink more electrolyte drinks. I'm not a fan of them, but am forcing them down. I tend to fall on the left side on my body every time. I don't know why.
?Does anyone have similar issues? I'm starting to question whether or not it's syncope because I still have pain well after "my episode". I feel like I'm going crazy. I've gained tons of weight (>100 pds) because it hurts to work out, and have more trouble deciding to eat healthy. The past 2 weeks have been the worst (lately). Tylenol isn't working (I can't take Advil because of my colitis), and take 1 Butabutal, etc., at night time. I sleep on my right side, with my left side resting on a body pillow. It hurts to sleep.
?My family simply said "it's all mental"; "just push through the pain". None of them have any medical issues, so it's difficult for them to understand what I'm going through.
?Can anyone suggest anything? I'm trying to read the threads, , but it hurts to read information, as I experience pressure inside and around my eye. I'm constantly tired, too.
?Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Leslie

Hi Leslie,
I have been looking for answers to some of the symptoms I been having since a work injury, July 2017. I have all of the symptoms you have. I'm waiting to be seen by Neurology, which is about 3-9 months out.
The part of your post that really strikes me is the syncope. While I was in a swimming pool,( at work) I had one of these episodes. I didn't pass out. I felt a click or shock on the left side by my neck a collar bone and immediately, heart raced, I got hot but felt cold, tunnel vision, and could not hear. The entire thing lasted about 5 minutes. Since that time my symptoms have gotten worse and I have had numerous episodes like this. The latest was while I was driving. I know there is a connection with everything else that's going on, but Docs can't seem to figure it out. I'm beyond frustrated, fatigued & in pain. I too prop my left side on pillows to get relief while sleeping. I start acupuncture this week, as I lost hope in traditional medicine. I feel it's a guessing game for docs and trial and error with meds.
