I amazed

Hi, I bought a gel that I saw advertised on TV. It was advertised as relief for tired, sore, heavy and aching legs. It is called Loiton and its herbal. It's supposed to cool and sooth, take away pain, swelling and redness.

Well, it does all that. But the most amazing thing it does is, it has almost disappeared my scar!

Its not got anything about scars on the box. But my scar is now flat and smooth and pale.

I put it on after exercising and it's like icing without the ice. The cool feel doesn't last as long as ice, but it's nice.

I went online and found only one distributor for loiton in the US and the do not carry a gel of any sort. They have a cream that is described as pain relief. Also have stuff for migraine headaches, pregnant women's tummies etc., bath salts and bath relaxers but nothing for legs. Oh well,i might order the pain cream. Not expensive so can go in the drawer with the other stuff if it doesn't work. It did give the ingredients which included aloe vera and vit e which might explain the healing effect on the scar

Apparently its sold OTC in some countries but must not meet some kind of approval in the US. I did find it retail at Chemart but of course that isn't a retail enity here. Did find a picture of the box and description of of the ingredients which were definately not the ingredients of the cream I originally found from a US distributor. It's really strange as this probably wouldn't fall under our regulating agency the FDA as it is non medicinal by definition.  Still might try the cream

I'm not so sure about the FDA - it has heparinoid in it which is like heparin and reduces clotting. Not sure how your classification works though, since I can buy melatonin in the USA OTC but not over here in Europe. Cortisone creams are the same - below a certain % you can buy them, above that you need a prescription. Very confusing!!!

sounds yummy......I'll have a tablespoon full on my oatmeal. Don't see anything in there that would be dangerous unless ingested.

After reading the box I noticed that it says to use it twice a day. I used it about 5 times yesterday.

Maybe I have found the thing that works for me. Yesterday my knee was 2 cams bigger than my good one, now it's 1cm bigger. My scar is very pale and noticeably flatter. The pain lessens for around 30 mins after I apply it.

We are all different, but I hope it works for you. I will be buying more.

I liked Sydney - need another meeting for the husband in Oz  so I can do the Perth end! The 4 weeks we spent there last time were great!
