HOW TO CURE ANAL FISSURE QUICKLY...

Hi Everyone - I can tell you how to cure Anal Fissure's quickly...

Firstly, my experience was horrible just like everyone else. I have read that it can be more painful than childbirth! Mine started from an overly large bowel movement that ripped me in 3 places. The pain was so bad that i passed out on my bathroom floor with blood and feecies hanging out of me when i woke up. The doctor gave me suppositories and anasthetic cream but nothing was working. I have concucted a reigime that has cured it in nearly three days. When i read on forums that it can take a few weeks i said to my self 'There is no way im living with this pain for that long'! EVERYTHING HURTS.... Sneezing, Laughing, Coughing, Walking, Sitting, Lying down... the list goes on... follow these steps and it cleared up 3 days.

1. Your going to need a few things from the shop - The first is Anusol Cream (despite people saying its not as good as preperation H and other stuff its has worked wonders for this reigime and is designed for anal fissures and hemeroids. The second is COCONUT OIL (MAGIC STUFF).... Anchient chinese cultures still use this to heal wounds of all kinds and this really was the turn around stuff for me. Thirdly... Ibuprofen for temporary pain relief and lastly Dulcolax tablets... I will show you how to use all these products for a quick repair in a minute...

2. Psychology ... DO NOT sit at home and wollow in pain and sadness. Go to work, see your friends, live a normal life but be careful. Positive mentality keeps you relaxed and promotes healing. When i was at work i barely felt any pain because i was so distracted, but when i was at home it was constant pain. Make sure you do this, im certain this has really helped. Also do not be affraid to tell people exactly whats wrong with you, i have found great amusment talking to people about it and 6/7 of the people i spoke to had been sufferers too, its nice to know your not the only one and you can see them well and happy!

Here is my reigime that saved me:

1. The night before take 1-2 of the Dulcolax, it doesnt kick in until the morning but you need this so you dont damage yourself further. It is not a laxative it makes it all soft and squidgy and it just falls outta you. Minimal pain.

2. In the morning your gonna need to have a bowel movement, before you do. Run a bath and put a few table spoons of cocnut oil in it. (hot bath), then have your bowel movement. Mine was too painful to wipe so as soon as i finished i hopped in the bath and the water IMMEDIATELY relives the pain (BLISS).. and the coconut oil moisturises and heals. Stay in there for a good 10-20 minutes and then i promise you it wont be hurting as much now so now you can apply the anusol cream.

3. Before you head off to work or start your day, take 2 ibuprofen. After all this, it will sting a little but by day 3 you can barely feel anything.

4. Make sure you take your ibuprofen after breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had high fibre cereal for breakfast, water all day normal lunch and whatever for dinner.

5. Make sure you re-apply cream if you have a bowel movement during the day. I tried to just have one in the morning so i could not aggrovate my anus too much.

6. After dinner, take your ibuprofen, run a bath with coconut oil and just sit and relax for as long as you can (make sure you put NOTHING in your bath except the cocnut oil as soaps and stuff can dry you out and make it worse).

7. Before bed, take your dulcolax again drink plenty of water and get good nights sleep.

This regime has fixed me in 2 1/2 days pretty much which i found amazing (i think it was the cocnut oil, which stings like a bitch but is AMAZING, i doesnt numb pain but it promotes healing). I am so pleased to be living a normal life again so quickly as i thought i would never be the same again. It is really important you dont fester at home doing nothing as it will only make it worse, go out, see the world and forget that its there.

Hope this helps people as it has really helped me and i wanted to share this with others.

Hope you all feel better soon! Keep smiling and never give up!!

Peace & Love

I cured fissures with these 3 items, Prunes, hot sitz bath and Witch Hazel.

I have suffered for 2 years in excruciating pain with each bowel

movement. I was to the point where I was sweating, shaking, crying and

almost passing out! I have had 3 children vaginally and not one hurt as

bad as my fissure. I have never in my life been regular with having bowel

movements, always 4 to 5 days in between each one, one day a bout of

severe diarrhea cause such force it tore me badly, which has been so

Painful for 2 years now. I was diagnosed with a very bad fissure, had to

Be on 2 stool softners a day along with each painful bowel movement a

Very warm almost hot sitz bath with Epsom salt followed by a unsented

Baby wipe soaked in witch hazel and placed on the rectum on the cut if

Possible. All this helped but only temporary as soon as I had to go again

There the pain and agony was again. Finally I added Dried Prunes to my

Daily diet. First I ate 7, nothing by the next day, so I added 5, then that

Night I had to go, dreading like always but to my surprise it wasn't half as

Painful as the last. Followed by my sitz bath and witch hazel soak, The

Next morning 4 prunes from the container I kept in the fridge. That evening had to go, again hardly no pain, next morning 4 more prunes, that evening, finally NO PAIN WHAT SO EVER! Thanked God and was so happy.

Now everyday I eat my 4 sunsweet pitted prunes and and every evening I go normal now, with no pain, no strain and no diarrhea. I can be normal

again after 2 years of agonizing pain. I still take my 2 stool softeners a

day also, and for sure no matter what I will always take my 4 prunes each

Morning. I read up on Prunes and they have so many health benifits, go

Look for yourself, Google it I did and I am so happy I did. However be

Cautious when eating prunes, you need to see whats good for you, I

hardly ever develope diarrhea and my stools were always so hard and big

so I figured out how many prunes were best to keep me a good normal

Bowel movement a day. Yours may be more or less. Do not boil them

like the old timers did for constipation, they do your body better eaten

right out of the container. Hope this helps, I no longer have to do the sitz

baths or witch hazel soaks, just the 4 prunes and I am a normal person

again. I know that may sound silly to some people, but they have never

suffered havinf fissures, worst pain ever if you ask me! God Bless and

    cure anyone who suffers fissures!

In the sub-continent, we have a substance that we call, aspaghol, that you can get

at an Indian store: if you take two tea spoons of this with milk or porridge before going to bed at night you can get rid of your constipation problems very gently and effectively -- for good!  Peace 7 love.

I had anal fissures for almost 6 months. Tried every cream and home cure that you can find on-line. Went to the doctor and was given oral meds but none of them worked. It only made the pain tolerable, but it was still there. Stumbled upon this website and saw the suggestion of Morris on the Coconut Oil. Being in a country with vast selections of Coconut Oil, I just had to try it. And, fortunately, my cousin from the province sells Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. The type you take orally. It's actually a food supplement. Called him up and bought a bottle so I can try it. What I did was I just rubbed the Coconut Oil after every bowel movement (which is in the morning) and just before I sleep. This is of course after I clean the anal area with soap and rinse it with water and dry them with a towel. I didn't even put it in warm water and didn't drink any laxative or pain killers along with it. It was that simple. And to my surprise, after just 4 days of doing this, my fissures dissapeared. Believe me! No more pain and itchiness. I've been fissure free for almost 6 weeks now. And the relief is just amazing! I was already on the verge of giving up and never expected that the cure I'll find is just the Coconut Oil from my cousin. And since I still have a bottle of it, everytime I feel like there's an itch on my anal area, I just rub Coconut Oil on it. Maybe I'm just paranoid about it, but hey, I still have some and it won't hurt to apply some. And it's easy for me to just buy a bottle again.

Anyway, hope the Coconut Oil works for everyone too! Try it! It's natural so there's no need to fear any side efffects of it.

    Thanks Morris for that information!

Am I allowed to take a shower during the day when I use this treatment? I also didn't have anusol cream and used preparation H cream, is that bad? Also when I used a cream during this treatment am I supposed to put a tuck in the butt? I hope you reply to this as soon as you can because I already am using this treatment.

This is my first time experiencing this sort of pain in the past I've had boils on my butt and I thought that this was happening again. Because I just can't grasp on to the severity of this pain to me this was not normal so I had to go online and look to see if anyone else has or is experiencing what I'm going through. I went to the doctor and she gave me anusol suppositories. ..not sure if it's doing anything...coconut oil is my savior . I'm gonna try your regimen and see what happens because at this point I am willing to try just about anything

    Dear Morris,

Thank you for that extremely helpful post!!!! Woke up Sunday crying like a woman giving birth!! Only had a fissure once before but this was a fissure and hemoroids combined! Was almost crying like a wounded soldier. Totally embarrassing but you all know it. Followed your method to a tee and voila! Two days later, am 95% whole! Here is what l did:

    1. Drank close to 11-12 glasses of water (whole thing came about because l went out drinking, which dehydrAted me, didn't drink my h water, eat any fiber for days).

    2. For two days, beginning the morning of my excruciating "incident," l only drank a vegetAble shake. No real food. That allowed me to not have a BM for two days, giving it time to recover.

    3. For softener l typically use Psyllium Husk (it's sold here in vitamin stores in the US, not sure about UK or Europe but l am certain you can get it on-line. Comes from India, apparently). Please look it up people, especially if you wish to avoid meds. It works wonders. I usually take a table spoon of PH and mix it with water (l simply stir it) and drink it at night. It has no taste but the texture takes some getting used to. But if you're suffering like l was, you would do anything to end the pain. Combined with at least one meal with vegetables or fiber, the PH "cooks" things nicely so that you have a very healthy BM in the morning.

    4. Following your recommendation, l bathed twice (morning and night) with generous helpings of coconut (just pulled the semi-solid coconut oil my wife had in the kitchen) and Epsom salt (l know you said only coconut but l had an angry hemorrhoid that needed the salt to shrink it, bud).

    5. AfterwRds, l would "pack" myself with the coconut, inside. Not a clean process but it helped a great deal. I then added the traditional pellets for hemorrhoids as an extra precaution.

Two days later, l had my first BM and it was trumpets in the sky!

My maintenance plan is as follows:

    A vegetable shake a day.

    9-11 glasses of water.

    Psyllium Husk at night.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write what worked for you!l hope this was helpful. God Bless everyone!

Hi everyone. It's sad but also kind of relieving knowing I'm not the only one going through what seems like one of the more cruel and disgusting bodily issues.

I've been dealing with intense stinging/burning/stabbing pain inside and outside the anal area after every BM. Some times I can go weeks and months without it flaring up, but when it does it does so with a vengeance and usually leaves my wriggling in pain at work or in bed etc.

I've had it since 2009 and have mostly learnt to just deal with it but it's pretty awful and I'm getting pretty p*ssed off with it.

However contrary to a lot of people here, loose stools cause me significantly more discomfort than normal ones. I have a bunch of digestion issues so it causes a lot of loose ones than irritate the area to no end.

    So here's what I've tried:

Baby powder to keep the area dry/clean - fail

    Chinese herbal powder - fail

    Pawpaw ointment - fail

Rectinol - offers temporary relief due to local anaesthetic, been using it for about 6 years now on and off

Dermaid - topical steroid has given temp relief in the past

    Proctosedyl - temporary relief

None of the above offer anything permanent in regards to relief however.

So I've gone off lactose and gluten, which helps with digestion.

But after reading all the above I'm gonna start irrigating and or bathing after a BM, and gonna hop on the coconut oil bandwagon. I'll report back and let you all know my progress.

I've been having recurrent fissures for the past year, just as I was beginning a Doctor of Physiotherapy program (so a lot of sitting...). I've been taking nitro for the past week and a half, and it wasn't getting any better. I started using coconut oil 2 days ago and it already is helping! My daily routine: nitro first thing in the morning, 20-30 minutes later I use a coconut oil suppository, BM sometime in the morning using a SQUATTY POTTY (essential), coconut oil throughout the day as needed, another dose of nitro in the evening, another coconut oil right before bed, exercise every single day. The coconut oil/squatty potty combo has been fantastic. Also, the more I learn in physiotherapy school the more I've realized that my initial constipation and the difficult time with healing down there has more to do with tightness in my pelvic floor muscles and less to do with my diet (which is high fiber). If you're having issues with constipation, especially if your stools don't seem overly large and you don't have a feeling of completeness after a BM, consult with a pelvic floor physio! Many people don't even realize they have a tight pelvic floor, and pooping is like trying to squeeze your stools through a flexed muscle. Stay strong, exercise, stay hydrated, and give the coconut oil a shot. These things are horrible, so throw everything you can at them!

Hi I'm elliebutthurt and I have an anal fissure.

    Is this that kinda thing?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so I'm just going to start by saying that I've been feeling so alone with having this chronic anal fissure but I'm so glad I'm not the only one (although it's obviously bloody awful that we're all suffering with this horrible problem).

Mine started back in September 15. I'd been getting bright blood on the TP for months before hand but had no other issues (no pain) so figured I just had a sore somewhere. Then I went travelling over two months, did LOTS of walking and ate reasonably well. Then I came home early December and had no full time job so sat around quite a bit, became pretty lazy and ate whatever was in the house and drank next to no water. That's when I started to gget constipation and started to bleed a lot more from the back passage. Just after Christmas I started to get a lot of pain so I visited the doc and was told it was an anal fissure. I started taking lactulose which actually didnt help me so I then went onto suppositories but nothing was doing the trick. I used sudocrem after going to the loo which just soothed it but the doc told me it would heal within a couple of weeks so I just stuck with it. Well nothing got better and so early January I went to another doc who gave me laxido and an ointment called Rectogesic which gave me severe headaches and dizziness so I stopped with that but continued the laxido fast forward to last Sunday (after trying gluten free, more fibre for over a month and no healing etc) I had a BM after a day without one and OH HOLY HOLE after 10 minutes I felt like someone was literally stabbing me up the butt. It was awful, by the end I was too exhausted to continue with the pain and took some paracetamol and fell asleep. The next day the pain came back, it was so severe I lost all control of my bladder and p*ssed myself in my favourite pyjama bottoms (gutted). I ended up going to the hospital where a doc tried to have a look but I had a scream off with the ladies giving birth and almost bit the doctors finger off with my sphincter. He ended up prescribing me with another random ointment which is actually unliscenced here in the uk so I have to wait 5 days for it and until then I'm on a liquid/soft squishy food diet.

I'm really sorry for the very long story but I haven't told anyone apart from my partner about it in the much detail and half of it is the embarrassment so getting it off my chest and out there helps. You don't even have to read it just let me pretend haha.

The main thing I'm intrigued about is the coconut oil suppositories. Sometimes it confuses me that you can just stick this stuff up your butt.

Does anyone have any other tips about healing chronic anal fissures or just pain relief or anything....

Thanks for listening to the story about my butt.

I will be taking your advice as soon as possible ! I am currently experiencing this ! Thanks

Thank you for this Advice. Im gonna try it and hope it works for me. Thanks

Hi Morris, I am currently lying in a hot bath with coconut oil in about to try your method!

I have literally tried everything except this, spending in excess of £150 on creams, ointments, gels etc (none of which have worked).

Although my GP says the fissure has healing skin around it and it is "on the mend" it's not mending nearly quick enough for me!

I'm a 6'1 16 stone semi pro rugby player who has had his fair share of broken bones, snapped tendons etc, but have never in my life felt pain like this before.

I'm so fed up its unreal!

Unbelievable that this was the result of an out of date cheese savoury sandwich.

Anyway, I hope this works, it's hard to talk about with a group of rugby lads believe it or not.

    Cheers, Ian.

Oh Ian, I feel your pain.  I just wanted to pop on and give you some encouragement.

You make me feel better about your strength as a Rugby player and how this pain tops anything you encountered in the game.

I had a fissure last year and the pain was so sever, it nearly made me want to jump in front of a train - I didn;t think I could bare it one more day.  But a year later, I am right as rain.  (It did not take the full year!)

The coconut oil i a hot bath does help, but what REALLY helped me was isolating the treatment.  Get yourself a sitz bath - about £10 on Amazon.  Fill it with very hot water and a spoonful of cocnut oil and just sit on it an soak - I did this very very frequently as it soothes the pain as much as it helps heal.  Some say it stings - I didn;t notice - hard to top the pain of the fissure.  I used this method for a long time.  It took ages to heal - but it did heal.

I have had over 20 surgeries on my life, some quite major - and the pain of the fissure had them all beat, without a doubt.  Unless someone experiences it its unimaginable that you can tolerate such agony on a day to day - hour to thour, minute to minute basis.

Good luck - hang in there - it will get better.  I have spent hte last year a bit paranoid - if I sense any sign of constipation I freak out - so be good to your bowels afterwards - reallllllllllllllly let that sucker heal cause you do not want a repeat!!

Thanks for the encouragement! Yeah, it is hard to explain to people who have never been through it. I have kind of been describing it as if someone is holding a lit cigarette between your bum cheeks! A constant burning pain. It seems worse when I am stood still for too long so have to keep sitting down.

I've actually blacked out twice from the pain, it's been just over 4 weeks now from the actual start, fed up doesn't even come close.

I got immediate relief after suffering for 18 months just by doing a few things that I found on this forum

      1) Bought Virgin Raw Coconut Oil from Whole Foods and apply 3 times a day to both the outside and inside of anal. whenever it feel itchythat means a scab has formed on the fissures and its trying to heal. keep it clean by washing it in a Bate or in the tub but do not touch it with tissue or towels it may reopen.

      2) Drink a table spoon of Olive Oil in the morning before eating, afternoon before eating, and evening before going to bed. It will immediately help eliminate hard stool.

      3) drink at least 5 to 6 cups of water a day. Again will immediately eleiminate hard stool if you are also taking the olive oil.

      4) Exercise, I run a mile and it helps move food through my digestion system. You will see results in 24 hours.

      5) Make sure you apply additional coconut oil on anal before you defacate just to be on the safe side, and make sure you wash anal with water after defacating. If you do not it will irritate your anal and may reopen scab that is healing from the coconut oil. After washing with water reapply coconut oil.

This worked for me immediately. I only spent $10 on the jar of coconut oil. And got immediate relief and still doing this everyday because I never want to experience discomfort again.  Lol...
