Hi, Lynn, so sorry you are nervous.  I am having my hip done tomorrow, got to be at hospital in sheffield, at 7am.  I am terrrrrrified!  We have got to be brave, you know how time flies and it will all be a distant memory not long from now. I had a hysterectomy in 2009 and just cannot believie it was so long ago. Are you not in the uk, with no one speaking English.  Anyway I have still loads to do yet. Take care.

Good luck Lynn, it's my turn on Wednesday. I go in tomorrow afternoon. I'm anxious too but I'm sure we'll both be fine. I've never heard of this Betadine, I wonder if I will have to use it, or maybe it's just something the French hospitals do .... I'll let you know how I get on, I hope I don't cry too much tomorrow....

Lynn, it is so comforting to read all the support and love coming your way...so many people going in for their surgeries in the next few days, you all  will have alot of gossip to get caught up on during hour recovery.....I'll be following all of you, hugs from a fellow "chicken" xoxo

p.s. during my last surgery I was shaking so much I literally was bouncing on the operating table - very embarrasing!!! Patricia from Toronto
