Hi there. Ok first of all get your self a paper bag. NOW !! Breath into the bag!! In  & out. But slowley. Have you ever thought of chill out music ( relaxation? ) Spend time on your self. Ask a reflexologist to come and give you a treatment. regards Amandah

Hi I know the feeling. But at least you have got the next 4 days off. What meds are you on? Do you have a support Gp? Hope you rest over the weekend. regards Amandah

Hi, ive been reading your comments to rhianna, i too have been suffering from anxiety (so the docs say), ive been numerous times complaining of horriblehead pressures, shooting pains and a dull, dull ache at the back of my head. Its gone on for 5 weeks now with no let up, its distressing, disorientating and i feel spaced out. Im just started 10mg amatriptyline, they say it,ll take a week or two to kick in, painkillers do nothing, ive been having a few reiki treatments which is good, but the head is always there, i just want to be normal again!!!. Does anyone else suffer from the same symptoms?

Hi ten, thanks for your reply, comforting!, ive been to a few docs lately, now im on amitryptiline (1 week), feeling a little better, less head pains, tried to be more positive, telling myself to keep calm, had a few reiki sessions, really helpful too. Went to a chiropractor to see if i had probs with the neck, yes i have a few, but not really relevant to the headpains, so, yes stress and anxiety it is, but feel better tackling it all head on, cant wait to feel normal again, battle on!!. You take care too. Be good!.

I know, there are lots of us that feel that, i did last year, headpains id never had before for 5 weeks, the doctor could see i was distressed so sent me for an mri scan, results were fine, headaches went!!, they have come back, one month ago, now, after reiki and trying to be normal, having to do my job, being told by docs its stress and anxiety(ive been through a lot for 4 last years) , im on 10mg of amatryiptiline and a lot of talking to myself, i feel better day by day. Have faith in yourself, you musnt think you have all illnesses, its stress thats affecting you, so try tackle that and that alone then the other things will go in time. X
