I have had a good day today the first in months, we are not putting our decs up until a few weeks due to Mike working!!!! and there is the fact of the new colour of tree I may change, still debating whether I will or not my favorite colour is purple ....... but I do not think it would go with a brown and cream decor somehow!!!! I have copper and silver so it seems to go with the room somehow????

Anyway I do hope you are all having a better day xxxxx

Hugs and kisses x

HI there everyone, well , I didn't sleep last night very well, 4.30 before I got off and then Ethan woke up so I am fairly goosed now!!!!!

So glad all is well with your thyroxine and results Tess and I hope your physio goes well too in the morning, when I went to mine he just put me on a bio lamp and that was that and it only relieved the area where it i was positioned somehow, as my thigh became much better???? but nothing else so I give it up as it was a waste of time????

So glad you are getting somewhere with your appointment Helen and now your footwear are being made, about time!!!! So glad you got your £10 xmas bonus and £60 in the new year xxxxx

Bless you Linda xxxxx Your hubby is having a bad time today I see, so sorry to hear this, he is probably fed up due to the hospital messing his apointment up??? I think half the time hospitals only see their outpatients as numbers not individuals that need care too..... hugs and kisses to you both xxxxx

Anyway I do hope \"we\" all can sleep tonight xxxx gentle hugs xxxx

    Hi Ses & Everyone!

Didn't have a brilliant sleep last night. But at least Stewart's night sleep is finished now so hopefully sleep bit better tonight. This is my fifth session now with physio and is really good. He has been working with the parts of my body is the worse  Sometimes it is the whole body lol.

Last time it was my knees and I really know afterwards he has been moving them about well. The only thing is then I have to walk home.

Really frosty and looks sleepy out here today. Will probably take me longer to walk there today.

Well got to go for breakfast now and sort few things before I go. Going to nip in baby shop today and my the lovely little bits I have seen for Sophie's stocking.

Hope everyone else is coping ok.

Hi Tess, Ses, Lindy and everyone,

Well, Tess and Lindy, took Ray to GP this morning and he was pleased with how the Beta Blockers are going, increased dose from next Friday and then back to see him after Christmas. Asked about insomnia and mood and discussed things, Ray was quite upset in there, so he has suggested an anti-depressant to see if that helps and will review that after christmas as well. So overall went well, it will take at least a couple of weeks to begin to work so not expecting any miracles for christmas :!:

Hope your physio went well Tess, I used to come home bruised in the area that they had worked on, physio got quite worried about it. Does anyone else bruise that easily, can it be a fibro thing :?: Did you manage to get the lovely little things for baby Sophie :?:

How are you today Ses, hope you are feeling better and not in too much pain? I expect your little boy is getting excited now, its a lovely time when they are old enough to understand but still young enough to beleive in Father christmas :!:

Well I expect I will suffer later, went into to town to get last few bits, did the rest online :!: Walked further than I have for well over six months, was quite chuffed, no doubt be stiff when I get up to do dinner :!:

Well take care all, I hope everyone gets some sleep without too much pain :!:

    Hi Linda

Good news for Ray with betablockers working. So pleased he was able to talk to dr about how he is feeling. Hopefully antidepressants will help him but might take a little longer than a couple of weeks depending on his dose. He should hopefully feel a lot brighter when they kick in.

I am like you I do bruise easily. Only have to knock myself and a bruise comes up and think I have read its something to do with Fibro. I seem so clumsy walking into things as well.

Got the little bits for Sophie's stocking. Christmas pudding babygro was for a new born. So got another babygro that said Im a little angel most of the time\". Also got hat that said rudolf on it and a picture of rudolf in white with little mits, and a christmas bib with \"A little birdie told me its christmas\" with a bird on it. So cute. Going to put in her stocking. Got Molly a Santa Hat \"with I believe in Father Christmas\". Got several bits for molly stocking. Only thing left she never got for her birthday is a high school musical hat and scarf set so going to gets those and stockings done. The baby bits were a bargain and all only came to £3.75 in our local baby shop.

Physio went well and feel sore today though.! Try to show me an exercise to do with my shoulders my lying down on my tummy and pulling shoulders together without raising my head. Couldn't really understand what he meant. Not sure if me being a bit thick or the fibro not making me understand lol  Was funny though as he had to get on couch and show me. It looked really funny because he is a tall man. I was trying not to laugh. Tried again and still couldn't really get it. Going to put me exercise leaflets in post with pictures to help lol. I need help!

Well hope you get a bit more restful day today and you did really well with all your walking!

    Hi Di

Don't worry haven't done all my xmas stuff yet! Had a busy week so need to get it done by next week.! Went babysitting for my daughter last night and didn't get home until 12.30am was so tired. My husband Stewart came as well to help with the two little grandchildren.

You have had a horrible week. Migraines I think are the worse! I can cope with other pain but migraines just get me down. No wonder though with your high blood pressure. Did her say why it was so high? It is not just the one day with a migraine, as it also takes several days after to feel really well again.

You take it easy today and don't try to do too much. I know we all do far too much than we should and pay for it later. You will be ready in time for xmas. Get the rest of the family to give you a hand!

Well take care and hope everyone else is ok Ses, Helen, Alicia, Dale and anyone I might have forgotten. Merry Christmas to you all.

    Hi All,

    Hope u ar all well.

Di, high blood pressure can give u the most horrendous headache possible. Heartbeat pumping in ur ears, when u bend forward u think ur head is going to literally burst. Makes u dizzy, all disorientated...and also can make u feel sick as a dog. U should find a difference (hopefully) with the tablets. It wouldn`t have been helped with all the stress uve been under lately.

Hi Linda, hope u and Ray are well. Most anti-depressants take 4-6 weeks to \"kick in\". I sure hope they help.

Tess, Kayla is almost 9 months old. Megan is 2. Both little cuties... smile Mind u, I wouldn`t want 1 to keep....  I`d rather have lighted tapers stuck up my finger nails... (terrible or what?)

Just 2moro to work...and thats me FREEEEEEE!! I can`t wait.

Got my tatoo yesterday. Its beautiful (I think ). Butterflies and cherry blossoms winding round my leg down onto my foot. The rock chick in me is not gone....Im holding on for grim death..

SES, hope all is well with u .

    Take Care Everyone.

    HI there everyone,

Again I have had a bad time of things so I am so sorry but there has so much that have gone on with yourselves I do not want to leave you all out....... fibrofog and all that....... I had the laringytus and then I have had sinus head cold and to top it all with all the pain and fatigue I have had problems with my acid reflux as I had ran out of tabs....... so horrible went to bed 12 ish only to wake up this morning at 4 with a burning ball sense of feeling in my throat and my throat was so painful it felt like it was on fire..... due to the acid reflux I predict..... so full up and fed up of taking tablets but what else can we do?...... phoning the Chemist tomorrow to see if they can let me have my meds earlier as they said they are not ready until Thursday, no way i can wait until then????? anyway that is my moan so sorry to go on

Oh bless you Linda, so glad Ray told the doctor how he felt, I do hope he starts to show a difference soon xxxx I am so excited for Ethan as he is two (three 2nd Jan) he likes Iggle Piggle so got him the bike, a garage for his toys and a till with toy money (he loves money) and a remote control car along with others I forgot about........ I would like to get the Nintendo wii for the family but finances put a stop to that idea as we are spent up!!!!!

Good your Doctor came out to see you Di xxxxxxxx I hope you are feeling better now....... I think that is a classic example of high blood pressure pulsing in your ears as my mum said that........ I had that for a while but when I went to get it checked it was ok???? not a nice sensation as you do feel awful with that, hopefully the meds should work and you have relief xxxxx Yeah I think my window looks lovely just have to get help though cleaning it when it is all over  due to the snow effect :x Hoping you are having a much better day today xxxx

It does sound so cute what you have bought Lindy I do hope your pain is better today too, roll on the holiday break eh!!!!!! xxx

Nice to hear you got your prezzies Tess xxxx I am so glad for you that physio helped you..... my physio was rubbish as all he did was put me on a bio lamp as he reckoned he could not help fibromyalgia and so all he was trying to help was the OA in my hip???? and so I would have to ly there with a heat lamp for 20 mins not being able to move and it was like watching paint dry, helped the effected area but I thought what about the rest of me!!!!! I do hope your exercises give you the relief as they are intended to do!!!! Migraines yeah I have had a constant head ache for about three days I got my voice back and then got this!!!!! If it does not go tomorrow I will go back to the doctors as I want to make sure I am ok over the xmas period!!!! along with us all....... I do hope we are all sure that we have all the medications we need over the christmas period xxxxx

I do hope Helen is getting on ok too xxxxxxx
