I suggest trying a moderate habit (by which I mean eg twice a week). You must have done some blood vessel damage, but surely this should heal with time, but only if you have periods of moderate activity and times of rest - as with any injury on any part of the body?

Don't answer if these questions feel too intrusive:

Are you circumcised? Did/do you use lube? How long was your x6 per day habit going on? Why so frequent?

I've heard of this with teenagers, but am surprised you were continuing that way in your early adulthood. Didn't you make yourself sore? I've always advised young men not to worry how often they masturbate (if asked), - that if they are listening to their body they would know to ease off. (I'm a retired Psychotherapist and Social Worker in UK). However, your posting is making me question my thinking!

      Hello,

Thanks for replying. Yes, I am circumsized . no lube used ever. in 2014, it was going for the past 4 days. i was helping myslef during morning to relieve the morning wood, which is how and when this culminated.

      Not a good move!

I've always found the best way to relieve morning wood was simply to get up, urinate and have breakfast! It's never felt the same as true sexual arousal - just a physical reassurance and mild inconvenience, best ignored.

have you heard of anyone else going thru the same? my penis has become thinner and skin is all loose

As I'm in the UK, it's easy for me to see a doctor, even if I have to wait some time - I don't have to pay anything. I guess if you are not in a good health scheme you may have costs involved, but in your position I would definitely want to get medical advice with this problem. Even if they can't help you restore your previous sensitivity and function, there are many options - medicines, injections and implants which can at least help your erectile functioning for when you have a partner.

I haven't yet heard of others having such an extreme result as you. Please see a doctor.

Have you seen a sexual health specialist as you seem to have tried various medical / health interventions?!

Can you confirm how frequently you are masturbating each day and per week?!

I do have some techniques where you can take back control of your masturbatory practices, and at the same time make these more relaxed and bring about a focus on pleasure and relaxation!

This would likely take an extended period of months before you began to feel any real benefit.  Would you be prepared to put in the sustained effort for long enough to try and achieve this?!!!

The whole process may restore your spontaneous / morning erections as this is something I experienced and I was able to resolve my problems after an extended period of effort to get everything I had going wrong sorted out!

So, I would suggest your sequence of what to do is this: i.) try to see a sexual health specialist; - then ii.) you need to decide for yourself whether you want to bring about a total change in you view your sexual / masturbatory practices?  this would require 1.) extended and sustained effort over a period of many months; 2.) the determination to bring about a total change in why you practice masturbation and for YOUR practices to become about self-pleasing, leaning to be relaxed, AND for you to take back control and say to yourself: (after the sustained effort I'm talking about!) "I do not NEED to masturbate today!, I do not need to ejaculate on the days I do masturbate!!, I decide what happens - I HAVE the CONTROL over this!!!"

Want to try down this road to control rather than being "super frustrated"? ........

Hi, the only suggestions I can offer is to merely repeat what others on here have said to you directly, previously.  What you most likely have is the simple version of balanitis, alternatively psoriasis or something that is causing a constant irritation to the head area of your penis.  ONLY by following what the information states, 100%, can you begin to eliminate the cause of what you actually have.  By putting everything in place you should start to see improvement and will likely just go away eventually.  This will take a number of weeks, and perhaps even months - you need to remain vigilant about the hygiene practices you have with your penis, ONLY this way will your penis become healthy again.  Perhaps you can do your penis a favor by giving it an 'excercise holiday' - reduce the number of days you masturbate drastically - you need to be kind to your penis, ease back on the pressure you use during your strokes.  SIMPLY: be good to your penis and you will help it become healthy again!!!  HERE IS what has already been stated that I 100% endorse, AND you must put in the effort to read through it all, and put the measures in place 100% ....

      >>> these links may help:  https://patient.info/health/balanitis-leaflet

      (written for doctors)

Washing (with water, no soap) daily, and taking a leak and washing after masturbation or sex will probably help, and you could also try Canesten cream or Daktarin cream.  Loose fitting cotton underwear may help, and some sites recommend washing underwear with non-biological washing powder or liquid.   <<<<<

MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS LINK:  https://patient.info/health/balanitis-leaflet#nav-4 - you may not identify with the person that is the Doctor in the video, but what she is stating is 100% legit!

      Good Luck ......

Hi, if we are going to make progress and I ask you questions I need to have the answers on them - otherwise this is going to become a process of repeating the same things again and again!

Are you willing to do this?  If so, please answer what I have already asked: -

    > Have you seen a sexual health specialist as you seem to have tried various medical / health interventions?!

     - Is it possible for you to see such a specialist?

Can you confirm how frequently you are CURRENTLY masturbating each day and per week?!  And, when you do, do you always ejaculate?  AS WELL AS THESE, can you tell me: -

    > Are you working / have a job?  > Are you an active person, do you do any sports regularly, or leisure activities where you are active on a regular basis, such as swimming, cycling or even just walking where you do this for 2+ hours at a brisk pace. or, anything like this?  If you are NOT doing any of these things regularly, is it possible for you to do some, or build on doing one of these, to eventually do several?!

    > How would you describe your weight: are you slim / of athletic build, slightly overweight, considerably overweight, very overweight?

    > Do you live on your own?  How were you able to masturbate 6 times a day, was there no one else in your house / place that you live during these times?

*I found one of the best things to take my mind out / away from the practices that were not helpful to me was to do regular excercise such as cycling.  To start and learn how to relax and take your thoughts away from needing to masturbate you need to relax your body and mind?!  So, for my relaxation I started to do Yoga and Pilates every week!  At home, I created "me time" - take a relaxing shower, perhaps use incense to create a different feeling in your own bedroom, or a particular room you can use on your own where you can relax each time!

    > Do you think you would have the determination do do things like this on a regular basis and create a different atmosphere in the place where you live?!

    > Can you set yourself challenges and rise to meeting them?  So with what you find has really been most unhelpful for the health of your penis - the frequency of your masturbation that is, would you prepared to set yourself challenges and rise to these to actually achieve them?  So if I said I don't want you to ejaculate for 1, then 3, then 3 days:

    > Do you think you could really achieve this?  Would you have real determination to do this?!

    * Would you be prepared to do internet searches and put the things I suggest into practice?  For example, please research "Kegels for men" and tell me:

    > At the moment, can you see yourself doing these kinds of things regularly?  Do you see any link with this and your masturbatory practices?

No?  Think, control! Think about YOU deciding you are not going to ejaculate and having the physical capability of not ejaculating!

AS I SAID IN MY initial response - do you see yourself as having sufficient determination to start achieving different things, so you can once again help your penis to become healthy again and to do these things for as many months as it takes?  If you are not sure:

    > Do you think you COULD start and change things for yourself?

** Over to you - tell me what YOU are prepared to do to bring about change?  And, can you challenge yourself sufficiently to bring about a health penis for yourself, no matter how long it takes?

Why do you say that? If Wee Dugie has been through something similar and helped himself why not give what he recommends a try?

Hi, can I just detail where I think we are with your condition so that you may reflect on this so that you can make a CHOICE of whether to move forward in improving your penis health, or for you to stay as you are now:

      > Pepasan has already given you some excellent responses, both by way of comment, and, by detailing the recommendations of what you should do.

      > My situation and MY detail, AND comments and recommendations in the two responses I have given to you so far are based on my personal experience from the age of around 17 through to what I am now at 61 YOA.

In brief, I have dealt with: 'discovering' I had a relatively small penis (indeed, my screen name of "Wee" is a Scottish word for small), an inability to retract my foreskin (I am still uncircumcised), and inability to obtain or maintain an erection when I was around 30YOA.

It has taken me until the last 2 years (i.e. 59YOA+) for my penis to look like an normal adult penis when fully erect.  When I started at 17, there were no internet forums, and I certainly would not go to a Doctor or other medical professional to get expert help.

As you may gather, the effort I put in had to be sustained over many decades - and I had to consider AND put in place things that were not directly related to my penile health: such as how to relax, doing other things that were pleasurable to me, and, gave me something that would both benefit my body, my health and my mind!

In terms of my direct penile health: turning masturbation from something I had to do quickly and ejaculate as soon as possible, to 'get it over with', every time, to being something that was very relaxed, pleasurable, AND something I could choose when I masturbated AND whether or not I would actually ejaculate.

For my entire penile health: I got the condition I had from early childhood diagnosed by medical professionals, the right medication put in place, and, I still HAVE to continue this medication every day, even now.

So that I could re-gain and maintain my erections, the temporary 'cure' was to use a c**k ring (I bought the first ones, I make my own I use now) - later I used a penis pump / developer, which, I still have to use regularly, and use it extremely carefully as my surface skin and penis 'internals' injure and damage very easily.

To totally transform the way I saw and practiced masturbation, I learnt about kegels as some people call them, for men, and I use this so I can stop myself from ejaculating after 2 minutes, so that now I can use, very relaxed self-pleasuring for way in excess of an hour to an hour and a half on each occasion.  ALL of this (stated above, and in my 2 previous responses to you) and much more, I HAD to do to overcome the problems I had with MY PENIS.  Now, I am happy with my sexual practices, and very happy with the pleasure I obtain from this!!!!

*There is a very simple principle in life:  you only get out from it - based upon the amount of effort you are prepared to make ...

Essentially for you, as I and Pepasan have previously stated, you need to obtain the expert help of the correct medical professionals, put in place their recommendations 100% - ONLY after that, you need to do all the hard, and sustained effort yourself so that your penis becomes healthy again.  Simply, no effort = stay as you are .......
