HOW TO CURE ANAL FISSURE QUICKLY...

Hi Everyone - I can tell you how to cure Anal Fissure's quickly...
Firstly, my experience was horrible just like everyone else. I have read that it can be more painful than childbirth! Mine started from an overly large bowel movement that ripped me in 3 places. The pain was so bad that i passed out on my bathroom floor with blood and feecies hanging out of me when i woke up. The doctor gave me suppositories and anasthetic cream but nothing was working. I have concucted a reigime that has cured it in nearly three days. When i read on forums that it can take a few weeks i said to my self 'There is no way im living with this pain for that long'! EVERYTHING HURTS.... Sneezing, Laughing, Coughing, Walking, Sitting, Lying down... the list goes on... follow these steps and it cleared up 3 days.
1. Your going to need a few things from the shop - The first is Anusol Cream (despite people saying its not as good as preperation H and other stuff its has worked wonders for this reigime and is designed for anal fissures and hemeroids. The second is COCONUT OIL (MAGIC STUFF).... Anchient chinese cultures still use this to heal wounds of all kinds and this really was the turn around stuff for me. Thirdly... Ibuprofen for temporary pain relief and lastly Dulcolax tablets... I will show you how to use all these products for a quick repair in a minute...
2. Psychology ... DO NOT sit at home and wollow in pain and sadness. Go to work, see your friends, live a normal life but be careful. Positive mentality keeps you relaxed and promotes healing. When i was at work i barely felt any pain because i was so distracted, but when i was at home it was constant pain. Make sure you do this, im certain this has really helped. Also do not be affraid to tell people exactly whats wrong with you, i have found great amusment talking to people about it and 6/7 of the people i spoke to had been sufferers too, its nice to know your not the only one and you can see them well and happy!
Here is my reigime that saved me:
1. The night before take 1-2 of the Dulcolax, it doesnt kick in until the morning but you need this so you dont damage yourself further. It is not a laxative it makes it all soft and squidgy and it just falls outta you. Minimal pain.
2. In the morning your gonna need to have a bowel movement, before you do. Run a bath and put a few table spoons of cocnut oil in it. (hot bath), then have your bowel movement. Mine was too painful to wipe so as soon as i finished i hopped in the bath and the water IMMEDIATELY relives the pain (BLISS).. and the coconut oil moisturises and heals. Stay in there for a good 10-20 minutes and then i promise you it wont be hurting as much now so now you can apply the anusol cream.
3. Before you head off to work or start your day, take 2 ibuprofen. After all this, it will sting a little but by day 3 you can barely feel anything.
4. Make sure you take your ibuprofen after breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had high fibre cereal for breakfast, water all day normal lunch and whatever for dinner.
5. Make sure you re-apply cream if you have a bowel movement during the day. I tried to just have one in the morning so i could not aggrovate my anus too much.
6. After dinner, take your ibuprofen, run a bath with coconut oil and just sit and relax for as long as you can (make sure you put NOTHING in your bath except the cocnut oil as soaps and stuff can dry you out and make it worse).
7. Before bed, take your dulcolax again drink plenty of water and get good nights sleep.
This regime has fixed me in 2 1/2 days pretty much which i found amazing (i think it was the cocnut oil, which stings like a bitch but is AMAZING, i doesnt numb pain but it promotes healing). I am so pleased to be living a normal life again so quickly as i thought i would never be the same again. It is really important you dont fester at home doing nothing as it will only make it worse, go out, see the world and forget that its there.
Hope this helps people as it has really helped me and i wanted to share this with others.
Hope you all feel better soon! Keep smiling and never give up!!
Peace & Love

I read somewhere that someone was finding it to irritate more than help and seeing as I was making slow progress I thought I'd give it a go. I had been using it for four weeks.
My news is that my fissure has gone. I am even drinking a glass of wine to celebrate!!! Four days of coconut caplustes used as supposutries has healed it. Morris's baths did not work for me, I think because one of mine was very internal. I cannot express my gratitude for this discovery enough.
If this info can be spread and help others I would be so happy.

That is very good news and very encouraging.
It is great to hear that some methods work, thank you very much for keeping in touch.
I have been using Rectogesic for just over week so i will give it a bit longer and carry on using the coconut oil bath while using finger cots to apply internal as well.
Good luck and Cheers from me xx

Like I was saying I tried many different sites but never found a good solution...by accident I stumbled across this board and it woke me up. Also I considered the possibility of surgery but I checked a scary YouTube video where they cut your inner sphincter muscle to relax it so your fissure can heal. Seemed really extreme, drastic and scary. Besides I woke up to the realisation that I just need to keep my inner ring relaxed and that would do the trick. Along with using the 'Sitz bath' as recommended here....worked wonders! For once in a very long time I have no pain when I go to the bathroom and no tearing/bleeding. I'm not healed yet because I only instituted this therapy for over a week now but the change has been amazing.
What I didn't know before was that it take about 6-8 wks for the fissure to heal. In the past when I got better, I went back to my 'old habits' and boom, my fissure would open up again and I'm be back to square one. I was scared that it might stop healing again if it happened too often. Anyways I'm very glad to report that the bleed has stopped. Oh the big factor is DIET....if you're taking care of 'both ends' dealing with what you're eating, it's not going to make any difference.
Months ago I relied on Senekot and Metamucil for stool softening but they weren't that great-not very reliable and I didn't want my body's digestive system to get messed up due to overuse...so I'd use them for a few days and stop. Then I decided to go the natural way and found what worked best for me was pitted prunes and bananas. Then I eat anything I want and the more fruit I eat, the better it works.
Anyone that's gone through something like this would know how scary and painful it is. Plus it's not something we want to share with anyone until things got out of control.
Anyhow I'll stop my rambling shortly. I went through the trouble of creating this account to thank all those who voiced their opinion on here-it really made a difference to me. Seriously 2 weeks ago, I though nothing could work for me I was desperate and hopeless and thought I'd have to maybe get surgery or god knows what....but it's thanks to the advice here and other sites, that I was able to tackle this problem and almost solve it. I'll know for sure in 2 mths when I hope to be fully healed but I learned my lesson and not to take it lightly.
When I first got the fissure about 2 yrs ago, it was a small cut. Had I done my research and took immediate action, I would've fixed it right away...I'm mad at myself for ignoring it and not being more disciplined. Anyways best of luck to anyone suffering, but do take the advice here to heart.
I considered getting all the medicines and remedies mentioned but simple mind control-mental relaxation when I 'went', combined with sitting a warm bath was enough to put me on the path to healing. Now I'm feeling great-like my old self, almost...not 100% but I'm very optimistic. So hopefully in a couple of months I'll be healed and back to enjoying my life fully again. Best of luck to all.

But to reiterate, the technique I used really worked for me...so I wanted to share my knowledge to encourage anyone who is in a similar situation to learn from this board and take our advice and overcome your pain and suffering.

For me that meant a complete reset/back to square one with the healing (fortunately I had little to no pain so the tearing wasn't deeper). After those slip-ups I decided to become militaristic in my routine and I consider the beginning of August as the real start to my healing (since it was the last time I bled).
Things have been going really good so far. I feel much more at easy and it's clear my strict discipline with myself has been paying off extremely well so far. 3 weeks in and I'm feeling almost normal-but I know it'll take at least 2 or 3 months to fully heal up, if not more. So for that reason I am going to continue to remain strict with myself and hopefully I'll be fine in a couple more months. This is a great feeling-it's been about 2 years since I had this problem and while it took time to get it right, at least I was able to and didn't need to go see a doctor and deal with that headache.
I still seriously regret not taking the initial tear more seriously-it was very, very tiny and had I been this disciplined in the beginning, I wouldn't have developed a fissure at all, it would've just been a superficial cut that would've rehealed in a few weeks. Hard lesson learned.
The other thing that really concerns me is my diet-that's pretty much what cause it to happen in the first place. So I might have to see a doctor about why I get so constipated-that's never happened to me in the past, I've always been pretty normal/regular. Something happened to me physically in the past 2 years so I will probably have to find out or I might end up back to square one again if my digestive system isn't corrected.
Right now the increase in fruit has fixed the problem, but hopefully it isn't something more serious. I might re-post in a month or two for an update-hopefully by then this problem will be solved. I can sense I'm not healed yet because I feel a little weakness in the area so I'm still being careful.

I do want to caution, as a registered nurse (RN) use a STOOL SOFTENER. Dulcolax is a common brand that has a STOOL SOFTENER ONLY version, or one that also has a laxative in it...look at the label, taking a LAXATIVE daily can promote dependence, the only thing you should take daily is a STOOL SOFTENER....dependence can cause you to not be able to have a bowel movement without a laxative.
Colace, Surfak in the US are brand names of stool softeners, but store brands (Walgreens, CVS, etc) are good too...they do not contain any laxative, and are wonderful for softening the stool inside you, so that when it passes, as someone else describes, it's just all squishy....I take one twice a day to keep my stools soft when I get into a situation where my irritable bowel is not causing me to have diarrhea. That's when my fissures flare up, when I have firmer BMs, that and sitting a lot.

I gave up on all the rememdys, I must be honest. I tried the creams, antiinflammatory enemas, epsom salts, etc. Maybe they all helped. I think the biggest thing that helped was watching what I ate and time.
Time really feels like the only thing that healed me. For the past month all I have done is watch what I ate and take the occassional Dulcoease softener - Movicol was too powerful and ll it did was make my poo watery and frequent which only made the situation worse.
While I still go frequently, due mostly to a shortened bowel, at least with the Dulcoease it resembles something closer to normal poo.
Anyway - there were days I was losing hope that I would ever be out of pain.
This was the worst, most soul destroying, painful, impossible situation, and I have sheer sympathy for anyone in the midst of it now. But it WILL get better - but you must be prepared to wait quite a long time, which is the cold hard truth.
If I can make one suggestion that will save your sanity - do not look to the future - months can seem forever and will make you depserate, particuarly during a very painful period. In so much pain, loooking so far ahead to when it would be over made me want to end it all. There were days.....
So just take ONE day at a time - just get through TODAY, and then tomorrow. Take the pressure of a long healing period away and only deal with it one day at a time. As soon as I did that, I started to feel better mentally. It was hard to do - because all you want is for this to end - but it really did make a HUGE difference in my attitude and mental health, which was on a steep decline.
I still have some pain, I think mostly attributed to skin tag, which I will be discussing with the doctor today on y last follow up. (Hopefuly last).
Good luck everyone. This truly is an awful awful thing for anyone to have to go through, an dunles you have - no one has a CLUE how bad it is. I hope you all find your way through it. xx

I would like to say as well diet is soooo important, keep your fibre and water up.....High fibre cereal, brown bread/rolls and lots of veg/fruit. I would have Shreddies for breakfast, chicken, tuna or Salmon in wholemeal rolls for lunch, then a bit more of a normal lunch but stacking up the veg (brocoli, carrots, peas etc. Snacks of apples, bananas and oranges.
REALLY IMPORTANT is water drinks loads through the day a cup an hour or at least 2 and half litres.
For me Rectogesic cream and coconut oil for 3 weeks worked, i got the all clear from doctor on Monday and now i can finally see a future. I kept a diary of everything i did and eat i can't actually look back just yet but look forward to doing it soon and realise how good life is now....but dont want to rist it yet.
Good luck to all...be patient and keep chatting on these sites it helps knowing we are not alone and some excellent advice

Yes, Coconut oil does sting , the capsules even have a gentle burning sensation but I swear they are the business.
There is a new book out i heard on the radio called The Gut. It has a whole chapter on the back passage. Talks about the importance or pooing without pressure. Not pushing but lettng peristalsis do its work was definately part of my healing. Stops the retearing. I am better with the occasional blip when i let myself get constipated. But nothing like it was, nothing at all.
This thread is amazing, such good advice. we could write a book!
Stick in there. One day at a time is just where it is at.

When I initially heard the $536 price I said damn that and googled, finding a product called Forces of Nature Fissure Control that I could order through Walgreens. It contains homeopathic agents HarnamelisVirginiana 6x (supposed to relieve hemorroidal pain),
Calendula Officialis 6x (supposed to promote healthy skin) and German Chamomile, Helichrymsum, Sesame and Lavender oils. a drop 2-4 times a day for roids and fissures pain, inflamation and itching. $24.
I've been doing the sitz baths after defecation.
The last two days I was feeling much better - didn't need to shift my weight off my butt while driving, etc. And then yesterday something caused it to stretch and I shreiked and it's sore again.
I apparently have stage 3 roids that I have to coax back in after elimination. I think they are part of the fissue problem. The proctologist said they were seperate but I think not. I'm starting to think I probably need the staple surgery done but I don't want to be laid up for another week or two - if I can get by like this for another week or two.
For stool softeners, they recommended Mirolax which I guess is a combo laxative and softener.

I had a Fissurectomy/Sphincterotomy. Laser Surgery. That was back in May 2014. I’m fully healed now. No more pain or burning.
