Hi it's my first day of orlistat and I am suffering a terrible headache, is this a possible side effect?

I am really looking forward to seeing how I get on with my weight loss

If anyone one has any snack or meal ideas I would really appreciate it and I would love to hear everyone's stories xxxxxx

I dread when I have to go out for dinner!!! I tend to go for a pasta dish with a tomato based sauce and I've been fine. Just avoid anything deep fried or creamy. Xx

I think it's steak or Sunday lunch kinda place??? Might go for the healthy option and not take a tablet!

Plus I had pasta last night lol. Don't like it enough to have it again!!!

I'm ok with meat and veg, would avoid pies of any kind though. I went to a BBQ last night and just didn't take a tablet. Felt a bit guilty but didn't want to risk having to run to the loo at someone else's house lol x

Morning girls! Well Monday here again another week to a slimmer uswink

Well yesterday I though I was having the best option so had 3 seared scallops to start and a beef Sunday lunch. I did have 2 small roast potatoes and a Yorkshire :O as the veg portion was tiny! I really enjoyed it but didn't take a tablet. Got home 2 hours later and my tummy was bubbling sad felt bloated and a bit grim.

Late last nite I passed some oil too!! In the loo thank god lol. Sorry if too much info lol. 💩💩

I really don't ever want that to happen again!!

Note to self be good!!! Lol.

Well enough of that lol. Hope you all have a good week.

Do you get your weigh in this week Jo? If so good luck and let us know what you lostsmile

Hi all,Ive dropped another 1lb this week, mine seems slower than the rest of you,i blame it on my underactive thyroid..I unfortunately suffer from the side effects so never too far from the toilet lol ..Hope everyone else is having great success in losing weight too..

Hi Jackie, well done on your loss. At my fat club she said 1lb might not seem a lot but do that once a week and in a year you will be 4 stone lighter WOW

How come you're getting side effects? If you stick to the below 5g per 100g and not over 15g per meal there shouldn't be any?! This is the 1st time, never again!!

Just thought if you're getting side effects it could be because you're consuming too much fat and that's why it's 1lb?! Just a thought?

Hi girls, it sounds like you are all doing so well!! I went to my friends wedding over the weekend. I was good and took my tabs and tried to eat carefully. I have a bad tum today though so obviously something went wrong!! I had a lot of wine maybe that was it? But back home now and on the straight and narrow. Good luck for this week. Xx

    Hi Everyone,

Just come back from the doctors and prescribed with orlistat . I have a thyroid issue and have pilled on the

Pounds in the last year going from 10stone to 12stone 2 which is my weight today. I am really nervous about starting the tablets since reading the information leaflet about leaking etc. But going to start taking them this eevening. I've loved reading all your big weight losses. Wish me luck and will keep you posted.

Hi Jackie7, I too have underactive thyroid and sometimes I only lose 1/2 lb a week. It seems a lot slower than everyone else but it's still in the right direction. How many mgs of thyroxine are you on? X
