Feel like something stuck in my throat

i am so sorry in your condition .But don't be panic.i have had this problem,( same symptoms). For almost 6 months and experiencing swallowing difficulty too.when my dr. told me to do a pre cancerous test, I was also very nervous,( upper endoscopy) but when the result came,it was normal and nothing wrong with that, he said it is only because of acid reflux disease.he suggest some medicines and I followed up.But he also suggested a barrium swallow test too..but I didn't go for it.Almost 6 months and even still I am only able to eat soft food instead of normal sand which and other things.But now a days I don't even care about this swallowing difficulty.i just eat my foods without any hesitation.Just understand that I am in my 25(even not yet married too).But I don't care whatever it is...just follow our life like in a normal. Be brave and live.

I have developed similar symptoms in the last two weeks (the feeling that something is stuck in my throat at the base of my throat, and it's periodic). Acid reflux just began one week ago. I believe I have a hiatal hernia, but no one on this thread seemed to have this diagnosis. I'm going to see a surgeon Wednesday. I have also had allergies lately, but the feeling of something in my throat and the progressively worse acid reflux are unlike anything I have ever experienced before. 

Does anyone else who suffers with this sensation of a lump snore? I have only ever snored when I have been pregnant. Then recently from out of the blue I started to snore, every night! It's quite unattractive really!! I found a herbal spray which helped but I don't like taking it too often in case it stops working! Anyway, last month I started to get heartburn again something I haven't had since pregnancy, a sore throat and now I feel like something is lodged in my throat. I did a cleanse a few weeks ago and it disappeared but now my diet is normal again the lump has returned - not the reflux yet though; Im certain this is linked to the cleanse. I have a GP appointment this week, I'm generally a well person but have been lethargic of late too. Any ideas?

1 a day make it go away , your body is releasing low level hystamine TRUST me dont pay for tests EXPENSIVE and takes ages I was clear of all allergies but my body tempeture caused my body to attack itself and I would get Globus , its a mild throat closing nothing dangerous just annoying , Iv been taking this anti hystamine tablet never came back... I just take one every day non drowsey stay away from benadryl makes you drowsey . or you can take one NOW any anti hystamin tablet will work. let me know and others here if it helped, let me know here is if works for you ! so others can try .

So for about two weeks the left side of my neck right around Adams apple area is sore with a dull pain associated and a constant feeling like when you are about to cry and there is a lump in your throat. Feel like its hard to catch my breath sometimes to. Oddly there is no additional discomfort when eating or drinking anything. The area may be slightly swollen but from looking at me you wouldn't notice. Swallowing spit seems difficult. I'm so confuses. I'm 25 years old, I'm very rarely sick. No health problems,and very fit. Please help.

well.....hi guys , just to let you guys no the conclusion on this problem and the discussion....i have been facing the same issue from last 4 month change very quickly my 4 docters , bcoz i did find them doing any better.

                      so what i went to one of most know gov. hosptital ent department.they said that this is something that is acid reflux caused ulcer . and i have been taking the medicince from last month and 10 days , find it giving releif .after the time of start taking  the medicine 10-15 days u will see the effect . that

problem will start changing. and after a month or so it will fell like that the stuck feeling will go away but you will feel like iching in the throat.

try to take as soft food and more alkaline food .....so recovery can be soon be patience and careful a bit.

Any newsies have similar for feeling like you can feel good sliding down or a constant pressing right at the bottom of throat almost between collar bone? Any info pls

I had a similar thing, but im 13 and it started like 2 days ago. Everytime i swallow, my neck starts to ache and stuff and my ears feel popped. Everytime i eat, it feels like ill choke and it burns. It feels like a bunch of food is clogged at the back of my throat or throwup that just wont come out. I have a feelin theres a cloggage, but i bet there just isnt. I remember i was eating food and my neck started burning badly. Anything? Also my voice sounds weird like im sick with the cold. I have a feeling its blockage of the mucus.

I have that same feeling and it is eating me up ...I am totally freaking out

So about 2 months ago I had this feeling of a pill being stuck in my throat on the left side . I tried to swallow, hack a lung lol cough hard and nothing "brought it up". Its still there, has not gone away at all. Does not move ever. I take meds in the evening and one evening it felt like one of those pills actually got stuck on whatever this is in my throat and I almost choked but managed to cough the med back up. At the time I went to see the doc I had a sinus infection so I had antibiotics and when I was finished went in and said that thing is still there. They checked and didn't see or feel anything so they sent me away with nasal spray. Came back in 2 weeks and it was still there and they seen nothing again.

Just had an ultrasound and nothing was found. So now I am going for a barrium swallow. In the meantime, I have been getting nasty heartburn and severe sore throats. And I'm freaking out it might be cancer because I am a smoker and have been for many years.

I'm so scared or feel like a psycho of there isn't actually anything there. Uuggggg
