Everyday dizziness while walking, standing and feeling unbalanced on my feet.

I have dizziness everyday while walking, standing as well as feeling off balance, unsteady on my feet like I am gonna fall over. I have had my ears checked by an ENT doctor in 2014 and he said I had menieres disease so he treated it as that but medicine didn't help so went to another ENT doctor in 2015 who said I don't have menieres disease but have hearing loss in both ears and did a test on my vestibular function which he said was normal so he referred me to a neurologist and I went and had an MRI done which was normal as well. I have had blood work done in November last year and my white blood count was a little high but not concerning and everything else was normal....no diabetes. Also had a stress test done on heart and was normal. I am at my wits end with this cause I don't know what's going on. I plan to see an eye doctor soon. Oh and I was diagnosed with anxiety 4 months ago but this dizziness and off balance feeling has been going on for 2 years now. I am on blood pressure medicine too. don't know what else to do. Does anyone have these same symptons ?

I've had the exact same thing going on for 6 weeks straight. Lightheaded, unbalanced, can't focus right. I'm at my wits and getting frustrated. Had a CT scan, normal. Bloodwork is normal, did a hearing test and balance test. Waiting to hear back on Tuesday coming up. No medicine has worked so far. What did doctors do to you as to explain what's going on and are you still the same? Would love to hear some input from you

      Unasked,

Were you sick weak and vomiting too? If not it may be a vestibular problem.

I wasn't sick or vomiting. Very few times felt nautious. I think it has gotten to the point where last sunday, monday, tueday, and Wednesday night I only had 2 hours sleep most all 4 nights. Took a unison Thursday and Friday night and it helped me go to sleep. Don't know if it's related tho. I just don't wanna go through all these test and find out that there no diagnoses yet. Don't know what to do

I had a lot of trouble with being dizzy and short of breath. Everything came back negative. I got physical therapy for vestibular neuritis. Even though I presented atypically, I think it helped me. I saw an "otologist," a neurologist and ENT.

      Good luck!

I have had this for years.  My doctor figured it is symtoms of pre menopause.  I felt so dizzy that I was worried I would have to give up driving.  He put me on clonidine.  It manages my dizziness most days.  I might have a bad day 10 timesa year.  I take an extra pill and in about half hour am ok again.  Hope you get this under control, it is very overwelming and sometimes difficult for others to understand.  good luck!

Hello Dana....... I am sorry that you dealt with that for years. It can be overwhelming at times especially when it is everyday. Did your primary doctor give you the clonodine or was it a psychiatrist ?
