Morning folks :D
Just thought I would start up this popular thread once again ....... as we seem to have temporarily lost the last one :?
I am still trying to find out exactly what went wrong .... may take a bit of time, but never mind ...... we can continue our amazing postings as per usual :ok:
It's tipping it down here which makes a change, and they promise gales for this evening ... so that will be something to look forward to
Have a good day everyone :D

Oh please can I play hospitals too Alicia ? :nurse: Like Katie, though, all I want to do is lie down in a bed, no Duplo-castles for me
Does that mean you're still feeling achey and horrible Katie? How are you today? :?
Trees, I know just what you mean about knowing what you're doing is too much but doing it anyway - it's the chicken without a head syndrome  Take care of yourself
I'm still full of migraine but not as bad as yesterday, thank goodness.
Had my hair cut and it's okay I think, although it makes me look even paler than I thought I was :ghost: (too much face on show!)
And, I managed better at the gallery today - (oh crumbs, they're advertising a clinical migraine study now  ) , my brain seemed to be slightly more in gear , thank goodness.
Very tired now so will go and put my feet up :zen:

Now the best bit of today went to doctor and yippee he was brilliant sat and for a change listened to everything I had to say (he was a new different doctor) he also checked all my records from before out come although a lot can be attributed to past diagnosed illnesses he is convinced of FIBROMIYALGIA/CFS as he admits he is not an expert in this field he is to refer me to rheumotology at hospital asap giving details of neurology results to be honest I could have hugged him I'm sure I read on here of others with fibro diagnosis as well so success at last someone believes me and as hubby was with me he will maybe take more on board I will hold onto this doctor for dear life as he is the first in over 2 years who has helped take care all and if I've missed anyone sorry but been very tired as it was an early morning appointment and brain not in gear hugs Mo :D :D :D

Well that was a horrible day Still feel yuk :yuk: (thanks for asking Daisy) ...... if someone had told me I had been run over I would honestly have believed them ..... where the heck does the pain and aching come from ..... and my head is bad too Daisy Glad yours is a little easier.
Oops ...... mind the gap ..... can't remember how to close it
Have somehow got to get up to London tomorrow to have the final treatment on my flaming tooth .... can't cancel it for a third time. I shall just have to get taxis everywhere and blow the cost Goodness knows how I am going to manage that, and then be mauled around too :yikes:
Oh that's very nice ... there is now an ad for bad breath  They sure are quick on the draw with them.
Wonder if I mention sausages[/size:4216fcbd72] or something similar we will have an ad for them .... testing, testing, testing ...........
It's okay folks, I'm quite sane really
Take care everyone :D

There are a lot of posts on pacing, and that really is the only way to move forward, and lots of rest. Unfortunately your body is in control at the moment and until you get some sort of understanding going with it, you will just have to do what it says.
We ahve all been there and some of us still are.
Welcome to the club.
Sausages, mmmm, really nice. We had sausages last night wiith mashed potatoes and baked beans, but it is amazing what recipes you can do with sausages. My favourite sausages are thick pork bangers...............................................No, no sausage adverts yet.

Just seen your post. I'm so pleased that you have found a really good GP and that he is obviously going to be tremendous support to you in the future.
Sorry that you have been diagnosed with CFS/ME/FM ..... but as you say the majority of us suffer fron fibromalgia as well which is a pain in the pants literally
So as Alicia says ....... Welcome to the Club[/size:04fb7b43b1] :D [/color:04fb7b43b1]

She told me yesterday she loves me and nicknamed me 'Yappy' and her grandad 'Faffy'. That just says it all

Yes, fibro often goes with ME - hopefully will get a bit better when the weather warms up :star:
As Katie says, it definitely is a pain in the pants, but at least you know what you're dealing with now

Feeling semi-human this morning so thought I'd try and catch up before I run out of steam again
Oh Katie, good luck with all your travelling and dentist appointment today, what a pain (sorry no pun intended) when you are feeling rough make sure you put your feet up and rest as soon as you get back home, I'll have to send you a large pot of clotted cream for your tea tonight .
Trees, what a weekend
I think I would have completely lost the plot if all that had happened to me, I hope you have recovered from the shock of it all
Great news that you have at last found a sympathetic GP Mo :doctor: , I had the same problem so I know how you feel, it's such a relief to have someone you believe is actually listening to you isn't it
Alicia, or should I say \"Yappy\", that is so sweet  I hope you and MD :dog: don't overdo it.
I hope your head is better today Daisy, whenever I get a banging head I feel like I need some good old fashioned fresh sea air to clear it :puff: and blow away the cobwebs, there's nothing better is there

I don't know about you others but even if I am not feeling too bad I simply have no reserves when something unexpected crops up and I just get into panic mode.
Adam worked all day yesterday and then drove Gabriella home last night - 100 miles each way. He telephoned at 10.30 last night to say he had a burst pipe and water was cascading through the house. I knew he needed to turn the stop cock off quick but he couldn't find it even though I told him it would be under the sink in the kitchen - where the water main enters the house.
So he went into panic mode and started yelling at me - what could I do, 3 miles away in my pyjamas. So then he hung up!!!!!
Phoned back half an hour later and he had located it and the water was off but it was all dripping through the ceiling and running down the light fittings
Obviously he will report it first thing today but what a to do.
It never rains but it pours (or drips)
