does anyone have these symptoms?

Hi there

I have always had a bit of a dodgy stomach but for the past year or so i have been diagnosed superficially with oes reflux

I get worried that there missing something

i get pulsing in my stomach which radiates up my chest to my head so my whole body pulses, i get dizzy and my legs sometimes fell weak and that i'm walking like the man in the mr soft advert!!

the worse is the breathing, its like i can't get air in my lungs, like something is pushing up from my diaphram and pushing the air out and then like someone has there hands on my neck, i have to lie down and breath no matter what i'm doing as i feel i might pass out, i also get very itchy like i'm uncomfatable in my own skin!

CAN IT REALLY BE THIS BAD. cause if it is i can live with it, but i'm so scared its something else and i'll be found dead from a heart attack or something (i'm 35 years by the way)who will look after me dogs then LOL

any response appreciated, just want to know that i'm not alone!!

    I had all of the problems that you described, the breathing, not enough air getting into lungs was a huge problem along with palpitations, thought it had to be something awful. My earlier post explained what has changed everything for me.

    I realise that for me it was my eating causing reflux and the problems.

    Hey There! 

    My name is Savanna and i want you to know your not ALONE! over the summer i took a alergy medication that caused my to have high levels of anxiety. i was very scared when i got these so called "panic attaks" cause i didnt have anything like it before... NOW i have finally after 1 1/2 year of these breathing issues, dry mouth, empty feeling, kinda gaging... i have found a Dr. who diagnosed me with VCD, this sounds alot like what you have and i am terribly sorry, i couldnt imagien going back to the begining. i have visited the emergency room more than once and almost got hospitilized over night. these were all because i paniced so i want you to know there is always a diagnosis and i would like you to always remain calm during these episodes. (episodes: meaning when you get it worse than normal) i hope u figure this out and i recomend you visit a allergist or pulmonologist! Just to let you know how this effects me is... i play soccer and we are just in that age where you start to get watched by collage coaches.

      Hello Savannah,

      I am unsure if you are replying to me or someone else, but I have been chronically breathless and unable to do ,much, because of my breathless and fatigue, since haveing a motor accident 5 years ago, Everything is a struggle for me. The Doctors diagnosed me with Emphysema, because I couldnt blow strong enough in the spirometry test. However because i have Crohns disease (can manage this now) have always chronic heartburn, burning throat.........also have just found out I have both kidneys shrunken, and have cysts in both. However the breathless is the worst thing for me, as my quality of life is now very low, where previously played Lawn Bowls twice per week.

      I was on Prednisone when I first contracted the Crhons Disease which was 45 years ago, I can manage that with Aloe Vera Juice, I have cut out salt and Bananas for my kidney disease, but still cannot remedy the breathlessness.

      I would be most grateful if I could get some help, as Drs, dont seem to be able to help me, as all the different Inhalers I have tried are of no use to me now. Breo Ellipta did help me for 6 weeks, but then no more.

      I do not have any quality of life left always too tired and breathless to do ,much at all.

      Hello Carmwoman, please can you explain what Emphysema is to me, and the symptoms you get because of it?

    Have you had a CT scan of the abdomen? The pulsation worries me if it's true pulsation seems If it were me I'd worry about a aortic aneurysm, should get checked.

    Your not alone i have the same things happening to me as well and they keep telling me acid reflux im on medication but it doesn't seem to helpi have to watch everything i eat and drink and even then im in pain here lately

      I keep researching on the computer day and night looking for an answer, because i cannot breath strongly into the Spirometer when i am tested they say it is Emphysema, I really dont think they can see a good photo of your Lungs and the villi in them. I think my problem is something to do with acidity, because i have had a lot of operations on my small bowel, due to Crohns Disease.

      I have had my heart checked out, and I have got Chronic kidney Disease, I have just found out from having 3 attacks of Gout in my knee.

      Hello clorissa 75489..I also have acid reflux. I could not eat or drink anything without pain. After a year of chewing antacids which did not take th pain away, My MD put me on Nexium. . I take only one on the morning. I also wait about 15 minutes and then I drink my coffee. It is convenient. If I experience any kind of stomach pain, I take Mylanta. It also stops gas by breaking up the bubbles. This is totally manageable. My quality of life is good now. I hope this helps. I did have a complete blood work up, chest X-ray because I cough. Even though they all came out normal I had reflux and post nasal drip into my upper respiratory system. So he prescribed a nonsteroid nasal spray. I have known my MD for 14 years. It is essential that you get your MD to consider your problems and work a program for you. I hope this helps you.

    Hi Guest sorry about your situation. I have the same symptoms of severe difficulty in breathing whenever the reflux comes, have taking some drugs for acid reflux but it doesn't help. Have you been able to deal with yours?

      I have severe difficulty with Breathlessness, I cant do much at all, without gasping for breath, especially if I bend over i cant do anything for about 10 minutes.

      I have other problems too, but this breathlessness is the worst thing, it is a big effort for me to just to get dressed.

      I have had 3 resections of the small bowl due to Crohns disease, which has left me with severe Burning throat and Chronic heartburn, so bad sometimes i cant talk, I lose my voice, however the Breathlessness is the worst thing for me, I do not have any quality of life now. I live on Quickeze soft chewey ones, and now am on Ranitdine.

      i have the severe breathlessness all the time, even when my throat is not so bad.

      They say its Emphysema, because i used to smoke, but I feel it is the acid from the heartburn dripping into my lungs. You get severe breathlessness with Emphysema, however I think mine is from the Acidity.

      ok, I have the same symptom if breathlessness, an mine was even serious that I had to be rushed to the hospital on 2 occassions

      we have same problem, really drugs doesn't help it worsen. this is much you try unicity product just chcek or reaserch probionic for reflux, legend tea for acidity and blood cleansing and also clorophyll powder to balance your ph level, and check also double stemcell of phytoscience to heal all the damage inside. i think this combination will solve your problem all of that is natural organic and safe.

    I have very similar side effects. It feels like my stomach acid is getting into my whole entire body. My vision is blurred. I feel raw everywhere in my body. It's very difficult to breathe. Towards the top of my belly feels raw and stiff. I always have fogged brain. My whole entire body feels like crap. I feel like i'm slowly dying. My head feels claustrophobic. I'm scheduling a appointment today to get the pillcam done. It's a tiny little capsule that you swallow that has a tiny camera inside to take pictures of your intestines while it goes thru your whole system and then you just poop the camera out and into the toilet and flush it. You also wear a little monitoring belt to record the photos.

      Hi Cody, did you get the capsule you were going to ask for, when you say swallow does this mean through an endoscopy. I have heard about it and was wondering if you had it done? Thank you!
