Does this look like Genital Warts or Vestibular Papillomatosis? ***GRAPHIC PHOTOS***

My bf cheated on me with a woman in Feb who he says is getting tested for HPV. I noticed these finger like tube things on my vulva or inner labia last week. I checked everyday and they weren't there until Wed. or Thurs. of last week. I'm currently awaiting my results from my full panel STD test I took two Saturday's ago. I'm worried they're warts but from what I've seen they don't look like warts. What could they be? They started in a like a circle but now go down in like a line. I have another app. with my doctor tomorrow to take a look at the lesions. I got my period so please be warned, the photos attached are extremely graphic!

no its not the same as herpes u wont be able to have unprotected sex for at least the first 6 months after treatment they are spread by skin to skin contact it can take 2 years sometimes longer for your immune system to rid itself of hpv but the warts will need to be removed herpes is lifelong hpv warts are not

heyy you all. i'm interested in your opinion since i noticed itching and burning feeling while peeing a few days ago. i checked my vagina and found this. it's linear and simetrical found on both sides labia minor. I went to see a dermatovenerologist and she took an HPV samples and insisted I had warts. does it look like it? in my opinion and based on all the features it looks more like VP to me.. i'm gonna look for the second opinion but still feeling very anxious

can the bumps from vp symptoms be removed?

    • Posted

Hi.. The same thing I was wondering too.. I've read of persons who decided to laser them off but afterwards they appeared again so I am kind of reticent. I don't know about other women, but I am so self conscious about them that it is depressing. And I wonder if I just let them be if they appear more or grow in the future if they will not cause more problems.. Hmm what do you think?

If you do have them removed, could you share your experience with us? I'm considering it too

Heey hi, sorry I didn't answer more sooner but I have forgotten my password 🤦‍♀️ I didn't try to remove them. I went to a third doctor but he said that they are not condilloma. So I think that it is vp. It was a relief but I still struggle with them. I hoped that they will disappear like miracle but no they are still there. But what is weird is that some times they look smaller or seem to appear more. If you have vp you tried something to make them disappear?
