I have the cure for Raynauds

Let me tell you I had full blown Raynaud's. I'd need roughly one hour recovery from an attack. Blue fingers white fingers, pain - the lot. I've got low blood pressure so I can't take medication. I have to go to hospital for a week for iloprost infusion. Anyway let me tell you what cured me. I take 3 pills. Butcher's broom, odorless garlic and gingko bilboa. I had been taking just Gingko (which didn't work) but I was advised to take Butchers Broom in Holland and Barret, they also said buy fish oil but I didn't like the thought. Anyway, it's only been 5 days but you could describe me as having bad circulation now but not Raynauds. I've washed my hands with cold water, gone out without my mittens and I'm ok. I went to an event and minutes after entering I was shaking hands. My hands were warm!! You cannot imagine what it feels like to not have cold hands anymore. I was ready to saw my fingers off. This 'spring' has been awful but now I'm no colder than anyone else smile. Please buy these natural remedies, it'll change your life. Please comment once you're cured too.

Where can I get the Butchers Broom? Your symptoms are the same as mine. It is painful and debilitating. I never had an infusion for this condition iloprost? Thank you for your note.

I'm also suffering from Raynauds Syndrome on bottoms of toes - open sores. Dr has just given numbing shots & drugs - which don't help & make me sick! Finally listened to husband: he made a paste of fresh garlic, applied it with q-tip on sores & wrapped with gauze. Just about gone after 3 days!! Been suffering for 2 months & didn't want stinky feet haha!! Hope this helps someone - it absolutely works!! Also wear heavy sox after garlic treatment tteatment.

Hi You guys. Have been reading all the answers to this uncomfortable illness.

i do not have it in the fingers but in the toes and it is there almost 24/7.

i sleep well. Just get numbness and toe swelling in shoes. I live in the Snowy mountains in Australia. I can ski and cycle etc. but at home and walking around I get the numbness. The acute pain shots have gone maybe because I have given up alcohol 3 months ago. I do not know. I appreciate that a f you have it worse. Maya mother had it on her fingers. She was in a lot of pain come winter,

    keep punching you all.

    Kind Regards,

    Romski

I have been taking 120 mg of ginkgo, 940 mg of butcher's broom, and one odorless garlic tablet per day since I read about it on this site (but please, you don't need to take the high doses some people mentioned) and my symptoms in my fingers and toes have all gone.  I also take 200 mg of magnesium, which I have been using as a supplement for quite a while already.  Coffee seems to have an adverse effect--my toes turned blue after 2 cups--but alcohol doesn't seem to affect it.  Mayo Clinic has a good site which gives the alternatives approved by Mayo, which are ginkgo and garlic.

I have raynauds I have tried the butchers' broom, aged garlic, and ginkgo for the last two months. It has not worked for me in the slightest.

We are all individuals, and not everything works for everyone. Mayo Clinic’s website recommends ginkgo and garlic as alternatives, but I hope you are not taking high doses of ginkgo, as it is an anti platelet agent and decreases blood clotting. One capsule is enough.

Coffee aggrevates mine, and my fingers/toes turn blue as soon as I drink a few cups. Keep trying different remedies but be sensible about it.

    Hi guys

I'd been trying the OP's mix of butchers broom+horse chestnut+vine leaves (and I was already taking ginko; no garlic capsules but I eat a lot of garlic, I also eat a lot of magnesium rich food to help with restless legs).

Unfortunately after a week or so I started feeling very dizzy which was terrible in front of a computer at work. I read that one of the common side effects of Horse Chestnut was dizziness, so I stopped taking that.

I've continued with the rest but it's not helping with my Raynauds.

I really don't want to take something as extreme/unnatural as nifedipine (assuming I can even get it/be prescribed it in the UK - took a long time for the doc to even acknowledge it 'might be' Raynauds - clearly is!) but I had noticed that one of IT's side effects is dizziness too. Apparently it normally passes after 2-3 days of dizziness.

I can't seen to find any similar information anywhere for Horse Chestnut. Perhaps the dizziness will pass with that after a few days too? Nifedipine works differently though - it's a calcium channel blocker. It seems Horse Chestnut isn't / helps with Raynauds in a different way (from what I've been able to establish). So not sure that the dizziness will pass.

Anyone have any experience/knowledge about Horse Chestnut and dizziness? Might it pass? It was a really horrible feeling and I don't want to experience it again if I can help it, but if there's a high chance the dizziness will pass after 3 days and it may help with Raynauds then perhaps I should try it again...?

    Thanks!

      Hi Mrrossi

Where you get the information on butchers broom, horse chestnut and vine leaves from?.

      Hi Frank

      Sophia's second post said:

The garlic is 200mg, the gingko is 3000mg . The capusle of butchers broom+horse chestnut+vine leaves has 420, 240 & 140 respectively, which I got from Holland & Barratt. I took 2 of them daily as advised. The gingko and garlic are from Boots.

Please don’t be taking that much ginkgo. That must be a typo, one 240 mg capsule is enough. Ginkgo is an anti platelet agent, and it decreases your blood clotting.
