Having internal body vibrations/buzzing.

I've been experiencing these body vibrations/buzzing for about 2 months now. It started out mostly at night waking me up between 1am to 4am..if I try to sleep through it it gets worse and even into my head. I've had several really bad mornings where its been so bad I get out of bed in a panic wondering what is wrong...of course this has lead to very little sleep the last couple months. Lately it goes on all day too. At night I can "calm" it with a glass of wine but only to wake up vibrating again. I've been taking anxiety meds and they have no effect. Tried muscle relaxers and they have no effect. I've changed my diet and taking vitamins with no effect. I'm 50 years old and pre pausel as I've had on full period I'm 7 months. Im so tired of dealing with this. Anyone else having this same thing? If so what have they done about it?.I have a doctors app. in two days.

Ok so I've been to my new PCP and told her what was going on and she ordered blood work. She is one that wants to find answers to all her patients issues. So it turns out I'm not premenopausal and my HDL is extremely low. Anybody else with cholesterol problems?

No, other than a lesion on my spine ( old injury, tumor???) they can’t tell what it is after 4 MRI’s of it.  I am perfectly healthy. I’ve had the million dollar work up

    High blood pressure,

    Diabetes,

Fast heartbeats can cause this buzzing ou

    Even dehidratation...

For the 3 night I'm having this buzzing making me awake most of time and today i woke up and started checking myself up :

    blood sugar was 102 (normal)

Blood pressure 110/88 (little high but this level aways gives me buzzing on my ears . )

    My heartbeat was 101 😲

I've had some water and come back to bed

    I don't know why i'm like this

Maybe hormones are playing up as some people saying...

Hi Kay, menopause wil interfer with every cell in our body and if you have something wrong it will make it worst too, yes I know how you feel I had the buzzing in my head but disappears all the symptoms come and go or subside and you don't know when they stop..we need that deep sleep to function but it rob us from that, I'm also fed up dealing with it too, I'm Post Menopsal I think had no periods now for 13 months just hanging in there as they say it gets better

Hi Maria, I’m 2 years past my last cycle. I started vibrating all of the time about 2 years ago also. My question is, how long did this last for you. I’m so tired of dr’s  treating me like I’m nuts, I no longer say anything. It’s scary though. It’s pretty intense. I also hear the vibrating like a humming in my head. Thanks I hope you reply

I’m seeing specialist at Albany Medical in New York.  They believe I have terrible neuropathy in my abdomen legs and feet this originated in my abdomen and now feels like my lower body is on fire and it is so intense it feels like my whole body is vibrating. I do have these tremors in my chest as well. Although they’re scary I don’t fret about them much anymore as I know it’s not my heart. I hope to get relief from the burning and this awful vibrating! I told my family I could jackhammer up the Main Street here! I’ll keep you all posted. I am not suffering from anxiety unless another stupid dr or person says it’s nerves! I was the happiest I ever was when this happened to me, I don’t know about you folks but some days it’s so bad I want to tear my hair out and I feel bad because I break down crying every few weeks over it! I want my life back. I’m on Gabapentin, propanalol and Primidone. I’m only on small doses they will be cranking them all up. Fingers crossed

Hi Susan you mentioned you get this in your abdomen? Is it like your stomach is vibrating like a pulse inside?

Hi Kay, I’m post menopausal by over a year. My vibrating started a year ago. Nobody here (medical) has heard of a link between hormones and internal tremors. I wish there were some scientific evidence to back it up. I would love to know that this will go away.

Hi Susan, Crystal & Linda. I too am sensitive to that low frequency hum. and I am surrounded by people with hot tubs & swimming pool pumps.  Ive had it for 6 years now, just started one day as a pump, pu pu pu ... and I didn't know where it was coming from. The power went off in our neighbourhood one night and I figured it out it was coming from inside my head.  I have been to see everyone, usual ENT's & neurologists & alternative professionals.  I have had the odd wonderful sensation of everything stopping after I fly. Sometimes for 2 days I can hear the quiet inside and out, meaning that I am not sensitive to external noise, and it's wonderful.  But it doesn't last.

That roaring and vibrating in my head has now progressed to my whole body quivering, buzzing, vibrating non stop 24/7.  Im going to try progesterone as soon the pharmacist makes it up for me.

I'm also working with an holistic dentist who is working to get my jaw re-aligned into its proper position so that everything works the way it is supposed to. Im starting to realize that the health of the jaw is everything. It supports the whole head, all the cranial nerves come drown thru various teeth. and when you jaw is alignment, your neck is in alignment.  Based on scans, my dentist has built up my back teeth temporarily before anything more permanent. Once we have it just right, he will place something more permanent.   2 weeks ago, I went in for a slight adjustment on my bite, came home, no noise, no vibrating, I felt so normal and so good.  Last until the middle of the night.  Yesterday the same thing, a slight adjustment in my bite, came home, no noise, no vibration, felt so wonderful.  And when I'm quiet inside, the pumps don't bother me.  It's only when everything is vibrating and shaking inside that they drive me crazy because they are intensifying what i am already experiencing.

Unfortunately, it all came back again during the night.  But to know it can be paused for awhile after being so chronic gives me home.

Sweetie, I'm glad as can be if you've really found something that helps you. I just read the bits there about cranial nerves coming down thru various teeth and that "when your jaw is aligned your neck is aligned." Neither of those are accurate, not even close. Please do a couple of Google searches and you'll see.

I don't want to take anything away from you, but I truly despise it when anyone, especially anyone with a medical degree, takes advantage of someone who is suffering and desperate for answers.
