Constant head pressure in the temples and eyes

I have had pain and pressure in my eyes and temples for almost a year now. My face feels fuzzy and tingly and I feel woozy a lot of the time. Nothing takes the pain away when it is really bad. Tried Tylenol 3's and oxycocet with no relief. The only thing that helped with the intensity of the pain was Inderal (Proponolol) which is a migraine prophylactic or a high blood pressure medication. It relaxes the blood vessels. Even on the medication I had times when I still felt woozy and my face felt fuzzy and tingly. I went off the Inderal for a while as it also impacted my Gastroparesis and I am trying Flunarizine another migraine medication but not having much luck. I still have the constant pain and pressure in my temples and eyes on both sides. MRI on the neck and head were both normal. Really frustrated as I feel awful pretty much every day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I used to get headaches every single day around 10am and I would not get any relief til I fell asleep. Absolutely nothing touched them--nothing prescribed or otc worked. I was also taking meds for depression and mild psychosis. When I had a recent bout of depression etc my meds were switched around (some doses lowered, some new meds added, some 'evicted from my life!). Only then did I get complete relief!(and only then..honestly I feel for you--I personally feel like headaches are a slow torture that no one really outwardly sees but debilitated you in your life!). Before the switch in meds my life felt like madness as absolutely NO THING helped)

Hello everyone,
i suffer really bad with health anxiety, I have a fear of death, which I developed over 10 years ago! Lately I constantly just want to sleep, I'm tired all of the time and I get pressure in my temples and eyes always feel woozy, it's an awful feeling. I just vacuumed under a table this morning and felt a sudden pressure in the side of my head which spread to my eyes making them feel sleepy!! Now I just want to go sleep again! It's a dreadful existence when stuff like this happens on a daily basis. Wish I knew what to do.

Hey Samantha, I deal with the same issues. I have a fear of some sort of medical condition. One day it's a brain tumor the next day I have liver cancer. I am a horrible hypochondriac. I have bad health anxiety as well. This has Ben going on for 8 years. Very overwhelming at times. You just have to remind yourself that everything is ok. And if you were dying you would already be dead at this rate. Stay away from caffeine, high sugars, marijuana, or anything that can trigger anxiety. In notes to the pressure feeling. You need to get checked for a deviated septum people. The symptoms can cause anxiety to where you can not function daily task normally. And because of that your insurance can pay to have it fixed. But THEY do not want you to know that. Exercise also helps tremendously. Especially cardio. Just go for a nice walk every other day. DO NOT LET ANXIETY RUIN OUR LIVES. We can do this guys. Everyone take care.

Hey lynn,
I will put it quiet simple if mainstream meds aren't working, medical cannabbis will definetaly help. Regardless of wat any individual may assume. If it helps and works it worth it.

Hello. Have you gotten any relief yet? I hope so. And I apologize in advance if what I have to offer is unhelpful. I have been having very similar pain as well. The pain on either side of my head is the worst. Five months now. My neurosurgeon suggested I receive specific injections in the soft tissue of the occipital nerve. I believe this is to treat what is called "occipital neuralgia." I got the injections which seemed to stop a throbbing pain that radiated from the right occipital region of my head to my scalp, however, the pain in my temples persists. But it is progress! There are several causes which could cause someone to develop occipital neuralgia so it might not be the correct modality for treatment in your particular case. For that matter, you might have already have been down that path.
Thanks. And if you have any suggestions of what helped please send them my way.

I am 38 yrs old and have been experiencing tingling/pressure/soreness in my left temple for a year. The symptoms sometimes radiate to the right temple or forehead. However, the symptoms on the left temple are constant 24/7. I have seen several specialist and had imaging done as well. It seems as the common diagnosis is Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have not tried any medications yet due to the fear of the negative side effects from them.. Have you had any relief?
