I NEVER feel hungry, can this be anything other than cancer? Distraught

Hello, I am a 25 year old male, I've searched the internet high and low but there doesn't seem to be any reassurance out there for me. I lost my appetite seeminly over night about 3 months ago. Over that time I have seen 4 different doctors and they have presribed various things like laxatives and acid reflux as I have also had mild digestive complaints on and off. None of these have had boosted my appetite though. I still enjoy eating and do so to keep my energy levels up, but I never actually get hungry and sometimes I get bloated after meals. I also had a colonscopy (I requested it) to rule out colon cancer and it was all clear so the doctor just gave me anti-anxiety meds assuming my lack of appetite was psychological. Only thing is I'm convinced it's not and have seen another doctor who I persuaded to give me an ultrasound. Doctor doesn't seem too worried though and just seemed to imply I'm a hypochondria.
Assuming I am right about the lack of appetite being physical, can I really be anything else but cancer? I'm convinced what I am experiencing now is cachexia, or wasting from late stage cancer. I can't help but think it's pancreatic cancer with liver mets as I also have digestive complaints (have even had floating stools for a while now), I initially considered this just to excedingly rare in people my age but my symptoms just seems textbook. All in all just can't really believe this is happenning and I'm terrified about the ultrasound.

hello I am 16years old and seem to be experiencing the same exact thing as many people here. I do not feel hungry EVER, i joke around with my mom that i could live off of water but honestly its not a joke. I feel as i could go a month or more without eating. Even looking at food seems to make me sick but that feeling has went away to some extent. My mom makes me eat because as many of you she doesn't want me to starve myself even though i cant feel that im starving myself anyways. its been about a month and a half now since i havent been able to feel hungry but along with not feeling hungry i dont really feel full. when i do eat at all and expcically over eat i get abdominal pain and my stomach makes noises and gets crampy/uncomfortable. i was wondering if anyone has found an answer?? its upsetting to see many peoole have been going years without feeling hunger. also, has anyone discussed medical marijuana with their doctor?? i know weed isnt leagalized medically everywhere and i know "eating disorders" arnt listed as a reason to get a med card, atleast in pa its not. I feel as this is a nervous system problem more so then an eating disorder though.

If you have an allergy to grains then giving up makes sense. But not if you don't.

Hey ,
I had the exact same thing for about one week and half but I know the answer. I was worried sick that it could be cancer and I was never ever hungry suddenly. However your doctor is right its 100% ANXIETY. I really tried to change my mindset the past 2 days and I tried to get out of my head and my appetite slowly started coming back and now its fully back. The reason why you lost your appetite is two reasons, 1: When your anxious your not hungry 2: You are scared of eating and whatever you are scared of your body will avoid. If you noticed before you had these symtoms you didn't eat only when your hungry but you ate because you enjoy food, so when you don't enjoy it anymore you dont want to eat, which is what is happening to you. Before I had this issue I used to eat simply to enjoy and because I was bored etc but because your anxious you cant even do that and you think to yourself "no I need to be hungry to eat" this was never true, if humans only ate when they were hungry they would eat once or twice a day. ANYWAY, its ANXIETY, I have worse anxiety than you trust me and I thought I would never get out of this but I did because I realised it was my mind playing games. Trust me as much as you feel its physical, its not, its purely mental. Get better soon. I'm going around posting this message in similar forums because I know how terrible it feels and now I know the answer so I'm sharing it.

Hi everyone!
Looking for advice please!
I have been experiencing the same since December. I have lost that hunger feeling.
I don't know what i had before Christmas i have never felt ill in my life. I think i had the coronavirus, as i had a dry non stop cough, bad temperature last 4 days and muscle pains. It taken me 3 weeks to recover from this. I was sick as i was coughing non stop and brought up some blood in my phelgem few times. Stomach was sore because of coughing, I wonder if I torn my intestine? because of this i have lost my appetite?
Then i was experiencing upper abdomen bloated, I went to my GPs and gave me lazopazole tablets. They diagnosed me Gastritis. Still occasionally get bloated if i have too much dairy.
Before the lock-down I had a full blood test (twice) stool test and scans, all came back clear. I can't even make appointments face to face, because of the coronavirus!
I still weight the same, lost few inches around my waist. Just worried incase i have cancer because i have lost of my appetite. I eat because i need to keep going for my children.
Thank you reading this!!

I am a female and I am 23 years old. I lost most of my hunger last week. Id say what I'm feeling is mild hunger. Like barely once a day, but the hunger is usually in my head and not my stomach. I got for runs in the morning sometimes and am normally ravenous afterwords, like I have to eat right NOW! But those horrible hunger pains that I used to have are gone, and are only there a little now. Even when I should be starving. I DO NOT have an eating disorder. I love food and my bank account can definitely attest to that. Of course I've still been eating because I cant afford to get any skinnier because I'm already pretty small. I have had other concerning symptoms though. I've been having pretty bad night sweats for a couple of months, the kind so bad that when I get up my entire shirt is completely soaked through (moist not dripping) and my bed sheets are wet. I had to buy a waterproof covering for my brand new mattress because I was scared of ruining it with my disgusting sweating. I went to the doctor about my night sweats and she did a chest x-ray and some blood tests. They came back normal, she told me to come back if it continued to happen. It's been about a month and they haven't stopped, but about 3 weeks ago I was brushing my teeth and my gums starting bleeding. I thought that I was just too rough so I didn't really worry about it again. Until that night when I brushed my teeth again and it happened again. And again. And again. And now it's been 3 weeks and my gums not only bleed every time I brush my teeth but my mouth constantly tastes like metal and blood. My gums and mouth don't hurt at all and my gums are not swollen, if anything they are really pale. I looked up bleeding gums and it said that I may have gingivitis so I set up an appointment with my dentist at the end of this month. Then a week after my gums started bleeding and didn't stop I woke up one morning with my left leg, left knee, and right knee aching, along with my upper (between my shoulder blades) and lower back (above my butt); the middle of my back was fine. I started taking my temp and it went up to 100 for 2 nights in a row then when down to 99.6 and hasnt went up again (to the best of my knowledge). The pain was like the aches you get when you have the flu, but milder and with no fatigue or actual sickness, it lasted for two days. I assumed that I had slept wrong. I hadn't exercised recently (about 2 weeks) or done any extraneous activities. But the day after those went away I started getting these dull but sharp shooting pains in my left leg that have since spread to my entire body. It's weird because they aren't excruciating but they're just painful enough that I cant ignore them. They happened in my chest and the best way to explain it is that it feels like slow thick blood or fluid is moving around in my veins and it hurts and aches but is tolerable. I went with my momma and little sister to the mall this last weekend and I was soooooooo tired. Like I was constantly looking for somewhere to sit so that I could rest. I wasn't out of breath or anything but it was really weird and I was too tired to even get irritated with my momma and sister for wanting to go to so many stores. We were all wearing masks. I actually love shopping and we go pretty regularly. The fact that I was tired ALL DAY was EXTREMELY concerning because that has never happens to me and my momma noticed and thought that I was depressed and was REALLY concerned. I don't want to go to the doctor again. I think there is something wrong with my but I don't really know for sure and my symptoms seem a little mild to me. Like enough for me to be a little concerned but not so much that I want to see a doctor for them. I'm hoping that they are all just coincidentally and will go away with time. But i wanted to see what other people who weren't family or friends would think and kinda go from there.

Mental health conditions, like anxiety, depression, and stress, can all have a negative effect on hunger levels. Other physical conditions, such as pregnancy, hypothyroidism, and more, can also cause a decrease in appetite

I'm 29 and been feeling the same way since I was 19. I havent lost any weight. I don't feel hungry and feel constantly heavy and full. I'm constantly bloated. The doctors told me it was my gallbladder , so they took it out which made everything alot worse. Was told I have acid reflux and prescribed meds but no avail. If anyone figures out what this is please let us know.

i had my first baby 14 months ago and it was very traumatic.
Since then, no hunger, no thirst. I've spoken to the GP who tells me its anxiety and ive been on AD for the last 8 weeks but still no hunger.
i have gone private and am having cameras down the throat and up the bum to rule things out.
I'm sick with worry.
Hope you're all well and in good spirits x

Anxiety is often the reason.
Maybe you need different meds.
Not all meds work the same way and not all have the same side effects.
Look for one that results in weight gain.
