Hi guys (and gals please chime in if husband etc had same and how you treated)...

Had unprotected sex while back , think caused some skin trauma , and I used harsh products to wash it around that time too, so really not sure on exact cause

entire glans is very dry and looks bad , when moistured looks better, however the issue remains and is killing my confidence . negative for sti, tried a fungal cream and steroid cream and minor improvements .

i dont know if this is yeast, bacteria , none of the above .

the pics dont do it justice really , much crinkled and shiny (different to the normal wrinkles and creases) .l was with just water as seen on all the forums and dry carefully. but then letting it totally dry out, looks awful. coconut oil made it worse for some reason not sure if that a sign of something . had sticky under foreskin at time not sure why , reading can be the skin trauma from chemicals and the skin cells repairing but as enclosed etc ends up sticking

so please has anyone had this level ,and can tell me how you treated it ? (or the level of the other gentleman's case I put link to at bottom)

please someone tell me you had the same as me and the below gentleman and managed to fix it , been a long while now and it is very stressful! thank you

    I had the same issue. So I started washing the penis one day with dove soap and the next day with antifungal shampooing. I repeated the same process for 10 days. thank god the skin gets back to normalimage

      glad you found some help in that bud. why was it that shampoo instead of a fungal cream ? did doctor say the shampoo was better? cheers

      I didn't see any doctor. I already had the shampoo at home (using it as anti dandruff for my head) . so I was thinking if that not gonna working I will consult a doctor.

      I'm still fighting with a strange penile head situation, more soft if compared with this one in photos, but still not going away.

      The best solution was waiting. Time seems to heal it slowly, but stil NO DIAGNOSIS, after 12 doctors

    i happened to stumble across this thread while looking for something else and it was similar so i went threw it. anyhow not sure if this will help anyone but figure it wouldn't hurt to throw it out there as a possible solution because i no how desperate it can feel to fix issues with are pride and joy lol . to the point though so i was dealing with some spots of dry patches on my shaft that looked horrible even though it felt fine. problem started after a session in a tanning bed were i decided not to cover up with a sock as i usually do. anyway after trying everything i could order with no luck i saw a dermatologist who after a first failed attempt prescribed me " Tacrolimus Ointment" and low and behold with in a few days completely healed!! greatest feeling of relief ever! lol, good luck to anyone struggling.

    You guys are thinking to far . You probably have genital psoriasis . Check your elbows are they red too? Book appointment with dermatologist..

    im 15 same s**t happend to me, i can only rate to the original 2 pics. Like an hour ago i yk tried to and it was wrinkled and shinny and i tried putting water on it bother helped. Does anyone know what this is called???

    i am having same situation when my glans go erect to normal it goes wrinkly don't know how will it get resolved

    I am assuming when i used soaps it caused this and now i can't make it go back to normal even if if i don't care about this after many days its same

    I would get a western blot test for hsv2 .. sometimes hsv can be tricky to detect and it requires a few tests to be sure.. if its just a persistant hsv virus, a couple weeks of antivirals will probly be enough to put the virus dormant.

      Do you live in US? From where you can do western blot test for hsv2?

      Valtrex 500 2 times a day for 15 days. Consult a Doctor 1st.
