Flashing arcs and blobs in left eye for 9 years
Posted , 5 users are following.
Persistant flashes in left eye for 9 years. Been to several retinal specialists over the years. All see.nothing wrong and won't offer treatment or any explanation besides traction on vitreous. I can't deal.with it much longer. Why is this happening? Please help. Losing hope. All started after a severe black eye.

I don't know what it takes with these doctors. I really only feel that if one tells them that they can't live with it anymore, they might do something. I've read about people who hAve become suicidal and in tears when they walk into the doctors office, and only then will they maybe even consider doing something about it. I used to love to read. I can't anymore. I am an artist and this has.impacted my life beyond anything I thought I would have to cope with. I will keep replying to you. Thank you for listening. I hope your vision stablizes as well.

Thanks Lee. I forgot to ask. Do you get pain in and/or around your eyes from this? I feel like a very faint tinge of pain sometimes right above my eye near the brow bone. Don't know if it's related to pvd or not?
