    Hello Victoria

the surgery itself is pretty easy and routine....by that I mean a very practiced procedure and usually no adverse side effects.   what type of lenses are you getting?

    Nancy,

I had both eyes done in February about three weeks apart. The worst if you are concerned is the eye drops... which stings a little, but easy to live with.

I had the Symfony Tecnis Lens inserted... and now have excellent vision in both eyes, and glasses are history. I am 68 years old and really didn't worry about the surgery, I had watched a news program from our local broadcasting area on the benefits of the new lens and I guess I got so excited to think I could improve my eye sight that I never got nerved up over it. All will be behind you before you know it. I had no pain... and all gain. 😉

Yippee yay. So so happy for you. Do you feel as if you have a bionic eye now?😊 God bless you too and take good care of that eye now.

My glasses are bifocals that I'm still wearing them until...It's weird but when I look through the bottom part of glasses with op-eye it's BEAUTIFUL! We'll see after all is said and done but I'm very hopeful! lol @bionic eye! lol

I guess so. I accidently put the drops in my eye together...you are supposed to wait 5 min between them.

Of course. Don't panic if I don't respond immediately. I may be out in the yard weeding or something?
