45 male. 3 weeks of constant feeling of urine in head of penis - pressure. Urinating is a weak stream but get brief relief. Some hesitancy. No burn when urinating or pain anywhere else. No feeling in bladder just in the head of the penis. Going to the toilet a lot. Started after masturbating. All UTI, STI test negative. Painkiller and anti-inflammation pills don't work. Going crazy with the feeling. No previous penis trauma or surgeries. Had no meds. Dr won't give antibiotics as now infection noted.

A week ago I had a masturbation session in which I edged a couple times and it ended up taking a while to finish. Since then I am also experiencing the feeling of urine in the head of the penis along with the discomfort. I have no other pain and all of my tests have come back negative. Any suggestions?

My young friend
You will be fine. While you get older you will feel many things in your penis. Your body is still growing. Also being only 16 you are still going through puberty. It take a good 5 to 6 years for the body to get where you are going to be.
What you are feeling will come and go. Be safe...Ken

Hello.i have same problems for 3 months already and sadly they are getting worse.one suggestion a urologist gave me is a pelvic floor disfunction and interstitial cystitis.

I am having same problem for last 3 or 4 months. First I noticed pain in my left groin or testicle and frequent urination with burning sensation. But I wasn't getting the burning sensation straight away after peeing. It would take at least 1 or sometimes 1 and half hour to feel burning sensation or feel pressure on the tip of penis like its really hot. All my urine and blood test came back negative for uti and sti. Got ultrasound test booked for Thursday, lets see how that goes. Will try some advice on this thread. Not many people posting here any more which might suggest lot of people manage to recover from this problem which is good thing.

Hi, I'm 9 months in now and it went away only to come back recently. I had the most success from giving up Alcohol, coffee, gluten and dairy and working out. Ive had periods of it vanishing completely then just as i think I'm home free it pops up again although more mild. As I sit here now its like there's pee at the end of my penis wanting to come out, but if i go to the toilet nothing will come out. My whole groin feels moist/wet/cold but if i put my hand down there its bone dry.
It's got to be a nerve issue and I think certain, positions and foods exacerbate it. I did get diagnosed with possible prostatitis back in January so i don't know if that was the start of it. Maybe chronic prostatitis and i have flare ups.
But i didn't have any symptoms related to prostatitis (painful ejaculation, trouble urinating, burning, pain etc)
My symptoms started after i had an accident where my penis got injured/squeezed too hard and when i ejaculated i felt 3 electrical shocks in the shaft of my penis. Ive had these symptoms ever since. So its super confusing for me and any doctor i go to because i have in one hand this prostatitis diagnosis then in the other the penis injury and so its like, who knows which is causing it. Very frustrating.
All i know is, i gave up diuretics (alcohol and coffee) and it got a little better, i cut out gluten and dairy and within a week i noticed no issues at all. I got "glutened" at thanksgiving as well as ate some cheese that had diary in it (I thought it was dairy free) and I've been having the symptoms start up again since the day after. So maybe there is something to gluten in all this. But its just annoying as all hell.
Apparently doctors use PROSTATITIS as a catch all and its super rare to have a bacterial infection in the prostate. So pelvic floor disfunction , or a fungal infection or some other malady can just be suspected as prostatitis and they will put you on an antibiotic that does nothing. That's what happened to me.. i took an antibiotic and i had relief for about two days then it all came back. So who knows.
I'm going to schedule another doctors visit and not hold my breath, but the discoveries of food and alcohol making a difference may give them something more to chew on. Plus i now associate a bloating and an sensation in my anus when i experience this.
Let me know if you find anything out. Its very annoying.
Here's my suggestions to have checked:
Nerve damage
Gluten Allergy
Prostate
Pelvic Floor Issue
Internal Cystitis
Anxiety (apparently when were nervous our bladder muscles contract causing us to need to pee etc)
ANus related things like hemeroids, lumps etc
Maybe keep a food journal and see if theres any improvements.
For me a Bath or lying down fixes it, there's got to be a clue there, like its a slippepd disc or nerve, or prostate relaxing etc
I'm rambling, but good luck !

i keep thinking this could be gluten for me, now that you mentioned it i did try gluten free for first 2 weeks this past october and was relieved from the symptoms for 2nd half of october. at that time i was also doing pelvic floor tharapy and thought the relief was from the therapy but at the beginning of november it all came back despite doing the therapy. so it could be that not eating gluten could be the thing and after i introduced gluten again it eventually came back. will give it another trial, i dont do pelvic therapy anymore so it should be pretty clear this time.
i also agree on body position, for me, it goes away every time i am riding my bike and for a few hours after. even if i pee during bike ride and then ride again, i get some of the feeling for a bit and than it goes away. if i bee and dont ride the bike after the feeling stays, or fades very slowly for next hour or two.
i still do drink coffee and milk, i tried to go without for a while but didnt feel like it was making a difference. maybe i should cut out gluten and then coffee/milk as well

good morning all,
i'm not sure where this left off,but im glad i found this discussion board.
long story short, 35 y/o male and i had all the symptoms mentioned here, 2.5 months of feeling like i had to constantly pee in the tip of my penis. primary care and urologist found nothing wrong. it was impacting my quality of life, phycological state and sex life as i wasnt able to achieve hard erections.
finally my wife talked to my mom about what was going on, and turns out my mom and sister experienced the same thing. even though im male and theyre female, the urgency symptoms sounded identical, and they also showed nothing on UTI tests at the doctor as well. after being very persistant, my mom finally got prescribed an antibiotoc
that night my mom brought up her medicine and i took it and was essentially all cleared up in 2 days!!
what i took was:
Nitrofurantion Mono-MCR 100mg (Macrobid- an antibacterial for UTI and bladder infections caused by Escherichia coli or Staphyloccocus saprophyticus strains of bacteria)
Pyridium (AZO) - over the counter urinary pain relief
also ive been chugging cranberry juice and taking a cranberry supplement (cranberry apparently really good for the urinary tract)
after 2 days the urgency in the tip of my penis and sexual performance issues went away.
not sure if this will help you, but wanted to post about a success story.
be persistant with your doctors and i hope you all find relief, it is the most uncomfortable and maddening feeling in the world and i felt i was going crazy before taking these meds!

I really hope more guys in our situation find this forum because I was extremely uncomfortable and scared when I was first starting to go through it. I'm not completely finished but I feel close so I wanted to give my input. I've read everyone's experiences on here and I'm grateful for any and all info.
I believe there are two layers to this problem, first it being a UTI (and people assuming it's an STD or something else) and secondly, it's a nerve issue that can turn into an OCD thing for lack of a better way of explaining it.
Jeff62691 above is on point with his experience of meds and cranberry juice I believe.
My experience was it started on the weekend, got more and more irritating as I got more and more uncomfortable and nervous, told a couple of my friends about it and Google all the STD symptoms until I found this forum. In that time, I thought at one point if I got a erection and jerked off, the sensation would go away, which the first time was a huge relief, briefly. After that, less and less till nothing. Took antibiotics but drank beer so that was pointless.
My change came when I started a 2 day fast and stopped jerking off. It's been over a week since it's been maddening but I will say one da I felt like it was gone, then went on a date in the afternoon, while waiting, it was back full force. After she arrived and we started talking the sensation dwindled significantly, which is why I think its half mental.
Suggestions would be antibiotics and cranberry as mentioned above, no jerking off, lots of water but don't go too often. Hold it to a degree, not painful of course, and then let it flow but don't try to force a little more out.
Best of luck to all of you, thanks for sharing your experiences.
