Hi Ses, Linda, Di & Everyone
Well you did well to have all those girls staying over! No wonder you are feeling it today. I hope the pains in your neck get better soon. It is a shame your daughters dad spoilt it by not sending her a card. Like you said he doesn't deserve to be called a dad after the death threats he did to you.
I do feel for you as you have enough going on with the Fibro and everything else without the added stress!
Give yourself an early night and rest as best as you can. My toe has still been feeling strange again today. I am having to be very careful how I walk on it. If I haven't heard anything from hosp in about a week and half time will ring my gp.
Been trying hard to fit in my exercises all nine of them three times a day.
Managed three times yesterday and might achieve it again today as haven't been far over the weekend. Stewart has been working overtime so I have had plenty of me time.
Still waiting for my new little granddaughter to make an appearance only seven days to go now! She has a long last turned the right way so my daughter could have a normal labour this time if all goes well.
Well take care everyone and talk again soon.
Love Tess x x

Yeah Alzheimer's is a nasty illness, my nanna looked after my grandad and he had gangereen so had his legs amputated....... she looked after him with TLC and looked after me, it does make me sick to think life is not fair as she was one of the most caring , loving person you could meet and yet she got that......... My 100 year old great nana on the other hand was healthy as one could be she was very lucky due to no severe illnesses. I just hope Alzheimer's isn't hereditary, my mum is worried about this and she asked her GP for the test or something to see if she has the gene but her doctor did not know what she meant..... probably too expensive for the NHS???
As with the dentist yesterday I was very surprised too that he knew about the Fibro, it was so nice to have someone that understood pain..... hopefully he will realize that when he prods and pokes my teeth he should be more gentle as we are more sensitive than others eh???? So we will see end of October how he is when it comes to giving me a filling????
I have had a stressful day due to my daughter and her boyfriends brother so not at all with it...... the pain in my hip though today has been dreadful I got off the bus from the Orthodontics and bang I had this almighty pain as the bus was so high up from the pavement it made me feel sick..... and so since then it has been bothering me
I do hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine xxxxx anyway I am going to go and make a cup of coffee so take care everyone xxxxx

Hope you enjoyed your rest and nice cup of tea. How is the hip now? Hope the pain has settled down for you.
I have only managed two lots of exercises the last couple of days. Suppose better than nothing at all! Went to doctors this morning and had thyroid blood test with the nurse. Only has to wait ten minutes and was in and out quick. Have to wait about 10 days for results!
Still haven't heard from hospital about toe. Going to give it until tomorrow mornings post. If no letter then going to ring and speak to my doctor. He did tell me to ring him if I hadn't heard after 7 to 10 days.
Well i hope everyone else is doing ok. Ive got aches and pains in toes and knees tonight. Hope I sleep better tonight.

Not had much time to get on here the last couple of days. Hubby not too good and although my OA has been less painful I have had several migraines. Its as if there`s a little man inside me saying Hey! the OA is better must find something else to cause her pain! Lol
So, I`m not going to do too much today in the hope that a rest might help. Some hopes! I do seem better on this new anti depressant, though. I`m glad I stuck with it in the early days. I even have some better nights although I still wake feeling as if I haven`t slept. I guess that`s the \"non restorative sleep\" thing that comes with the fibro.
Well, take care everyone and try to keep positive.

Was good to hear you are getting some help Di when you need it. Thats the support that we all need from time to time  Don't think the brain fog is your age just the fibro! We all seem to blame everything on our age  Especially when you get to my age of 52!
Rang the doctor today as still not heard from hospital about toe. Going to send another letter off. He also asked me to go see him next week as he has one thyroid blood test result back. Still waiting on a second result but has given me an appointment for 5.30 on Friday. Not sure what its all about unless I will have to change the level I am taking!
Well still waiting for my new little granddaughter to arrive lol! Watch this space!
Hope you all have a comfortable weekend and enjoy the sun!

Had a bad weekend....... Saturday morning I had three hours sleep and I got up with Ethan at 7.15..... this morning I was due for a sleep in and I didn't as my dad came to fix my shower as he had extended his holiday to do some D.I.Y so he decided to fit my new shower as he is a electrician, bless him....then he was going home to do his decorating, couldn't say anything as it was a nice gesture, as it has been around four to six weeks since our old one stopped working ( a relief for the 15yr old and my gas bill running the baths) so I am warn out....... the Lyrica seem to be working for the fibro I think but my hip as been a nightmare again.......good Job Di what you say about the brain only being able to cope with one pain as I would be a living hell if we had several pain going on at the same time!!!! and so nice to see that you appear to have related to how we are effected now so you are not feeling you are alone xxx
Tess can you not phone the hospital to see what has gone on with your file, maybe the secretary may know? and Linda what new anti depressant are you taking as I was just wondering just in case my new doctors may prescribe something else? as I go for medical tomorrow to enroll for the new GP'S surgery, just hoping they are better than my previous doc's.
Anyway I do hope everyone is having a restful time, and I do hope you all have a peaceful sleep tonight, all night too as there is nothing worse than having a broken sleep, this generally happens with me, just hope I have a better sleep tonight along with you all?????
Take care everyone and gentle hugs xxxx

Well sorry to hear your hip is not very good again Ses. Hope it goes ok with your new doctor.
Going to see my doctor on Friday about thyroid blood test results so find out from him if letter was sent off yesterday.
Well what a night. My daughter rang me early in evening to say pains were getting stronger. Went to bed for a couple of hours and she rang about one o' clock could we go round and I would stay with Molly the night.Stewart would take Amy through to maternity unit. Had a busy night of no sleeping, lots of texting my other daughter who was on nights out on ambulance, and waiting for news of Sophie.
Pleased to say was worth a sleepless night as Amy had Sophie at 5.46 this morning and she weighed 8lb 6oz. Had normal delivery and is coming home after two today. Really looking forward to seeing my new little granddaughter.
Molly was really good didn't no I was there until she woke in morning.
She got sorted and ready for school. My husband took her and she was really good. We bought her a new High School Musical quilt cover and pillow cases as a present.
Going to pick her up tonight and take her home and surprise her with Amy, Andrew and Sophie being there.
Think early night for me! Got to go in the shower now and try and wake up a bit. Might feel a bit more with it lol
Well take care everyone.
Talk soon.

 :bubbly:  Congratulations Tess on the arrival of your new Granddaughter Sophie :cracker:  and I do hope Molly likes her new quilt, She will probably need alot of attention as I remember my eldest daughter Melissa was 4 and a half and she seemed kind of jealous and I felt kind of guilty as I was breast feeding and she said I was cuddling Olivia all the time, I was on my own you see as I had split up with their dad at the time :x anyway I had to make an added effort as I had a c-section and it was very tiring, and I live miles away from my family...... How old is Molly?it may be a shock to her system due to being the only child for so long.... she will get used to it though, I used to let Melissa help with bath time and she loved that  as being involved seemed to help somehow!!! Just a pity their closeness didn't continue  as they bicker all the time :? Sorry I am waffling but it is bringing back memories and I have had no sleep once again so what I have said probably has no relevance
So tired as I got woke up by the hamster it had got out of the cage and somehow landed upstairs in my bedroom under my bed  I thought I had mice or something, thank goodness So I had to wake Olivia at 6pm to get \"Hammy\" and so Ethan woke up  I said to my husband in 72 hours I have had 11 hours sleep  and guess what because we were at the doctors this morning he got woke up early and so he has gone back to bed  I am getting rather tired now, just hoping Ethan has a nap???? I can't concentrate due to Ethan shouting too
Anyway my hip pain is so painful once again, nothing new so seeing the new doctor next Wednesday to get my repeat prescriptions set up and then I will see what he has to say??? The nurse gave me a medical and asked me when I had my last thyroid done I said about three months ago and she said I need it done only once a year..... I said I have to have it done every three months as my levels fluctuate and she looked at me as thuogh I was stupid????? Just wondering whether this is usual????
You will be so overwhelmed by your new grand child Tess I do hope your pain is less so you are enjoying the moments with the little one xxxxx
I do hope everyone else is having a good day and I do hope that everyone gets a good sleep too xxxxx
Take care xxx
