HOT WEATHER !!

Hi All

How are all Fibro People coping with the heat we are experiencing at the moment?

I am finding it unbearable, as with already have heat in my body, the outdoors is unbearable.

I was at work today and our office has Air Conditioning and it felt great. Until, I finished work and left the building how HOT it really was outside. I have a 30 min walk to get home and I was toasted by the time I got home.

I am finding the pains in my hands are bad at the moment and I am also experiencing pains in my elbow areas too.

Staying calm and positive I am getting on with my day.

Stay cool and enjoy the natural vit D......cool

      Hi Kaz

You are really getting some serious sleep.  Please tell me your secret, as I haven't had a good night sleep in over 20yrs.  I have got very bad PANDA EYES.......I look ever so tired and worn out. No matter how much concealer I apply I just look totally drained out. My hands are still quite painful but staying calm and positive.  One day I can report too of having a good night sleep.

You may have hayfever.....have you had any meds like Cetirzine Hydrochloride, I find this usually helps me with my hayfever.

Have a good day and gentle hugs to you.  wink xx

Hi Bee I havnt stopped sneezing all day, I think it is hay fever hun so will get something for it. this is the first time Ive ever had hay fever? I think the only reason Im sleeping is Im just so exhausted Im trying to make sure nothing is bothering me before bed, as I was finding it difficult to switch my brain off would be in bed with things spinning round in my head.my husband snores quiet loudly which doesnt help so at the min hes in another room to see if that would help me sleep wise and it has? have you tried a relaxing bath before bed, try switch your mind off from everything if you can.see if that works. hope you can get some sleep tonight. take care gentle hugs. smilexx

Hi Bee Have you had a word with your gp to do with you not being able to sleep have you heard of kalm tablets, they are suppose to aid natural sleep, you can get them from a chemist or super market. I havnt tried them yet so cant say how effective they are. They are a natural herbal remedy. hope you can get some sleep tonight take care gentle hugs xx

Hi Kaz. I have tried Kalm's they worked for a short time. Like you I have managed about 6 hours sleep over the last couple of nights. Have done this a few times then back to not sleeping more than an hour or two.

Hope you manage to sleep again tonight.

      Take care and gentle hugs.

      Hi Kaz

Have tried everything from herbal remedies to hot drinks to hot bath to relaxing and breathing techniques before bed, but nothing is working. The pains last night kept me up and feeling ever so hot again.  I am definitely not going through the menopause yet, but not far from approaching them.

Hope your hayfever eases, although it has been a bad year for sufferers this year.

Take care and have a good day. wink x

Hi Bee. You may be what they call peri-menopause. My sister was diagnosed with that last year. It was just a blood test for menopause. This may help you and your doctor may start you on hormones. Alternatively you could try evening primrose oil, sometimes on its own or with starflower oil.

      Take care and gentle hugs

      Hi Janet

Have already had blood test to check my hormone levels and have been told I'm not there yet. I feel like a zombie at the moment with minimum sleep and so much heat.

One day at a time. None of the remedies are helping at the moment, but staying calm and positive is the way forward.

      Take care wink x

Hi Bee I have been thinking of you today, and trying to think of ways to help get you some sleep. Have you an Ipod or mp3 player. something with earphones where you can listen to music. whilst laying in bed I love the sound of the sea.while I was away being able to hear that helped me to sleep. I wondered if listening to calming music would help. some one once told me to put lavender on my pillow spray wise lavender is suppose to aid sleep. Im determined to find away of getting you to sleep. other than having to hit you over the head with amallettlol only joking hun.I know only too well what your going through.I really feel for you when all you want is some sleep. I love your positive attitude to do with fibro iyour an inspiration to us all take care big hug coming your way xx
