So great I am so grateful to see this post. Just today at my doctors appointment, I thought I was also dying. So I am now getting blood work to confirm that most of this is menopause related. I Googled because I just could not believe that menopause could make me feel this crappy and anxious. Thanks, All, for your responses.

Good luck Emmee it’s all a gamble once you get your blood work done then it’s like a military operation trying to find the right combination for you if you do need hormones .

      Hi Maria

I get everyrhing. Worst symptoms for me is in the morning when I get up I feel like fainting and go all pale and a feeling of malaise. Lately have got nausea too. I have just started testosterone cream. A very low dose as I am very delicate. Where do u live. I am in Australia. It seems to me that in america they are very advanced with bioidentical hormones. Here not so much and that is the problem.

      Hi

Can u list all your symptoms when u have time and I will too. 59 now and it seems to never end. I don't work but if I had to I don't know how I could. Are u Italian. I am and I get feeling u are too

I would find a new dr ... you can try a low dose HRT or BHRT that’s too long to be going through so much pain

      Hi Eleonora

No, im not Italian but you are close, Im greek? and i have a large number of family members in Melbourne. My husband is Italian!

My symptoms... where to I begin!! I had symptoms that came and gone and i have some that continuing coming back every few months for the past 8 years.

In the first year , the most common were: dry mouth, itchy skin, hives. Then start getting stomach issues right after that start feeling sad, moody and anti social!! I didnt feel i wanted to talk or visit with anyone, start gaining some weight!! Then start having anxiety and panic attacts, ear pain, neck and shoulder issues, not sleeping more then 4 hours dry throat, not able too swallow , leg pain, BP all over the place, flu like symptoms.. its been couple of years that the sadness and the mood swings are gone...and i start having issues with my sinus im always cold, vision trouble..some days is fine and others i can't see anything without my glasses..all the symptoms above pretty much gone, right before my period i might get afew popping up but thats it..now the only ones that really bothering me the most are: headaches, frozen shoulders, and getting stressed over every little thing! Also , my heart rate some days is down to 60's and some days can reach 90's!!! I have a drs appt tomorrow to see about this neck and headache..i had a scan done 2 years ago for the same thing, but my health anxiety is so bad, right now thinking the worst! The past year i missed my period twice and i was so happy thinking im done but no!!! Still here like a clock work every 26 days! !!

I'm hoping, eventually everything will slow down and life become semi normal...also im getting so forgetful!!! I hate it! I see some improvements , my weight went down and start living a bit and being social!! I stopped coffee, sugars and alcohol!! Watch what i eat and i walk every day!!

I used to get bad menstrual migraines and used to have my mom send MAXALT from UK as they are $50 a pill here . I took half a pill and migraine gone within an hour . Great stuff and always have them on hand .

Hi maria. I hear u. The only symptom I have not got YET is dry mouth but everything else i have got on and off. Also i have heartbeat in my ear at nite sometimes, flushing red burning feet which is first symptom of menopause that I had at51 and fainting feeling like and pale in the morning which is very debilitating. Panic attacks are awful and mine come with feeling of passing out with paleness. It is very scary at times. To make all worse my son who lives with us and I would not have it any other way, has severe bipolar. We shower etc him. He is 33 and illness started at puberty 16. He was bullied a lot at school and docs sat maybe that was the trauma. Meds don't help much and we have seen best docs but it is trial and error. So yes I didn't need this menopause stuff. I ha e enough. Fortunately I have been married for 40years and hubby is great. Are u married. Do u have kids. Do u work. If I had to work I don't know how I could.
