Dizziness, headaches, foggy, pressure in head & plugged ears

It's happening again, everyday it's the same thing and I don't know how to calm myself down. I think when ever I get these feeling I am going to pass out and die instantly. The dizziness gets so bad I have to hold my head and close my eyes I don't understand it. I always think I'm having a heart attack, stroke, blood clot in my head or cancer all the time because doctors still don't know why I get these symptoms. I get anxiety so bad because of the pain I get and I keep thinking the worse things. I keep thinking that i am getting the wrong diagnosis from the doctors and if I ignore the pain it is actually something serious then it's too late to do anything about it.

Tests that I got done in the last 3 years were: xray of my head and neck, mri of head, numerous blood work. I have done physio, chiro, acupuncture and massage therapy. Only thing that kind of helps is massage therapy which is what I am still doing now.

I am getting no answers and just worrying everyday. I just want these symptoms to go away I want my life back I don't feel like the same person anymore.

Havent received any news yet but ill let you know. I have a follow up this week. From what i see, we all have anxiety in common so the fear we feel might be attributed to that, i think we just have to understand that the body has its complications from time to time. The tingeling on the left side is a problem i share as well. Check to see if its a circulation problem. If you sleep on your side or have a tendency to sleep with an elevated pillow then that might be the cause too. I just got a better pillow and created a barrier in my bed to get accustomed to sleeping face up. It has helped in the last week. Dont worry to much, keep your appointments and try some home remedies like throwing vicks vapor rub in a boiling pot to inhale the fumes, it helps with the silent headaches.

Hi sorry I didn't get back to you two sooner. No news... I am seeing my doctor again this Thursday and have still been feeling the same. I will let you know if she tells me anything or runs any tests on me. Let me know how your visit to the doctor goes too!

I have alot of these same symptoms. Its been since the beginning of may for me. Started out with congestion, ears were clogged and full and nothing ive done has helped. Been on antibiotics, and steroids. Ive taken so much sudafed that it has no effect anymore. Making an appt to see an ENT hoping he can give me some answers.

Recently ive started feeling dizzy and somewhat nauseated. I hope this passes.

      Any luck with you??

I am having all of these symptoms. They came on suddenly May 7th and continue today. Some days are better than others.I have seen an ENT, 2 audiologists and have an appointment with nuerology in August. I pray that I will get some answers  so I can go back to a normal life again soon.

There are so many of us looking for this same information. Why can't SOMEONE diagnose this? I know I am suffering with this too. The only time I feel better is when laying down. It's been almost a year since this has gotten really bad, and still no doctors have any idea what's up. WHY? Do we have some new disease or something?

Hi Shihtzumom - this has been diagnosed.  See my earlier reply.  Its all part of migraine.  I know that sounds bizarre but its true.  Its caused by excess electricity in the brain stem and whatever it crosses, thats the weird symptoms you get.  Ive had this 4 years now.  GPs and ENTs dont know enough about it , if anything, you need a neuro.  Then its a matter of getting the right meds.  Im on fourth round of botox and gabapentin.  Its helped a lot. Not dizzy in day now just evening.  Weird head symptoms gone.  Its about the 9th med Ive tried.  I only feel better lying down too.  Go onto facebook website - Vestibular Migraine Professional and/or MAV migraine associated vertigo.  You will see all the symptoms are exactly the same as yours.  I found it hard to believe at first but the more you study it and the conferences you attend, you will see its correct.  So it has been diagnosed and all the info is out there.

I have been taking 200 mg magnesium morning and night for a couple weeks now and am feeling a bit better. Not as unbalanced, though I still fall sideways at times if I move too fast. I have a lot of post-nasal drip though, so am taking decongestants for that. My head isn't squeezing me like it was.

Did anyone suggest drinking magnesium, using a powder? This was suggested for my migraines, wondered if it would also help with feelings if vertigo.
