Constant head pressure in the temples and eyes

I have had pain and pressure in my eyes and temples for almost a year now. My face feels fuzzy and tingly and I feel woozy a lot of the time. Nothing takes the pain away when it is really bad. Tried Tylenol 3's and oxycocet with no relief. The only thing that helped with the intensity of the pain was Inderal (Proponolol) which is a migraine prophylactic or a high blood pressure medication. It relaxes the blood vessels. Even on the medication I had times when I still felt woozy and my face felt fuzzy and tingly. I went off the Inderal for a while as it also impacted my Gastroparesis and I am trying Flunarizine another migraine medication but not having much luck. I still have the constant pain and pressure in my temples and eyes on both sides. MRI on the neck and head were both normal. Really frustrated as I feel awful pretty much every day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi I'm new been suffering from what I can only describe as pressure in my face behind my eyes, bridge of my nose in my forehead and both temples I do feel something in my ears a bit irritating but not as much as my head, I feel dizzy kind of fuzzy and light headed at times, it absolutely petrifies me and it all started when I had a panic attack that left me shook for almost a month, I feel ok but I have moments where something just doesn't feel right and that's what kicks it off but now it's almost constant and I am quite worried!. Any help would be much appreciated thanks guys

I had this for almost 5 years. I had pressure and pain around temple area to over ear area, and would have burning eyes. I tried everything. I changed almost everything i ate, saw lots of different doctors thinking it was my eyes, my neck, my head, etc. Long story short, I started seeing a new regular doctor, and went in to see him about vertigo that i had had numerous times over the 5 years. I looked through my charts and talked to me a while, and ending up sending me to an ENT to test for Meniere's disease. I went that afternoon, and was diagnosed with Meniere's. The doctor told me to start by getting my diet under 2000 mg of sodium daily. Within 2 days, my headaches disappeared. I have now been on a low sodium diet for over a year and a half now, and the only times i get the headaches is when i endulge and have huge spikes in sodium intake. Not sure if thats what it is, but its an easy thing to test.

Hi Todd,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I just want to know what do you mean by getting my diet under 2000 mg of sodium daily.
Is it decreasing your sodium on food or tablet. I really don't understand. Please let me know as I am looking for something to relief my symptoms.
Many thank you.
Kind Regards,

I've read every response on here and was so glad to finally see someone mention Occipital Neuralgia! I've had constant head pain for 11 years but have taken Cymbalta and Flexeril most of that time, and that usually keeps it manageable. I've never been diagnosed as having ON, because I have other symptoms as well, but I've always suspected it. I did something while doing physical therapy for my back in December, and my head has been hurting pretty bad ever since. I've done a lot of research, and the possible causes I've found besides occipital neuralgia are trigeminal neuralgia and temporal arteritis (also called giant cell arteritis or GCA). You can have a combination of symptoms, and there are many different meds and treatments available. Everyone is different, so what works for one person might drive another person bonkers! It's pretty much trial and error. I'm going for my 3rd MRI tomorrow... Nerve problems won't show up, but it can rule out other things. My advice to those of you with those crazy kinds of head pains is to look these up online. (ON, TN, GCA) There's TONS of information and support groups!

I have had inflammation or tension in temples associated with blurred vision for 2 months. I had my head MRI scanned and the result shows I have sinusitis and oto- mastoiditis. The neurologist I went to see prescribed me antibiotic and other medicines such as sleeping pills, pills for psychological order and migraine reliever. Despite all these meds, I don't feel recovered at all. But continue feeling fuzzy and woozy in my head and face and neck stiffness. I stopped taking sleeping pills which makes my brain going nuts and crazy. Now I am meeting another GP who explained me the headache I have got is due to acute sinusitis. He has just described me another antibiotic and medicines. To be exact, the followings meds are given to me for 3 days;
1. Azithromycin Tablets USP 250mg.
2.Dexamethasone Tablet BP0.5mg.
3. 5H.T for stronger nerves.
And other associated medicines.
At the time of writing, I don't feel better at all. But continue feeling the same fuzzy, woozy, blurry vision, anxiety and other health worry.
But what I have decided to do is to do physical exercise such as running, swimming and joking which naturally relieve all God created human body.
