Thanks for all of this info- I can't concentrate enough right now to read it all. I've been on 200mg of Sertraline for well over a year and have been advised by my gp to reduce from 200 to 100 a day within three weeks. I've gradually reduced within that time but think I'm just starting to feel the withdrawals properly. Irritated. Tingles. Zaps. Really really tired. Awful headache. The list goes on. Gp is calling me today but what do I say when he thinks it's a reasonable thing to expect that big a drop in such a small time?! Thanks in advance

Anxiety Connection: There are many people who suffer not only from depression but also from anxiety. I am one of these people. According to the Anxiety Disorders Association of America: “Nearly one-half of those diagnosed with depression are also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.” I will be writing on Anxiety Connection starting this month and I hope you look for me there. So if you haven’t checked out this site before please come on over.

    Hi, Emis Moderator,

Another resource you may wish to add is a mobile app called 'Mind Your Mood'.  It is available on both the Google Play Store and the Amazon App Store (best from Google) and, best of all, is completely free.

It was written by a software developer who has also suffered from Major Depressive disorder - I confess, that person is me!

I'm offering it free in the hope that it may help someone in any small way, and the 18 months I was writing it would be worthwhile should that happen. I neither require, nor will ask for, any payment for this app.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message - remember, search for 'Mind Your Mood' (include the capital letters, otherwise Google Play gets a tad confused).

    All the best,

    Seb
