I'm posting this info everywhere because I want as many people to see it as possible. There are studies showing that Activated Charcoal helps to remove prednisone and other corticosteroids from the body faster. I've only been taking it one day and already see a difference.

Update: It's been 24 hours since my first dose of activated charcoal, and the side effects of the steroid drug literally feel half as strong compared to 2 days ago. It's been 21 months since I got a single cortisone injection and had severe side effects ever since. I can't believe this is real, seems too good to be true.

Day 3 of activated charcoal. I could feel the steroid side effects building up in my body this morning, and felt like it was going be a typical bad day with non-stop side effects all day long. I took 3 grams of activated charcoal on an empty stomach, and within half an hour the drug side effects started calming down. This is really working.

For the first time in 21 months since the cortisone injection, I just made it through an entire day without getting any severe side effects. This is incredible. I highly recommend everyone try activated charcoal.

Warning: taking activated charcoal on an empty stomach caused diarrhea for me. This is my new regimen:

I've been experimenting with different doses and frequency, because the cortisone is constantly circulating from the blood to the liver to the small intestine a little bit at a time. I'm taking activated charcoal in capsule form. You're also going to need oats or oat-based high fiber cereal. It's high in soluble fiber, prevents diarrhea and constipation from the charcoal, and it acts as a sponge to soak up both the charcoal and cortisone so the drug can be neutralized.

      This is the regimen:

-When you wake up take 1g of activated charcoal. Immediately eat a very small bowl of oats or oat cereal. Do this every hour for the next 6-8 hours.

-You need to drink a lot of water to prevent dehydration and constipation from the charcoal.

-Take a multivitamin at night because the charcoal also depletes vitamins from the body. If you take any medication take it at night also as far away from the charcoal because it also interferes with it.

-Start with a smaller dose to see how much your body can handle. I may increase the dose of charcoal in the future.

-I also experimented taking the charcoal on an empty stomach every hour. It worked quite well except this causes diarrhea.

-Last point, either use water or a very small amount of milk with the oats. I read that milk can reduce the effectiveness of the activated charcoal.

Don't expect an overnight cure. The cortisone is spread throughout all the fat tissue and blood in your body. It takes time for it all to circulate through the liver and small intestine where the charcoal can bind to it before it's reabsorbed into the blood.

Also, please report back on how it worked for you. I'm seeing huge improvement.

Also a warning I forgot to add, the activated charcoal can reduce the effectiveness of any medication you're taking. It's best to take medication as far away from the charcoal as possible, either a few hours before first dose before or 5 hours after last dose.

Good news. Taking the activated charcoal every hour with a small bowl of oats with water prevents the diarrhea. In fact I think it's working even better this way than on an empty stomach.

Update: I think tablet form works even better than capsules. It takes longer to start feeling the effects but it's longer lasting.

It's making a big difference. Also you don't have to eat oats every hour, just make sure not to take it on an empty stomach but also not on a very full stomach, but oats is really good to have in the stomach as well to help digestion.

Honestly I don't know if taking it with oats every hour reduces the effectiveness, in hospitals it's given on an empty stomach. I eat oats throughout the day to prevent digestive issues though. I've also increased the dose up to between 3-9 grams every hour.

Update: I got activated charcoal in powder form and have been taking a much larger dose, 50 grams once a day mixed in glass of water. I take it on an empty stomach. I think this might be better than what I was doing before, and it's also cheaper.

    hi guys!

i had the same experience. had a really bad allergic reaction (think it was to mould) & got unbearable hives all over my body. the emergency room put me on 4x days of Prednisolone 50mg a day (such a high dose for what was wrong with me!) When i stopped taking it, I felt high, almost like a brain fog. I didn't feel myself at all. I saw someone recommended Activated Charcoal (as Prednisolone still lives in the fat cells even after taking it) which i did 5 days ago. I didn't feel better straight away, I only just had my first day of feeling normal again. If anyone is struggling with this like i was, don't give up. It will probably take a few days to start working but give activated charcoal a go! Honestly the only thing that saved me. If you want the product I used, message me and i will forward the link 😃 Hope everyone feels better soon!

Do you feel like you're back to normal both mentally and physically after 2 weeks?

I've been given this steroid after going into hospital with an asthma flare up. I think this is the third or fourth day I've been on it now, three more days to go. At first it was making my chest feel tight and I would breath faster, causing a panic attack, so when I got home I felt like I lost my mind, I didn't know what was real or not and I had no energy.

The tight chest and heavy breathing is slowing down, but now I feel super sleepy, confused and still weak. I'm managing to get some sleep still. As long as I keep myself distracted, the anxiety isn't there. I hope I feel like I'm back to normal after taking these. No one warned me of the side affects. This is horrible.
