I have the cure for Raynauds

Let me tell you I had full blown Raynaud's. I'd need roughly one hour recovery from an attack. Blue fingers white fingers, pain - the lot. I've got low blood pressure so I can't take medication. I have to go to hospital for a week for iloprost infusion. Anyway let me tell you what cured me. I take 3 pills. Butcher's broom, odorless garlic and gingko bilboa. I had been taking just Gingko (which didn't work) but I was advised to take Butchers Broom in Holland and Barret, they also said buy fish oil but I didn't like the thought. Anyway, it's only been 5 days but you could describe me as having bad circulation now but not Raynauds. I've washed my hands with cold water, gone out without my mittens and I'm ok. I went to an event and minutes after entering I was shaking hands. My hands were warm!! You cannot imagine what it feels like to not have cold hands anymore. I was ready to saw my fingers off. This 'spring' has been awful but now I'm no colder than anyone else . Please buy these natural remedies, it'll change your life. Please comment once you're cured too.

Just wondered if you continued with the three pills and is it still working for you? I'm 36 and each year my flare ups seems to get worse and worse. Flare ups are more frequent and larger areas are affected. I am going to take your advice, just wanted to see if you have had continued success? Even with wool socks and ugg boots on, my toes are still flaring up and it's not even that cold out. I don't even know what it feels like to have warms hands. I'm hoping this works!!

Hi sophia10...my 14 year old son has been exhibiting the same things you described above. He is so active!! loves to play baseball, basketball and swim at the beach so you can only imagine how difficult this whole thing has been for him. I was so excited when I found your post; God is so good!!! it was an answer to my prayers; can you tell me how much you take of gingo, Butcher's Broom and odorless garlic you take and how often; do you have any specific suggestions because he is so young...are these safe for him to take?? thanks

My mom has Raynauds, so I'd like to try this with her. Are you sure it works?

I've had fairly bad Raynaud's for several years but now find myself apparently cured this winter and have just got through a very cold snap with no problems at all. I can only put it down to my current regime of gingko tablets and fish oil capsules (both cheap and not very high dose), but the joker in the pack might be acupuncture. I've been having it for a few months, not for Raynaud's, but part of the work was to improve my circulation, so that might well have had an effect. Just passing this on in case it's useful for someone else.

In researching possible causes I became aware that caffeine consumption does have a possible side effect that should not be overlooked. Blood vessel constriction, also known as vasoconstriction. Something to keep in mind.

For those who don't like the thought of tasting fish oil, try Coromega orange flavor squeeze packets.

What I have read is that Reynaldo can be caused by different conditions, so my results may not match for others.
I was starting to be effected on both hands, mainly the index finger: in not even that cold of weather, finger would tingle, then numb and white. My knuckles especially the index was almost always purple. My doc thought maybe I had gout.
Well after thinking maybe I was drinking a bit too much on a nightly basis, I cut back on that, and started taking a time release B vitamin complex. My symptoms evaporated in about a week and have not returned. I live in Minnesota so in winter your fingers are always going to get cold.
I have nothing to back this up other than I don't suffer from it anymore, and I started the B vitamins mainly from a discussion with someone about how alcohol will deplete them.

Glad I found this page, I live in London and have never met another person who suffers with Raynauds so always felt very alone with this condition. I am just trialing a daily dose of Tahittian Noni juice at the moment but I have very little faith in this. And I don't buy into the stress / fitness thing too much either. I am the fittest person I know and have never had any symptoms other than in the cold. It's temparature that triggers it for me plain and simple - nothing else.
I kind of forget I have it during the summer months but come October I am back on Ebay buying box loads of hand warmers. When out in the cold I wear 2 pairs of gloves with hand warmers between the layers. If it's very cold I have to clench my fists to get my finger tips pressed onto the hand warmer (which is in the palm). But the heat does radiate inside the gloves too.
I have read a few articles on the connection between root canals and focal infections and Raynauds. But is there any evidence of anyone ever returning to a root canal and having the area retreated and then recovering from Raynauds?

I am 58 and for the past two years I have not taken my medication for Raynauds and there is six months of winter
where I live. Medication helped but I still suffered terribly. What I have been taking for the past two years is Vitamin D3 (2000 iu a day), fish oil, salmon oil, vitamin K2 (100 mcg ), chlorella (500 mg and make sure it it cracked wall or broken cell wall), and of course magnesium and calcium due to my age. Get good quality vitamins without a bunch of fillers, make sure the fish oil is murcury free and the salmon oil is 100% wild Alaskan, I get mine in capsule form. I also start my morning with a cup of hot, fresh sqeezed lemon juice and honey. I still have to put on more outer wear than the average person but I am medication free and so much better than I was for decades. Many times I was in tears from the severe joint pain and there were times that I wanted my fingers removed just to stop the pain, I even had the painful swealing to the point I thought my skin was going to split. Many years ago I was told to quit my job, stay indoors and soak my hands in warm water every two hours. That was not an option for me and it's not an option for most people. I hope this information may be of some help to others.

In hindsight, it's been my entire life. It just kept progessively getting worse the older I got. In my mid twenties when I started curling I found I couldn't stay on the ice unless I had on windbreaker pants, heavy coat and gloves. Couldn't do anything about my curling shoes so my feet were like icecubes. I would get teased that I was a wimp and at the time I thought I was a wimp. In my mid thirties I knew I wasn't normal but living in a small town, the doctors I seen had no clue what the real problem was. By my late thirties I almost lost a few of my fingers due to "frost bite" and my knuckles were already getting deformed. I was sent to a Rhumatiod Artherites specialist and he put the peices together and I finally had a proper diagnosis, I was put on nefedipine and fortunately I didn't get the bad headaches that a lot of people get. Even on the medication my finger joints hurt so bad and my feet were always in pain. A few years ago my doctor had x-rays of hands taken because my index fingers were still twisting more and swollen as they do with Artheritis, Yet the x-rays didn't show the bone deterioration. I started taking a drugstore multi vitamin hoping it would help but I had a REALLY bad experience with that. I started researching individual vitamins and minerals and all the crap fillers and binders that are put in most multi vitamins (not good). The one thing that clicked with me was the lack of sunshine most of us get. It may be summer with the sunshining but we're inside working. In the winter it's cold so we are bundled up or inside. Plus everyone is buying into the "stay out of the sun, it causes wrinkles and cancer". Since you live in London I assume you don't get a lot of sunshine on your body. I live in central Alberta, Canada. I have also been a very healthy person (other than I do smoke, which is a big no, no). I understand when you say you feel very alone with this condition. Most doctors have never heard of it. In my experience it gets worse with age and I truely believe that supplementing with Vitamin D3 was the smartest thing I ever did. The other vitamins I listed have been benificial to me also. When I remember I also add some liquid trace minerals to my water or juice. I used to believe we get what we need from natural foods but I have educated myself on what man kind has done to kill what should be in our food. My reason for going on this forum in the first place is to help people if I can. There is no cure but if a few correct choises in vitamins can help, I say "I wish I'd had more information when I was younger".

Hi Lorjay,
I need your help if possible. I have a bag full of meds that i am reluctent to take because of side affects. I would prefer trying it the natural way before turning to a lifetime of chemicals. Not to say that medicine aren't helpful but its so hard to live off of things that may cause more harm then good in the future. Please contact me if possible.

Hi Sophia, I realise your post was over a year ago, I was wondering how you are getting on with the herbal treatment ?
I have been diagnosed with raynauds phenomena, I've have symptoms of raynauds for over 20 years, this last year it has been horrendous, doctors have put me on nifedipine, it isn't agreeing with me, although it's helping the blood flow the side affects are very unpleasant.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Many thanks Jenny

Hi Sophie. Great news! Thank you. You only mention cold hands, do you have cold feet and cold nose to?
are you sure that you had Raynauds and perhaps not some other form of similar illness.
I don't mean to question your answer but I have tried many things and suffer greatly and would love to encounter the cure but not to chase another dream.
How long have you been taking these things and how long do you need to continue. Have you stopped to check whether it comes back or not.
Thank you for all your response.
yours sincerely Randolph

I can't think of a similar condition that gives you cold fingers. Can you?
