Hello,
I am in the same boat as you. I have tried everything. One thing I wanted to add is that perhaps your doctor needs to treat your yeast infection better. It seems that my UTI's return due to either yeast or a BV bacteria that would get into my bladder. No antibiotic worked, and I've suffered from those infections in addition to recurring UTI's for a year and a half until I had enough. I researched non-FDA approved method called boric acid suppositories, which is used in some European countries. I asked my doctor to prescribe it. After just a few days of use, I felt a relief I had not had in over a year. Note that boric acid is very toxic and must be used with caution. Also, the capsules must be prepared just for you.
Perhaps this information can be helpful.

Hi Anna,
Sounds interesting!! How did the boric acid work do you know? Are you in the Uk? I'm so desperate for help. I have severe yeast infection, but I can't take the doctors medication due to severe gastritis. I'm lost now!! I'm losing the will to go on. Please help.
All your comments would be gratefully received.

I've had many issues with Utis over the years but last year It was horrible.I had a UTI every 6 weeks....sometimes it had some e.coli but my urologist tested me for ureaplasma and it came back positive. She said it's usually found on the skin andwhen it gets into the bladder it's very hard to get rid of.I am allergic to sulfa drugs so she put me on a month of Erythromycin and it sucked but I haven't had any problems since!Have your doctor check for mycoplasma or eureaplasma....it's a specific test. Hope this helps!! Good luck!!

with Barley juice. is a derivative of , which is very good for killing micro organisms that cause cancer. Going to give it a go. Thanks. Has it worked for her. Someone mentioned pin-worms...I know sounds gross; she was from the UK. Hey, we all have parasites from the food we eat. I am changing my diet to fruit, veggies, and nuts. No wonder why our hormones are so wacky. Back in the day.....no one had these problems, my 90-year-old mother says. D'monnase I use for pre caution. MUST be in lots of water or it will make you nauseous

Just a heads up for those that are suffering from recurring UTI. One problem which a doctor I have seen said he noticed in a lot of his female patients was a narrowing or restriction of the urethra. A procedure is available which stretches it...it's a catheter which stretches it back to normal size. Apparently he has seen amazing results. It sometimes needs to be repeated as it is not always permanent. His comments were that as some women age, their bodies will change and if they start to get a lot of UTI's. If antibiotics are not working then this is a solution for some. I'm surprised that more doctors are not looking into it. The narrowing of the urethra apparently causes the urine to slow down and can pool causing bacterial growth especially in susceptible women. I had numerous infections when I was young. They cleared up through mid life and then resumed around menopause. I had a procedure recently where I had a spinal and had a cath inserted...low and behold I could actually pee properly for the first time in years. Who knew. It didn't last but a month, and am now struggling again with infections..but I am going to a specialist soon and asking for the full procedure if possible. Anyway..worth looking into. And by the way, Bactrim and Cipro are not the first choice for Antibiotics any longer. Many of the bacteria have become resistant.

Hello.
I had the urethra dilation procedure as a young woman and it worked for me! It had to be done once a month, then every other month, etc. I had it done at least six times over two years. This kept me free of uti for over thirty years!
That urologist said not many doctors are willing to do this procedure and my current urologist shuddered when I told her about it!
That first urologist is long gone or I would go back to him! Last night I had a lot of difficulty voiding after twp months straight of antibiotics! I believe in the urethra procedure!
I'm sure mine is constricted again.

Thanks for sharing, i'm worried that I am going to have a hard time finding someone to do it as well. I'm going to contact the doctor that recommended it. He probably has a name of urologist will do it.

Hope you can find a doctor and me too! I remember that helpful urologist told me most doctors don't do that procedure but that it works. I must say that It hurt really bad to get that done
And he never prescribed any antibiotics either! Go figure!

I have had similar issues for the past 2 years and nothing seems to work for more than a few days or weeks, at best. I have researched the benefits of aloe vera and currently taking it for intestinal issues with great results. I have read great testimonial of people healing IC symptoms with aloe vera. I am planning on taking aloe vera pills from for a few months. I will share any significant improvement.
