HEADACHE; ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, Help Appreciated

Hello all, i have come to this site in search of an answer to a seemingly impossible question. After seeing multiple doctors, a ENT, a nuerologist and now doing the rounds of physio and chiropracture i still have no clue on what i seem to be suffering with. Three months ago, after a day or two of feeling like i have had a cold, i woke up with intense pressure in the head. At first the thought of meningitis or a tumor/aneurysm came to mind due to the 24/7 intense pain. But after a MRI, CT and CTA scan it was ruled out. The nuerologist just did a reflex test and looked at the MRI which was already confirmed normal and told me to just see how it goes. The goes with the doctors, because all my tests have come back normal they classify me as a worry wart or i have anxiety but i am just a realist. I have constant pain in my head and face, tightness in the neck, ears need to pop all the time and body aches especially with the legs and lower back pain although i am not sure if my lower pack pain is a seperate issue or not as a i am a nurse and my job applies alot of pressure to that region. I am not letting the doctors fob me off to walk away with a "mystery illness" as i have told them im just gonna keep coming back till they find out whats wrong. Ive also had a chest x ray, blood work done, a urea breathing test, an ultrasound of my heart and lungs, a test for STDs and all have come back normal. I just have no idea where to go from here? if anybody has a clue on where to go, i would appreciate more than ever some input. Thank you

Hi Matthew.
I had 2 sinus infection running up to the day my headache started - I speak with a lot of people on FB that are going through the same thing, and a lot of them had some sort of flu or infection before they got their headache. You may have already heard of it, but I have been diagnosed with New daily persistent headache (NDPH)/chronic migraine.
My headache also feels like pressure all around my head, I too get eye ache. Since the headache started I have had constant Tinnitus. I get facial tingling/numbness - the best way I can describe the feeling is as if I have dried PVA glue over my face, or a face mask. My scalp is really sensitive and can burn.
Yes, I also get body aches, my neck, shoulders, top of my back and top of my arms also ache like hell all the time.
It really is very awful, and as you have probably found out, changes your lifestyle and personality so much.
I haven't had a minute without the pain since it started in March 2015. I really do hope it doesn't last this long for you.

So sorry to hear that my friend really do ope a miracle comes out of the blue and saves you. To know that there are other poeple out there who go through this is comforting although horrible to hear, poeple just dont realise how life altering a "headache" can be, especially when its with you in the morning. I notice that the pressure is variational, meaning it changes location to a singular spot and sometimes its just all over, its easier in the morning but fires up in the night. Im not letting this get me down, and i find a relief i will share share along. Im on a migraine type med so im hoping this will take away some of the brunt.
but i hope you dont have to cope with this alot longer. 3 years is long enough!

Hi Matthew
Please also look into intracranial hypertension or hypotension if you haven't already. I had a lumbar puncture done to check, but pressure was normal.
How is this effecting your life, are you still pushing on and going to work? I still work full time, and its a huge struggle!
Also, have you noticed if alcohol makes your head worse?

That goods, I know what you mean! id rather they actually find something on the brain scans as then at least they would have something to treat!
I too smoke, about 10 a day, I have given up but it didn't make any difference to the pain.
I am not recommending you do so yourself, but the only thing I find takes my mind off the pain is smoking abit of cannabis every now and then. I could do with the giggles too!
Have you tried food elimination?
